I have a real problem with my hair, i have to wash it EVERYDAY, even if i wash it and dry it before bed the next morning it'll look greasy and feel gross. Any tips so i dont have to wash it everyday because that means i ahve to wake up way earlier for school. THanks!!
Change your pillowcase frequently. Oil from your face and hair builds up and that could be part of the problem!

I'm a freshman in highschoool, and over the summer i moved so i didnt know anyonre. now i know quite a few people, and i have friends and everything, but I really want to connect more with them. like right now i just have casual friends, but I really want my realationship with them to become better. The best way to get to know somebody is outside of school in a stress-free enviornment. Invite a few of the girls/guys to hang out. If you have compatability as friends, conversation will flow and you won't need to think of conversation starters before-hand. Best of luck :)

If you calculate your BMI (body mass index), you are actually right on target for your height and age. Loosing more than one or two pounds could be unhealthy. I know that you may feel uncomfortable, but you really don't need to loose any weight at all.

im going to a new high school this year, freshman, and i dont know anyone. its an all girls school and the first day i went (orientation) i talked to this girl and thought i made a friend. but then we reunited at the end of the summer for orientation CAMP and she had this whole new group, so i made this other friend, but by the second day, she wasnt into me anymore

The best advice I can give you is to be yourself! I'd rather have one friend who likes me for me than a thousand friends who like me for who I'm not. Another thing: be friendly to everybody. Opposites often attract and you might find yourself fitting in with a different group than in middle school. Just remember that a clique doesn't define who you are! And just because you don't know somebody doesn't mean you can't shoot them a smile or introduce yourself after asking to borrow a pencil.

Here's something to remember: Most guys would prefer if YOU made the first move.
A school dance is the perfect time to show people your fun & flirty side (Especially if half of the boys have never been introduced to you before and don't think you're a "weirdo")Spot a hottie from your brother school? Act confident (...even if your not) and start dancing near him. If he doesn't come over to you after a little bit, make the first move and ask if he wants to dance. Make sure you do this during a FAST song. Slow songs are mainly reserved for the couples! If he turns you down, don't let it discourge you because he's probobly an a**hole anyway. If he says yes, don't start to get flustered because the hard part is already over with. You have him and now you just have to keep him. The good thing is: If it doesn't go well, you won't have to see him around school and if it does go well, the guys from your school will see this happening and think of you in a different light.

I really enjoy reading "The Clique" series by Lisi Harrison. I haven't read all of them yet, but i've read about three and I really liked them! Here is an explanation of the first book from www.barnesnoble.com :

Whats like the official definition of "hooked up" I thought it meant having sex, some of my friends just say like making out. So when I watch shows like Laguna and such, I never know what they mean!
Technically, to "hook up" means to have vaginal sex. It is also used in reference to oral or anal sex. I guess it could stand for making out, but not usually.

No, no. Four hours of continous dancing would be quite exhausting. For starters, most people arive a half an hour to an hour late because the beginning of the dance is normally slow. After everybody arrives, most people either dance or socialize. Another thing to do is get your picture taken with friends and/or your date. Every high school is different, but most offer some kind of food/refreshments. So, you see, MOST of the dance is dancing but it's not the only thing you can do. Hope I helped =)

I would LOVE to take a class about dream interpretation. My sister read a book on it once and it seemed really interesting. She even interpreated one of my dreams and I was in shock because it really related to my life!
I would also really enjoy a class about overcoming shyness and being self concious. I have problems with both and it is a really big problem in my life. It holds me back from trying new things that could end up being great experiences.
Okay, one more! lol I think they should have a class that is exactly like the show Project Runway. It would encourage creativity and be a lot of fun.

I was wondering, what kind of dress codes do you guys have at your schools? Length of shorts, tank tops, ripped jeans?
Also, what are the rules on PDA? We get suspension if we're caught hugging.

Dress Code Rules:
1) No midriffs exposed.
2) Shorts/skirts should meet your fingertips when standing.
3) No outdoor or winter coats are allowed in the classroom.
4) Head wear (bandanas, hats, sweatbands, or hoods) may be worn at anytime in the building.
5) Undergarments must not be visible.
6) Spaghetti straps, tube tops, halter-tops, backless tops, and one shoulder tops are not acceptable.
7) Slippers of any type are not alowed. Shoes must be worn at all times.
Our rules are fairly strict, but they aren't enforced very well. I see tons of girls wearing short shorts and halter tops. Only certain people can get away with it, though. It's odd.
As for PDA -- like before, certain people get away with it when others don't. Technically no kissing, hugging, holding hands, or the like is allowed.

2) Press "Prt Sc" on your keyboard. Mine is located on the upper right hand side. This key makes a copy of everything open on your computer screen.

When I am on my period, I sometimes eat a little more than I normally do. This is because I get cravings for certain foods throughout the day. It is not because you are SUPPOSED to eat more food than usual. Overall, your eating habits should stay the same during that time of the month. Hope I helped =)

My friends are helping me plan my fourthteenth birthday party. The theme is: Black & White Socialite. :)
We're having a black carpet, music, lights, and it will be classy-casual. Does anyone have any other ideas we could use/ do for the party?
I'm addicted to the show My Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV, so I have a lot of ideas! The girls on the show usually hire a photographer to take pictures of the birthday girl & her friends. I would sugguest having your mom or dad take pictures with a digital camera. Then have the pictures be converted to black & white to match the theme. I think it would be really cute to have one of the pictures on the front of the invitations! Or maybe (if you are willing to spend a little bit more) you could have the pictures blown up and hang them around the room. On the invitation, make sure to tell people that the dress code is black & white. You should wear a color that stands out like pink or orange. That way everyone will know you are the birthday girl. It depends mainly on where the party is being held and what you are going to be doing during the bridal shower. If it is the usual bridal shower (opening presents, fun word games, etc) then I would sugguest wearing something dressy-casual. My sugguestion is a nice pair of jeans with a dressy but stylish top. Certain shapes & fits of shirts can take notice away from your chest. These are some tips & examples from Seventeen magazine:
-Fitted polos work very well for full chested women. They show your shape without showing too much.
-Stay away from baggy sweatshirts or tees. They only add bulk to your upper body.
-Wear shirts that fit appropriatley because a too-tiny top exaggerates your chest even more.
-A fitted jacket creates a tasteful hourglass shape
