I finally updated my picture, I thought it was time for an update on it so I picked my favorite picture. After all, my previous picture was almost 2 and a half years old!
My name is Ryan. And I will answer most everything you want to ask to the best of my God given ability.But I will not sugar coat any answer and I will give MY advice. I don't care about my ratings, so don't think giving me a 1 for an answer you don't want to hear will scare me. And if you already know what you should do about a sitaution, don't come to us here at advicenators asking for a second opinion. And here below is a list of questions you should NOT ask on advicenators. Granted some of them may vary and be acceptable, but overall don't ask the below questions on Advicenators.
**Don't ask questions like "OMG i heard this song on the radio with "insert pointless pop lyrics here" and i wanna know what it is so what is it! Thanks!! I rate 5sssss! hearts". This question can be simply googled with the lyrics, or you need only ask a friend
**Don't ask "ok so there is the hott guy/gal in my class and he/she like got me a *insert gift or simple trinket here* do you think he/she likes me?" This is the most common question here on this website sadly. Unless it is vitally important and actually pertains to a feeling of true feelings, don't ask it. This is most asked by teens. And what teens need to learn is "love" is not thinking a guy/girl is sweet and hott and nice. I know love, and it is so far from all those things. Remember Cicero when he said "Out of all the emotions, love is the most violent. Love is madness."
**"Ok so me and my boyfriend had sex last night and we like used no protection omg he came in me do you think i am pregnant?" Ugh. Stupid teens and their hormones. IF YOU HAVE SEX YOU ALWAYS RUN THE RISK OF PREGNANCY, UNLESS YOUR STERILE. And if you don't know anything about sex, you shouldn't be doing it. Even if you "love" your partner, half the time this is a disallusion and you will end up hurt. Sex is for marriage.
**Or asking what's "in" for fashion, or what they should wear out tonight. Or what is "cute" and what looks good. Pick and choose for yourself what you like, think for yourself instead of trying to let other people do it for you. Stand up and be yourself.
These are the most common questions I have seen on Advicenators. Now there are a few questions that are very good questions and deserve the 3 rating and the best answer possible. But they are usually blocked out with the kinds of questions listed above. If you want to ask something, check the following off that I am listing.
1.Does the question pertain to anything important or trivial?
2.Is proper grammar used?
3.Is the question long and in one paragraph?
4.Is it a question that you yourself can answer?
5.Is there enough detail?
Following those 5 guidelines, you can write a good 3 point answer. That about wraps it up.
I spend alot of time online and here on advicenators, so if you ever need anything then just send something in my inbox or IM me. I'm not opposed to helping people at all, in fact I love doing it. I just want some people to wake up from asking a stupid question.

so my one "friend" pretends to cut herself.then she makes a big deal out of it when people ask to see her arms,implying that she cuts.she doesnt.she just wants people to feel bad for her.and she tells EVERYONE.from the people i know that have cut,they dont like people to know.its just really annoying because she gets all the attention for something that isnt even true.she makes tiny little marks on her arms with like paper.and then when i say that she doesnt,she gets all mad at me and says what a horrible friend i am.im not trying to be mean,but it just bugs me.how can i get her to stop being so annoying about it.oh,and another thing,whenever we get in fights,she always goes and says that she has to go because shes gonna go cut herself.how can i get her to stop?

Ya know what.
She wants the attention, then let her have it. In fact, tell her parents and see what they will do, see if she really enjoys having all that attention when her parents come clammering down on her and send her off for therapy.
It's ridiculous. I will bet she has nothing true to be upset over. She is crying out for attention and she is getting it. However, in the end I gaurantee you she will be friendless and broken mentally. Are you being a bad friend for speaking up saying she doesn't really have any cuts to show? Absolutely not, in fact your being more of a friend by trying to stop all the attention from getting to her.
Quite frankly though, if she wants the attention, let her have it, but tell her in the end she will end up broken and friendless. And for the record, I hate people who pose themselves like that for attention. If it was me in the situation, I would have exposed her so fast....

Seriously, what good does it do to go around directly talking to him? What the deuce do you have to lose?
And technically speaking, he is indeed off limits if he has a girlfriend. And besides, if he breaks up with her for you, what is to say he won't break up with you for someone else?
It's a valid point to consider, because any guy willing to break up with his own girlfriend and go right to another girl, isn't worth your trouble.
If he likes you or not, I don't know and staring at you doesn't really even mean jack. If he does like you though, I wouldn't waste your time on him. After all, he is looking at other girls when he has a girlfriend if he is...

In class yesterday I was sitting next to a girl who I don't really know, and she rolled her sleeve up and I saw she had cuts all up her arm, and that some of them were bleeding. She didn't know that I saw. Now I don't know this girl at all, but I do know one of her flatmates a bit. Should I speak to her flatmate and see if she knows this girl is cutting herself? Cos I think her flatmate could help her much more than I could.

If you have reason to believe she is cutting (which you do) you need to tell a teacher or counciler, and not her flatmate.
Go to a higher authority before anything else. If she really is doing it, the higher authority can help alot more than her flatmate.

A 1 for younggrandma..that was slightly uncalled for, considering she answered you question perfectly. I want to add some points though.
If she (your mother) is paying for your internet connection and she bought your computer, there isn't a dang thing you can do to stop her.
I will assume your underage, meaning you are still in the protective custody of your mother. Like younggrandma said, she can do anything she wants with you.
Honestly though, why are you afraid of her reading your IMs?

Well, my friend told me that nail polish if you drank enough would kill you. Please don't lecture me or anything....but, recently I have been just really sad and mad at the world and I feel like my world is crashing down. I drank about a third of the bottle about 30 minutes ago. Nothing has happened so far. I don't know what to do. I was talking to my bf at the moment I made the decision and he kept telling me please, no, don't do it. But I didn't listen and I did it. He was mad at me when I told him I did, and he's never been this mad at me before. He won't talk to me now. If I live, what should I do now? I still feel like theres nothing to live for, and what is worth living for, him, everyone keeps me away from him. Or will I even live? And I'm dead serious on this question. First off, seek medical attention.
Second, seek pyschiatric attention. I'm going to tell you right now, you may not feel like there is nothing to live for, but there is ALWAYS something to live for, ALWAYS. I don't care if you say you don't. Ever wonder how things end when you die? Ever wonder how much your own family is gonna cry and mourn when you decide to commit to that untimely fate? What about your boyfriend, he obviously cares, so is that not worth living for? I can bet more than one of your friends is gonna ball their eyes out when they find out you tried to kill yourself, even more so if you succede
Don't come in here saying there is nothing to live for, because their is. Suicide is NEVER the good way out and I gaurantee you people have it alot worse than you. I remember talking to someone who was contemplating suicide because she said "everything was going wrong!". Then I felt the need to tell her everything wrong in my life and my friends lives. It shut her up real quick.
The end result though, I don't even have to know you to say, is that everything in the end will be alright, despite ANY circumstances. Get help, and stop thinking everything is so damn bad.

Monosexuals are described as someone who is only attracted to one sex, be it male or female, so they're can be gay monosexuals and strait monosexuals.
It's a bulked word, meaning it can be another way of saying on is gay and has no feelings to the opposite sex, as opposed to bisexual, which is the sexual attraction to two sexes.
As for "self-sexuality" I would treat that more as vanity than anything else.

In my 2nd period, this guy who was my best friend last year sits behind me. Just so you know, we aren't even really friends anymore. Every single thing he says is so perverted and it makes me feel really uncomfortable.
Today when I was walking down the hallway five little sixth grade guys came up to me and one of them said, "HE TOLD ME TO SPANK YOUR BUTT!" And then me and my friend looked at each other and were like, "Um, excuse me?" And just shook our heads and kept walking. A few minutes later I heard their voices again and one of them was saying, "SLAP IT!"

You won't be called a slut simply for refusing him.
I applaud you for atleast having the common sense to know not to have sex so young. Tell the guy to kick it and leave, you don't need to worry about it. If he persists, tell an adult and get it dealt with.
And believe me, bad mouthing when you don't have sex is much worse than bad mouthing if you did have sex. Meaning, if you have sex it's going to be alot worse than if you don't.

It shows, to me, a failure in society.
And the sad thing is, it's getting worse and worse with each year and even every generation. I don't want to imagine what age kids will be becoming sexually active when I turn 30. It's pitiful what some kids will actually try to do to fit in, or even try and fulfill their own destructive tendancies.
I hold part of the blame to the parents, who don't know how the hell to discipline kids these days. When I was 10 and I did something wrong, I didn't get put into "time out", I got smacked. Nowadays if a parents does that they get carted into court for "child abuse". It's a lack of discipline and self control.
I think if I hadn't taken a personal vow never to harm myself or my personal beliefs forbad me too, I would have long killed myself at the complete mess society has made of itself.

First of all, let me set the records strait.
Fairy tales are just that, fairy tales. As in, fanciful, meaning wishful or ridiculously obsurd. Almost any book you read, such as the one you mentioned, that deals with the subject of love, is nothing more than modern fairy tale.
They rarely happen. Things written and produced to show that "love conquers all" or illustrates an illusion that love is undying and conquers all.
In reality, your going to expierence heartache and a good chance that those that break your heart, will only do it again if given the chance, even if they don't mean to.
That is why I absolutely hate things like "The Notebook" or "Lovely Bones" because they illustate a picture that will most likely not happen, but it gets your hopes up that it just "might" happen.
Trust me when I say you can find plenty of "real" love all around you, and not the made up kind that you find in those books. Your 13, do you realize how much time you truly have to contemplate "love" and what it truly means to be "mature"? Your just entering the first stages of maturity and you have a long way to go.
The first thing you could do to help mature youself though, is to get rid of the notion that love in those kinds of books is almost unreachable and probably won't happen to you. It might, but the chances truly are..fanciful.
I'm being brutally honest with you because you need to know it before you live your teenage life believing that one day "Mr.Right" will come waltzing along out of the blue and you will live happily ever after. Because if you keep believing that, your gonna look back on your teenage years and realize how much you really missed because you thought that.
Boys are not mature at age 13 AT ALL. They're still just that, boys. Wait until highschool, because I gaurantee you by that point a small chunk will have matured to the point where you can find a small slice of the "love" you want. It won't be exactly like you think it will be, because you havn't even expierenced it yet.
I hope I helped. Just keep it in the back of your mind that it's mostly just fantasy, it might happen sure, but most likely it probably won't. I'm not meaning to sound pessimistic, but rather realistic. Your 13 as well, you'll have your time eventually to meet someone, so don't rush.

A physical ed class soley based on airsoft and paintball. Or a class soley for sparring in any form or martial art.
Or psychology, and I'm not talking about your basic "this is how the brain works and why people this way" class. I would want a class that really delves into why people do what they do and why people expierence what they do.

One of my bestfriends Asked the guy that i liked out. Well i was really upset about it and she told me to stop acting like a child. She knows that i really like him and have for the past month.

okay so my boyfriend is 3 years older than me and we've been going out for 4 months. He keeps pushing me into doing things. About 3 or 4 weeks ago he pushed me into having sex and i didnt want to because of pregency and stuff. He made me and all of a sudden i was having sex with him. i keep trying to talk to him telling him that im not ready to have sex and stuff but he wont listen. we used protection but im scared of becoming pregnant. Seriously though, we would you want to be with him when he is making you do things you don't want to be doing? Especially sex.
My opinion? Get rid of him, I gaurantee you can find a boyfriend who would be more than willing to wait for you when it came to sex. The one you got now is a jack (my term for any guy who is a combination of alot of things ugly and bad) and needs to be dealt with.

everyone in their right mind likes this guy in school. and i have really fallen for him. we talk and he asks me how i do at my games and i ask the same to him. im afraid to go any further than this because of a few reasons.

So, I'm probably going to sound harsh.
Ok.
First, any person who is doing drugs and is trying to quit, won't. Either it's peer pressure or it is the lack of will. It would take something significant to push them to the point of abandoning their drug, even if it is a small one.
Second, any boy who uses girls for sex, isn't worth any girls time. And worse yet, it's two girls he is seeing at once. AT ONCE and obviously they don't got two much of a problem with it because it's still happening.
Third. Small chatter does not give the indication and shouldn't give the indication of liking someone else. If anything, it is busy talk or general cliche talk. Most conversations a person will have during the day with someone they meet will be cliche conversation.
Fourth. Any person in their right mind falling for this person? Any person in my right mind would be kicking him to the curb and out the door if they knew what he was doing. Wow...just wow.
Honestly, I don't care what you think this guy is capable of. You say he is just someone mixed up in the crowd. EVERYONE who participates in society (or rather, what your describing) get's mixed up in the crowd by choice. This is his choice to do what he does, I can bet no one is pushing on his back say "do it..."
Personal advice, find a better guy. Especially if he is using two girls for sex. Where does that leave you? The third wheel?
