Theres this boy that I used to like and he didn't even know what I looked like. Recently, I said hi to him in the halls and now he knows what I look like. My friend asked him if he thought I was pretty and he said yes. We have been talking online everyday for a long time and we feel we know each other pretty well. We don't know each other well enough in person, which I'm going to try to accomplish soon. I had a friend talk to him and he was saying that I wasn't the right type of girl for him, all though when he described to me the girls he likes, it sounded so much like me it was scary. He says I would be a better friend, like I am now, then a girlfriend. I really want to change his mind! Maybe if he gets to know me in person, he would! What can I do? I know we are perfect for each other, and his friends and my friends know it too. I have started developing feelings for him again, but he doesn't know and if I tell him, i'm afraid he'll reject me. Help!

He said he liked you as a friend. continue you online talking and he may eventually decide he'd like to try something else. Don't be pushy and try to rush things because you're right, he'll probably be turned off by that.Also keep friends out of it.Nothing is worse than a bunch of he said, she saids...not to mention things could get screwed up.Keep chatting and hopefully he will come around soon.

Kinda looks like you're being used.That doesn't make YOU the loser.If this guy loves you he will respect your wishes not to do anything without making you feel like a loser.If he doesn't then why do you want him anyway?

NO.It sounds like maybe these two set you up by getting you drunk.They don't sound like they are good friends so steer clear of them.Good friends don't set you up like that.......what losers.You are fine, nothing to be ashamed of. However what they did could very well be considered rape.They are no friends of yours.

I think you should give her the note....Better yet tell her in person that you understand.Then, you stay friends and don't ask her out right away.Maybe over time if you are good enough friends she will change her opinion and she will want to date.You will send a mixed signal if you ask her out now...You just told her you understood that she only wanted to be friends right? I think you should stop worrying about it and let it happen in it's own time.He will kiss you when he's ready to. Hope you don't have to wait too long :) Don't get others involved in it. None of their business and could be embarrassing for him.

Well when the friend you have in common is talking to him you march right on over and get introduced.I know you are nervous but it will be okay.You will hit it off or you won't.You'll never know unless you try!

There is probably nothing you can do to stop this.Talk it over with him and see whats going on.You will find out sooner or later anyway so ask.If he's loosing intrest for some reason, go out and find someone else and turn this one loose.

If she is your friend she should be happy for you.True friends do not dictate who your other friends are. So long as she isn't dating this guy then I see nothing wrong with you seeing him.You found him first anyway!

Well theres this guy ive been talking to for like 6 or 7 months now i met him through my friend. Well hes pretty cool and all. But hes always telling my friends that he likes me and all this stuff but we've never met in person all we do is talk on the phone and hes going to ask me out pretty soon and i dont know if i really should because it would cause problems with this girl and i havent even met him and probably never will since im always so busy i mean we've both been at the same parties but never noticed it or anything. you liked him on the internet didn't you? Don't let his looks scare you off.I would personally be cautious of anyone I met online but meet him in public places for awhile and introduce him to friends.If all goes well, then judge him by his actions and not what he looks like or what others think of him.Good luck!

my dog has severe nervous agression he has never been hit he lives with a female dog my self and my son he has never gone to bite me but growelled you go to stroke him he cowers and wees i cannot touch his feet he screams he has slightly bite other pple but not badly he does not like other dogs he gets on with our other dog but occasionally they disagree they are both neutered he is the most loving and attentive dog ive seen towards myself he sleeps at my feet follows me everywhi dont know what to do ere crys when i leave the room (link)

I would take him to a vet to make sure he is not hurting somewhere.They will be able to help you. You want to be careful that he doesn't bite your son if he is small.Also you can never be to careful these days...people seem hell bent to sue each other for everything under the sun.So, you don't want him to bite someone else.You might walk up behind him sometime and clap your hands. See if he hears okay.I had a dog that would turn around and bite because he was simply startled every time he didn't see you coming.Good luck with it....I love dogs!

What do you guys think about having an "Ask Alice" column in a school newspaper.
like where an annonymous person (possibly me) answers annonymous questions asked my students in the school. some could be put online, and some just sent back to the students. do you think that it is a good idea, i read about it in a book, it was called "Teen Idol" by Meg Cabbot, anyone ever read it? then you may know what i am talking about, only in the book it was called "Ask Annie"
the person (maybe me) would remain annonymous so that the people asking the questions would not know who you were or if you were apart of one group or clique and them another, that way the person asking the question isnt scare or whatever!!
So, do you think that this is a good idea?

Haven't read the book but sounds like it could be a good idea.The thing is I don't know how you would keep anon.You would have to get with people to get it started and secrets don't seem well kept in schools.Good lick with it though.

Okie dokie, recently I started working....on the job, I've discovered that I am crushing on my manager and all my co-workers can tell that I like him..... he's a dancer and all this stuff so a lot of people think he is gay, but I don't think he is.... when we are around he eachother, we make the best of eachothers time... and on the first day of work I got real sick and he was very concerned. Then the next day, he asked me if I was feeling better, so he is really caring. But he laughs at everything I say and it seems like he flirts with me back...so I dunno if he likes me or not..... and we have SOOOO MUCH IN COMMON! But I think that he won't date me (or I think I wouldn't have a chance) because of the fratnerization issue (dating anyone higher personal than you which will cause you to get fired or moved to another department.). So what should I do? Like me and him could keep a down-low relationship or somthing, but is he even interested? (link)

Don't even ask.He may like you but if he does let him be the one to say something.You could get fired yourself if he doesn't return the feeling and he thinks it will become a problem.You can't date every guy who happens to like you after all.Some will just be friends.

okay i have a BIG problem , i hate going to the school i go to and ive been really depressed lately. I try to tell my parents i dont want to go to that school but of course like most parents they dont listen. All i do is cry and i hardly get any sleep at night..i need a break from all of it i try to tell them i need a break before going to school to clear my head so i can actually pay attention. You don't say how old you are.If it is any school but college you have to go because it's against the law for your parents NOT to send you.
Why is it you don't want to go? Somebody giving you a hard time? Maybe they don't have a choice where they send you to school.Most school districts will charge you extra if you don't live in their district.I'm sure that didn't help much, maybe you can give a few more details?

It's not necessarily anything serious.You should probably go see about it though.There are lots of blood vessels there and that will make even a small place bleed a lot.
