I seem to hate it so much whenever people use msn slang, double letters like ''radd &&fabb'' and also &&.
I know I'm 14...but everyone else uses msn slang ALL the time.
Is there something wrong with me because I hate it so much? I find it easier to type normally.
I understand things like w.e lol stfu etc.
bt wen thy typ lik ths it pisses the sht out of m.
Also I find people who use excessive emoticons for like words and so on.

christina answered Thursday October 25 2007, 2:31 am: There's nothing wrong with you, it's normal to hate that. I hate it too. I can bare with the lmfao's & whatnot, or stfu but when people go out of their way to type a word wrong, it drives me nuts.
Miss-Chris answered Wednesday October 24 2007, 9:27 pm: Don't worry about hating the way your friends type. I absolutly hate it when people type so that you can barely read. You are not alone. Tell your friends to type properly because you can't understand what they are trying to say. If they continue to type so that you can't understand, warn them that you will refuse to talk to them if they continue. Wether or not you actually block them is your choice. I hope I helped! thelaura answered Wednesday October 24 2007, 5:43 pm: Course you don't have a problem. You're right, it's VERY annoying. In fact, I don't talk to people online like that because I find it to be very stupid and harder to understand. Plain English is good enough for me!
Some people probably think it's cool.. but it just makes them look ridiculous. It's actually more effort than typing normally, too. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]

A lot of people are like that nowadays.
For me at least, everyone thought it was "cool" to use all that AIM slang & such in middle school, but now since we're all such good typists (typers? whatever, you get the point!) it's simpler to just type complete sentences regardless of whether it's AIM or a term paper. The only abbreviations I still use are rotflol, lmfao, and brb if I have to leave VERY quickly for something like a small kitchen fire.
Ppl hoo ttype lyk dis are just annoying, haha. You're fine :)
