Alright, so each month in the few days right before my period I get excessively horny. I end up feeling the need to masturbate a couple times a day even if my boyfriend and I do have sex. Is it normal to get horny like this?

Yes this is absolutely definately normal. Some girls get very horny before their period is due and some girls get very horny a few days after their period. It's got something to do with hormones I'm guessing. But yes, absolutely completely normal. :]

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on a health problem that my husband is having. He is 33 years old, otherwise healthy, but has been experiencing what seems to be inner ear problems his whole life. Since he was a child he has had episodic vertigo. As he ages it seems to be getting progressively worse, now with ringing in the ears, constant disequilibrium, dizziness, vertigo attacks and now weight loss. He's been to an ENT who is apparently the best and he can't figure out what is wrong with him. He's had MRI's, CT scans, and blood work. All normal. His hearing is fine as well. Please help!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your husband, I'm 18 and I have the exact same thing. I've had blood tests and am constantly at the doctors. Since everything else, such as stroke etc has been ruled out, the doctor has diagnosed me with a viral infection in my inner ear called labyrinthitis.

I have the exact same symptoms as your husband and I know this is such a horrible and frustrating condition.

I was given some tablets called "Stemetil" and after the 5 days I took these for I felt about 70% better with much much less dizzyness and vertigo. During the time I was on these tablets I felt horrible but as soon as I finished taking them I immediately felt a difference.

After about 3 months I am nearly completely better; I have spoken to a number of people who have had this condition and apparently labyrinthitis can last from a couple of weeks to even years!

There isn't really much you can do for this apart from heathy eating and plenty of bed rest unfortunately. I know this is a frustrating and awful thing to have.

Ok, so my friend and I made this list of things we want to do before we graduate highdchool, and one of the things on the list was to learn how to play the guitar. Now, I've grown up around music, my dad's sside of the family are strong musicians and most of them know how to play the guitar. So, naturally, I had no trouble getting a guitar and some exercises to help practice, whereas, she has yet to get a guitar. So she said it was fine that I started learning before her. So, last week, I got the guitar and sat down and practiced for a few hours. Basically, the first week, I was just trying to build up calic [sp?] so it wouldn't hurt as much when I moved on to the hard stuff. So, I was talking to my friend on the phone while I was practicing, and she said I sucked! I told her I had just picked the thing up a few days ago, but she said I should be way ahead of where I am right now. So, to my question, I'm I really not learning it as fast as I should? I've been practicing for a few days and I've already got a few notes and a chord down. Is this acceptable for 1-2 weeks of practicing? Thanks!

Firstly, good on you and your friend for making your list and settig goals for yourself.

You need to practice at the very, very least of one hour a day, no matter how much it hurts to make sure you build up calisus on your fingertips, make sure you are pushing the strings down with the very very tip of your fingers at all times to build up calisus in the right place and to get into the habit. You may need to cut your fingernails a little to make sure you can push down on the very tips of your fingers. Even if it stings the pain will go away after about 15 minutes of practising.

You won't really need notes to play guitar. I've never played anything with notes. You will learn tab later on when you progress a little.
The most important thing to learn for you right now is chords.
Just start off by learning what A, C, D, E, F and G chords are. Then you can learn Am, Dm, Em ect. Maybe try to learn three a day and practice changing between each chord and you will get quicker and quicker until you dont even need to look at what you are doing.

But you say you've played for 1-2 weeks? That's quite a lot of time really, you should know more than one chord by now. Most people would know 4-6 chords and be able to change between them after 2 weeks. After a month or so you should be able to do this without even thinking.

My suggestion is to just follow what I have said above and probably start all over again from scratch. Get someone you know who has played guitar for a while (eg: your dad) to put draw some chords in tab form on a piece of paper and put the name of the chord above each one. You can then practice each of these every day until you can change quickly between them.

ok so here it goes. im 13,f, and one of my best friends is 14,f. well she went out with this kid whos 15, m, and they were pretty serious for like 4 months. well one day SHE broke up with HIM for reasons unknown. he has had relashionships after, yet she hasnt. anyways its been at like 6 months since they broke up and hes obviousley gotten over her but she jsut cant shake him. anyways, over the last couple of weeks me and him have been hanging out and tonight he had his arm around me and we were like makign out and stuff. i honestly dont know if this is just like a friends with benefits thing or if he wants something more, but either way... i dont know whether to tell my friend or not. i mean i like him now, and theyve been over for like 6 months and SHE endded it. i would feel awful if she had like legit feeelings for him but i wanna be able to be with him freeely. any suggestions on how i should handle this? thank you so much sorry this was sooooo amazingly long,

Honestly, I think you should stick by your friend.
Because I have learnt from experience that boys come and go, no matter what they say, how much you two 'promise' you will be together forver. In the end promises are just words.
And best friends mean more than ANYONE in the world.
Remember if she is a truely genuine good friend she will be the one who will still be there for you when the time comes when you and this boy aren't together anymore.
You don't want to go and wreck a great friendship over the sake of a boy who you aren't going to stay long with anyway.
I know that sounds harsh, but that is reality love. You are only young, it is stupid to believe you can be with the boy you like now. You will have many boyfriends in your lifetime. Now when you're young its just time to have fun.
But friends stick by you for life.
Also, think about what your best friend would be feeling about you and her ex. Imagine if that was you.

My hair is starting to grow out after dying it & it looks awful, so I was thinking about trying extensions once it grows out to a certain length.
If you get the clip-on hair extensions, is it easy for them to fall out? Any certain brand that you would recommend? Thanks in advance!

"My Accesories" do great and cheap hair extentions that clip in easily, look real and won't fall out. I got a 2 pack for $10. You can get them in 6 colours and you can get them curly or straight. It would also be worthwhile to have a look in a shop such as Cosmetics Plus.

ive got bangs very similar to that. I couldn't do it myself, in fact I dont think most people could do it themselves. The best option is to print the picture out and take it to your hairdresser. I was suprised at just how inexpensive my cut was, it was really worth it, and the job my hairdresser did was excellent. :]

- I do not have texting on my verizon phone.
- I heard that verizon-to-verizon texts were free...
- I recntly found out that is not true if you don't buy a certain plan.
- My father pays for my phone bill, and he will FREAK out when he gets it for this month.
- I am VERY worried though. My parents are strict, & I mean VERY strict. & I have been texting this boy.

1. no, your dad cannot read what you have sent.
3. it shows only the number you have been texting, although do keep in mind he may ask you who it is.
4. do you mean just deleting the texts youve sent? if so, no you cannot block it that way. you can put a call barring on your phone to stop people texting you.

if you just explain to your dad that you thought the texts were free, he should understand. stay calm and just say to him. Maybe you can go and talk to your service provider company and you can change a few things on your plan. Then you'll know for mext time. Good luck! hope this helped!

I love my boyfriend for who he is and I would never ask God to change a single thing about him. He's the most amazing person without a doubt I've ever met. He's so incredibly kind and has such nice manners. He's very honest and I can trust him with anything at all without a worry. He always tells me how much he loves me and never a day goes by where I feel like he doesn't. Even late at night he'll leave me messages telling me he's thinking of me. He's generous and he always puts others first. He's so smart, I can stand there for hours listening to him waffling on to some 40 year old about engines. He always tells me I'm beautiful - I know I don't think so but he does and it makes me feel really special. He loves me and only me; very important! And he's so much fun...we've had the best times ever together. Even when he isn't all active he's the best person in the whole world to sit down and snuggle with, he's so warm and comforting and lets me know how he's feeling. Sorry, I'm going on and on and on but thats how great he is...
I'd never ask for anything more.

Hmm, the only other thing I can suggest is to do two things:

1. Publicly post a question asking if anyone else has a Motorola cell phone with a digital music player (there's bound to be someone else).

2. Go back to the store where you bought it and ask for an explaination on why it isn't coming up when you plug it into your computer.

I really wish I was there to show you how to do it and to try and work out what is wrong with it for you.

Look, honestly, I really don't mind having to help you with this. It's like my job! haha. I'd feel bad if you felt like I was getting annoyed with you and turning you away! :]

Ok, sounds a bit odd.

How about trying to install the 'Motorola Phone Tools' CD Rom you should have got with your phone? It's not really related to the connection side of things but just load the disc, install it, and give it a go...You can only try.

Let me know how that goes after you've done that. Maybe after you've installed it try both of those methods again which I showed you before.

How do u make a cake???

It's really quite easy and fun. There are a number of ways to get you started.

* Have a look in a cookbook for a 'start from scratch' recipie where you do everything yourself.

* Buy a cake mix from your local supermarket, the instructions are really simple and on the back. The flour and icing mixture will be in the pack.

* Buy a ready mad cake base from your local supermarket and you can add cream and jam to the centre aswell as add icing and anything else you fancy!

This really sounds like he still likes you! I think you already KNOW that he's into you! You didn't say whether you broke up with him or he broke up with you. If you broke up with him then I'd definately say he really wants you back bad. If he broke up with you he obviously regrets it. When you are in a relationship with someone you need to be totally honest and be able to tell each other anything without fear. One day when you are mucking around just give him a friendly hug and see how he reacts. If you get a good reaction then keep flirting; more than likely you won't need to ask him out and one thing will lead to another!! Hehehe, just one of my little tricks! As I said before you should be able to tell each other anything. Just put on a brave face, take a deep breath and do it! More than likely he's feeling the same way as you - scared of asking. The quicker you do it the quicker it'll be over with; you won't need to worry about it anymore and you'll have your boyfriend back. The good things outweigh the bad.

Is hot water and hand/body soap enough to kill nasty bacteria living on my makeup brushes, sponges, and mascara wands? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on what IS good enough?

I'd say it would be enough to clean them but as for removing bacteria you can buy make up applicator cleaners like this one by Estee Lauder:

Im dating a guy who is cousins with one of my closer friends they talk about me and i know they do, because she feels that we shouldnt date anymore we've been together for almost 2 years (few more months to come) but my bf feels that i've stolen him away from her like i hog him to much & she feels the same way. Im not heartless i think family is important so why'd i want that for them right? i want them to know that i do believe its important that they still do see eachother, I want to write her a letter explaining that i do think its important they hang out, spend time together, u no? Ok, to get you started you'll need to write down all the points of what you want to say. For example here's some to get you started:

* You think family is important.
* You think it is important for them to spend time together.
* You don't see why you shouldn't date her cousin anymore.
* She does not own him or you and is not in the relationship so should not have an input into how long you and your boyfriend should be together.

Just add anything to that list that you want to say...just important points for your letter. It doesn't have to be too long, just what you feel you need to say.

Remember that she is a close friend and you don't want to lose her or her cousin over this so keep your letter to her NICE. Just give her the facts in a way which dosen't sound too rude or upfront. Especially the last point.

Once you've thought about and written down your points you'll need to just say a few sentences or so about each...sort of like writing an essay, I suppose, but this is just short and sweet if you wish!

Just let her know how your feeling as well, this is really important because she might not be able to see this from your point of view. Most people don't look at both sides of a dilemma. So just tell her straight out...if you're feeling confused or upset then tell her so. Remember to keep it nice though.

I think the way in which you've explained your situation here to me is a good way to start, you've told me your feelings and the main points, just keep along this track of things.

I'd say that yes, it would be cheating. Look at it from the view of the boyfriend/girlfriend...They'd feel pretty bad, I know I would. If a person already have a partner then I don't think they need anything from anyone else, if you know what I mean.

Cake would probably be the way to go I think. You could do so many types of cakes like carrot cake, chocolate cake, sponge etc. And make it really nice and maybe add cream and jam and the best part is you can decorate it with yummy icing! And it'll be big enough for them all to share. It'll probably make a bigger impact on them as well. I think that's a really nice idea.
