what class would you DIE to take?

Question Posted Thursday September 28 2006, 11:33 am

Heyy y'all :D

I'll get right to it -
lets say there was a list of 10000 different classes you could take, everything from cooking to selfdefense, what class would you take? ölike, what would you actually ENJOY doing (not like math and physics haha) what seminar would you willingly go to, to hear about a class..

so basically, if you could invent a class that doesn't exist what would it be?
or have you ever been to some kind of class that you would love to go to again or even have as a real class in school??

A physical ed class soley based on airsoft and paintball. Or a class soley for sparring in any form or martial art.

Or psychology, and I'm not talking about your basic "this is how the brain works and why people this way" class. I would want a class that really delves into why people do what they do and why people expierence what they do.

That is pretty much it.

This question brightened my night :)

Haha, i love your question! Ok, I'm a freak for art so I'd definately go for the Visual Arts class (I'm actually doing a course at the moment). And I'd really love to take a Marine Studies class. Not sciency type of stuff but interesting marine studies, type of thing...

I would love to take several classes. I would like to take a class to learn how to cook Chinese food. I would like to take a forensics class. I'm also very interested in the mind of a serial killer (I'm not quite sure what the class would be called). I love psychology classes and I love learning how the mind works. I've liked all of the psychology classes I've taken in high school and in college. I also loved my Humanities class (1500's to the present). I hope this helps. <3 Dana

Actually, it would be cooking. I used to cook a lot in lessons when I was at school and I loved it a lot. Unfortunately, after my GCSE's, they didn't offer it at the next level so I never had the opportunity to further that.

These days, I don't have much time for cooking so that would be my absoloute favourite choice.

That....and creative writing, because I miss writing very much.

I would LOVE to take a class about dream interpretation. My sister read a book on it once and it seemed really interesting. She even interpreated one of my dreams and I was in shock because it really related to my life!

I would also really enjoy a class about overcoming shyness and being self concious. I have problems with both and it is a really big problem in my life. It holds me back from trying new things that could end up being great experiences.

Okay, one more! lol I think they should have a class that is exactly like the show Project Runway. It would encourage creativity and be a lot of fun.

It was a long time ago now that I was in school, but given the chance I would have loved to have studied Volcanology. Field studies would have been great, travelling to different parts of the world to collect samples etc. :)

LM answered Thursday September 28 2006, 4:34 pm:
I'd love to take a photography class. The highschool I go to is great, its high tech an has teachers with masters degrees, et cetera. But it's a technicial school, so there's wayyy to much emphasis on sports and SkillsUSA (for the best of the best shop students).

Most other highschools, like my town's, have photography, but it's integrated into a Communications Tech class, so it's not all you do.

So, I'd love to get highschool credit for a class that's ALL, 100% photography :]

Well I don't think this is a class but I'd just LOVE to have a Broadway class in my school that teaches you how to sing and dance.

Well im taking Archaeology in highschool and i absolutely love it. And if any one goes to a highschool that happens to over it i would highly reccomend it.

kim:)

EDIT: Well we just started in the field. The field we are digging at i believe was burned down around the 1600's. Right now we prepping everything so we can get ready to dig. Me and two other girls are using the metal detector and going around and placing flags where there is silver, gold, or iron. And you should see the field its like amazing how many flags we have in the ground like atleast 200 so far. I love the class because im excited to find out what their life was like then. And as of right now the only thing we have actually found that stands out is two Cellar pits & and the hearth ( the fireplace). But its very excited and i hope we find something goood.
