I'm a freshman in highschoool, and over the summer i moved so i didnt know anyonre. now i know quite a few people, and i have friends and everything, but I really want to connect more with them. like right now i just have casual friends, but I really want my realationship with them to become better. Like good conversation starters. Any suggestions?
Bergy413 answered Monday September 10 2007, 6:47 pm: Well, being a freshman, everyone is going to have to make new friends. I reccomend just start talking to the person next to you. You can maybe say: do you understand this (what you are learning in class), what did our teacher say the homework was?, maybe if you play a sport, so can ask them if they play it, just find something interesting to talk about. Eventually, if its interesting, people around you will start joining the conversation too!.. you can also join some after school clubs, where you can meet a whole bunch of people, and it also looks good on your college resume!
