Okk. Please Please help me. I've liked this kidd for like 2 weeks. and today he asked me out. of course i said yes. but omg! it is so awkward talking to him. like how can i make him less shy and our talking less awkward??????
Will rate!
pls help! (link)
|
Okay you must like him because you are shy around him, just be yourself around him so he can know you. Find something you are both interested in and talk about that. The worst thing you can do is be all big around him and cause him to think you are a bully. Dont do that.
hope i helped

first off - let me start by saying its really cool that a mom is helping teenagers. you seem really cool & fun. so thanks. anyway - i have a problem thats really been bugging me. [13/f] okay. so my boyfriend broke up with me monday. we dont go to the same school but we see each other pretty much week day because our schools have a conjoined track team (i know its wierd..blahh). anyway - he was always putting me on the "back burner" and putting his friends before me. we were together "officially" like a month and a half - but have been like doing bf/gf kinda stuff for about 3 or 4 months. he said he just doesnt feel it for me anymore. and its not there. he didnt wanna lie to me and he told me i was an amazing person but just not a girlfriend. hes all i can think about now. and its completely is driving me crazy. everytime i think about like us togetehr i end up balling my eyes out because we arent anymore. please dont say start flirting because i already do that - even when i have a boyfriend. the guys at my school are gay, immature & retards. so thats a deffinitate negative. i really fell hard for him, like really. i know - im young & theres other fish in the sea. but idk, its not gonna be the same. any ideas on maybe trying to get him back? .. or just getting over him. thanks in advance :] (link)

Thanks for the sweet words. I hope you feel the same when I'm done answering your question!
Ok so this is a sore subject with me so give me a second to get on my "Mommy Bandwagon"...
...It really makes me crazy when a girl gets upset over loosing a guy. Girls tend to think that they are only valuable when a guy validates them by liking them and/or asking them out. This could not be further from the truth! Ladies! Listen up! The GUYS are the lucky ones if YOU like THEM! I wish I could give every single girl reading this the confidence to understand what I'm saying...Girls are brought up to be insecure! Break out of this and you will be so much happier!!!!
This insecurity is really not your fault. Look at the movies you were brought up on...
1. Cinderella...well she wasn't really pretty or anything until Prince Charming fell for her. 2. Sleeping Beauty and Snow White...well the poor things were practically "DEAD" until their Prince kissed them!
3. Then Arial - well she didn't even have LEGS until she got her Prince to love her.
And I can go on and on with these stupid stories (metaphors) of females that seemed sweet, kind, pretty, etc but they just weren't "complete" until a guy came along...
Gee, I wonder who wrote those idiotic stories?!
So I know it's almost impossible to help you because you have been brain washed by society to think that unless you have a male's attention, approval, and "heart" - you must not be worthy.
Let me tell you right now that the best way for you to move on with your life and quit crying over this guy, is to focus all of your attention on YOU! Enroll in a class at the recreation center, or join a gym, volunteer to help someone, raise money for a good cause, write a book, do extra credit in school, get a new hobby...do SOMETHING that improves YOU! Get your confidence up so you can look in the mirror and think "OMG! Any guy would be so lucky for me to like him. But who NEEDS one anyway?!"
When you get this attitude (not stuck up - just CONFIDENT), you will be amazed with the number of guys lined up to EARN your attention.
A guy doesn't "complete you." YOU complete YOU. The guy is just lucky to get your attention.
When I first started dating Mr. S, I hadn't finished my degree, I was in a low paying job, and I was crazy over him! One day, I finally asked him where our relationship was going and he told me that he'd never marry me because I didn't seem to have it together. He wasn't breaking up with me, he just didn't see a future. So why waste my time? I still saw him, but suddenly, he didn't mean as much to me. So I finished my degree, landed a killer job, and quit worrying about him. He proposed shortly after I moved on and "got it together" and we've been together ever since.
Respect yourself and then GUYS will respect you too! THAT's the key to getting any guy you want!
Believe it! Learn it! Live it!
So the last thing you asked me was "any ideas on maybe trying to get him back?..or just getting over him."
My recommendation is to GET OVER HIM and fall in love with YOU! Odds are, you'll end up getting him back but seeing that he really wasn't worthy of you to begin with!
Let me know what happens.
Love, Mrs S

4. where the overall length to just goes past my shoulders.

thanku luv rach xxx (link)

Disregard the woman, I love the hair, I would recommend this, I use to have this hair style and I thought it looked beautiful both strait and curly, it gave my face more figure and it made it appear bigger. Its beautiful in a pony tail, and its right at your shoulders. I dont know if you like my choice, but I'm sorry. I tried. I hope I helped.

What's the best way to keep your period from leaking through you pants? I wear 2 underwear and a pad and it still leaks through. (link)
|
hey,
there are many different ways that you can stop this, make sure that you keep changing your pads frequently, usually every 3-4 hours. if this still doesnt work then perhaps you should buy some pads that are for a 'heavy' flow, these are usually bigger and absorb more. and if that still doesnt work i would suggest going to your doctor, they might be able to put you on the pill to make you period lighter and more comfortable for you.
hope this helps! Xx

I think I'm going gothic and I'm terrified of what's becoming of me. I dress like it now and I listen to the music. I LOVE the music and I HATE the rap. The only thing is I'm scared. I don't want to be one of those suicidal people that everyone is scared of but I can't go back to being a prep because then I wouldn't be myself. What do I do!? (link)
|
Listening to a different type of music or dressing different from other people isnt going to make you be suicidal, not all goths are suicidal. Only 1 out of 27 goths are suicidal, but below I found you a page with a little research on goths! It shows SOME stereotypes of Goths sorta close to the bottom, they do not apply to all so dont be worried. An just be yourself no matter what. Okay.
Hope I helped!

my friend asked the guy i like to go w/ me to this thing and yesterday she was like did u talk to her he said no and then she asked him if he was gonna go and he said i had to ask him myself my thing is tho im soooooooo shy and i kno i can ask but im scared! not necessarily of rejection just scared in general of whats gonna happen cuz im a really cautious person and you know how they say throw caution to the wind? well not that easy for me is it ok to be scared? im so stressed over this i dont know waht to do please help! (link)
|
Trust me, I understand what you mean about the whole, "not easy to throw caution to the wind thing". I am really cautious also, and I get stressed out over things like this.
Unfortunately, I can only tell you that sometimes you have to just stop thinking about it so much. Bring it up casually instead of charging right to the point. If he didn't say "no" outright to your friend, that could be a good sign. Maybe he's just nervous and needs to hear it from you that you wanted to know if he would go to the thing.
It's fine to be scared, or nervous over something like this. If you really like him then you may just have to try and get up the courage to ask him out. Otherwise, you may miss the oppurtunity and have to question yourself about what COULD have happened.
I know I'm making it sound easy, but I know it's not. I'm just trying to help you see what could happen if you don't do something now.
If you need to talk, I'll be there.

So I posted a couple recent posts about what happend. And I think it's best if he and I go our seperate ways. I mean I love him and want to stay with him. But we are two different. We have different views on religion, and kids and hes younger, so we're really not on the same maturity level. Mom read some of our conversations and shes like Britt he's crazy. You need out of this. So I'm going to post some stuff and I want to know if he is.

i think you should tell him that you need time apart. you think he is getting way to controlive and you think you are better off at being friends for a little while. tell him that maybe in a couple of years , after he has settled down, you can try it again, that is if you want to and then go ur seperate ways he might say shit about you but dont let it get to you have all your numbers changed and dont answer the door for him or no one seen with him. i know this, it has happened to me
hope i helped

I'm going to tell it like it is. I'm not bragging or dramatizing anything.
I am a 13-year-old girl and I am...well...pretty smart. I thought I was doing well and I really like school, but for some reason, I am doing really bad according to my last progress report...D's and F's with a few A's. I know I can do better. I was in montessori for 2nd grade and 5th grade and I really liked it. My mom thinks it's an 'organization' problem, but that seems like she's calling me a slacker. Once I went into middle school (I am in 8th grade right now), everything started going downhill. I love my school, teachers, and friends, but I am considering switching, after my mom said, "Maybe there's another way to teach you.". I've researched on Google, and there are no montessori highschools (at least in my state). It is quite impossible to be homeschooled. I am wondering what other types of schools are out there for me besides one of those "bad kid" boarding schools. Thanks for reading! (link)
| |
Not all boarding schools are for kids with behavior problems. In fact alot of private boarding schools are really amazing. So don't count them out because of a reputation you've heard.

ok mrs. s.
i dont know you, but you seem really nice.
i need advice. i cant really talk about this with anyone else.
theres this guy ive liked for a really long time. but he likes anohter girl who happens to be one of my best friends, im not completely sure he likes her but i think he does.
how can i change that or let him know i like him? (link)
|
This is a tough problem. You can't really FORCE someone to like you enough to be your bf or gf but you CAN make them like you MORE than they do NOW. Was that confusing?
People don't chose who they like. It's kindof a natural thing that happens. But here are some things you can do to make you seem a lot more interesting to him...
1. NEVER talk about yourself unless he asks questions. Sometimes people think "Well if he knew me better, he'd like me..." This is NOT true. People like you because of the way they feel about themselves when they are WITH you.
So think about that for a second...
2. Ask about HIM. What sports does he like, who are his favorite teams, what does he want to do when he grows up? What college does he wish he could go too...etc. Don't make it seem like you are giving him the third degree - just get him to talk about HIMSELF. I know this sounds strange to you right now - but TRY it! When people feel like you are interested in them - for some magical reason, it makes YOU seem more interesting to them! And don't just ask questions - be interested in it! If he says he loves country music and you hate it - ask him what he likes about it. Tell him you would love to learn more about country music but you have no clue how to get started. Make HIM feel like he is someone that can HELP you or GUIDE you. Guys LOVE feeling like he is smarter than a girl (just ask Jessica Simpson how well this "dumb" thing works)
3. NEVER put down your friend or be negative about anything. People enjoy POSITIVE people. Negative people tend to push people away without even realizing they are doing it.
4. NEVER tell him you like him before he tell you he likes YOU! Guys want to be the one that chases. Most guys HATE pushy or agressive girls. They feel like that should be THEIR role. I know it's hard but let him think this "relationship" is HIS idea - not yours.
5. This is KEY - GET HIS FRIENDS TO LIKE YOU! If the friends like you - they will "sell" you without even realizing they are doing it! Guys (and Girls too) really need the approval of their friends when they "like" someone. If you have the support of the friends and his/her family, the relationship has a much better chance at being successful!
I have a few more tips but try those and let me know how it works out for you. I think you will be really happy with the results.
Also, You actually have a "part 2" to your question...."Your Friend"
You never mentioned if she liked him too. I hate seeing anybody put something above their friendships. So think carefully about this before you pursue it. If you have her blessing - then this will be much easier on you and everybody concerned.
Please keep me posted. Especially since I don't know you. I like to hear what works and what doesn't. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help you and Good Luck! Much Love, Mrs S

is it normal to feel like you don't belong in your family cauze thatz how i feel but is it normal (link)
| |
Teens often feel that they have nothing in common with their family members. I do all the time.. I mean, my dad, mom and brother are so into sports and everything like that; I'm the opposite. And at family get-togethers I feel so left out because all my cousins are really young. So yes, you are normal. But if the situation is getting way out of hand, you may want to talk to someone you trust or even a school councellor. :)
