Okay, I'm 14, and I know I have a lot of growing to do in the future, but I'm wondering.
Both my generations before me (my grandmother, + my mom and her sisters [my aunts]) have big boobs, they're all have D+ sizes.
Now, being about a little over 14 and a half, i fit B36 in womens (not juniors, in juniors i'm a 36/38C).
So what i'm wondering is, do boobs grow like from jeans of your mother, or is it all just a within your body sort of thing?
Thanks in advance. :] (link)

Your boobs will grow to what is within your body there is nothing you can do about that .. other then depending on what you want there is breast reduction surgeries and breast implants to make them bigger

I've heard that if you get a sunburn, and you put sunscreen on wherever you got sunburned, it makes your sunburn turn into a tan. I've tried that before and it never worked.
My question is: is there any way to make a sunburn turn into a tan? Are there any special things to use? How long does it take to work?
Thank you! (link)

I have heard that applying brown vinigar not only takes the sting out but helps to turn it into a tan

Im 16 and im getting a used car for my birthday. my parents are looking at this 2000 Vtec Acura. Is the Vtec model a good brand? (link)
|
Vtec is a marketing gimmick used by honda. what it really means is that it's a twin camshaft engine. to explain it better is easier said than done.
in an engine there are pistons. these pistons are moved upward and downward by combustion. all of the pistons are attatched to a device known as a crankshaft. the crankshaft is turned by the belts in the engine initially. then once ignition is made the pistons contiue turning the crankshaft. but how does ignition happen. above the pistons are valves. in most cars these days it's two to four valves over the pistons. some of the valves are intake valves, some are exhaust valves.
the intake valves open and let in a mixture of gasoline and air that is compressed and ignited by two things. the piston (which rises and presses the gas and air against the bottom of the valves) and the sparkplugs which let out a tiny spark into the gasoline and air. now what happens when you mix a spark and gasoline in a pressurized chamber? it explodes. it explodes and sends the piston back down. and at this point the exhaust valves open up and let out the leftover carbon monoxide that happens after the chemical reaction of burning gasoline and oxygen. and the cycle constantly repeats itself over and over as the car drives.
but where do the camshafts come in? well the camshafts are metal rods that have various round lobes at certain points down the length. usually the lobes have an even spacing between each other and this allows them to do their job. each lobe is attatched to the intake and exhaust valves. and the camshafts turn opening and closing the valves as you drive. on a twin cam engine though you have two cams instead of one. so one cam is devoted to intake valves another to exhaust. so the V-tec system is simply that. an engine with two camshafts. thus making it a faster and more efficient engine. and now you know.

What kind of engine is in a lamberguinie?

every answer before mine is wrong. lamborghini uses a V12 engine in their top of the line model the murcielago. it is coupled with the four wheel drive system they gained when audi bought them and allows for a lot of torque steer and understeer. the lamborghini murcielago uses a V10 engine which audi uses in their lemans car the R8 (which is slated to be a production car in 2007) now both cars have a lot of power but if you're going for a super car buy a ferrari or pagani. they're much better cars.
oh and to the doofus who claimed a V12 to be a "POWERFUL!" engine you're wrong as well. go look at the jaguar XJ12. jaguar has been using V12's in their cars since the 1960's and yes they can make a powerful engine. jaguar's most powerful engines are their inline six cylinders and their V8's. the V12 or double six is a big brawny cruising engine used in large grand tourers.
i love the misinformation that goes around amongst people who think they know about cars. i've been working on em all my life, and i can tell you all. ya'll have a lot to learn.

For my 16th birthday I'm either getting a RX 8 or a Mustang GT but I can't decide which one. Is there anyone here that knows about cars that can tell me a little about both and which one is better? I looked online but I just found what each car came with. I want to know more about performance and I can't get to a car dealership until over a week.
Also, I need opinions on color. If I get the Mustang, I either want that green color it comes in (kind of like a dark lime metallic green) or black. If I get the RX 8 I either want black, silver, or dark metallic pink (special order). Thanks.

go for the mustang. the RX8 uses mazda's twin rotor renesis engine. it's not that rotary engines are bad, they really aren't. it's just you sound like someone who doesn't know much about engine work. especially engine work on a rotary.
see a rotary engine works on the principle that fuel is injected into a laterall mounted cylinder. and inside said cylinder are two rotors that spin in a counter clockwise motion igniting fuel and allowing for back pressure to be built up on the rear differential thus pushing the car forward. it is an ingenious idea invented by an engineer named felix wankel. who wanted to design a new way to run a car on less fuel but generate more power. the engine also is better aspirated, but the problems begin as soon as the list of good things ends. the rotary engine is fragile, is powerful but at the same time problematic. having worked on an older mazda RX-7 (what the RX-8 is based on) and the engine was albeit a great idea in principle. it was hard to work on, and parts were cheap but even with the low part cost you still have to literally relearn all the work you thought you knew inorder to get it working. the mechanics of the RX's rotary engine are good in principle and on paper but for me i would not want one for a daily driver, let alone a first car. they're much too flimsy and unreliable a build for someone who doesn't know what they're doing under the hood.
the mustang GT however would be a less fuel efficient buy. but ford offers a nice warranty on it, a lower overall cost, and granted it has a suspension setup that is outdated it does have more power and offers a more enjoyable ride especially if you get the six speed manual option. but based on the fact that you sound like a girl (and a spoiled one) you probably wont want a manual as you'd actually have to drive the car and not just do like most other teenage girls and goof around behind the wheel and get in random accidents. the mustang is the better buy.
your parents are spending far too much money on you for a first car. most people wreck their first car and wreck it pretty badly. and that's not just me talking that's a known fact that most people wreck the first car they own. for you i'd suggest a volvo S90 simply because it's a good solid safe car and good for a beginning driver because it's a brick on wheels. and your parents wont have to pay out of their ass for the car nor would they have to pay out of their ass to insure an irresponsible teenage driver. this is said in no way to insult you but to help you in realizing that a sports car for a first car is a bad idea especially since younger less experienced drivers are more likely to wreck and damage the car. and why damage a quality sports car? especially when a sports car is smaller, less safe, more likely to get totalled, more likely to result in your injury, and will cost a ton of money to insure. get a volvo, you'll thank me later.

It was the night of my year 11 prom n i was a bit tipsy so i slow danced with a boy who has fancied me like mad for about two years. Then when it came to the end of the evening i said bye, went home and thought nothing of it. He then started textin me n sayin that he loved me n that he wished the dance didn't have to finish. But because i was "slightly tipsy" i got in on the act and started flirtin with him, so he then thought that i fancied him. Then the next time i saw him was at a mates party and ayou do at a party i was a bit drunk and he asked me to go out with him.And i said yes. For some unknown reason. This was three weeks ago and he constantly texts me sayin he loves me n he tells me to my face that he loves me but i just don't feel the same way about him. How can i tell him that i don't like him as a boyfriend but just as a mate, without making it sound too harsh? plz help! (link)

Dear Friend,
Stop being a baby. Take responsibility for your own drunken actions. If you don't like him, tell him you were an idiot and break up with him!
Honestly..

i am having a birthday party and my mom would like me to tell her what to make for a brunch. But..really i have no clue what to have!! Does anyone have any really good foods they like for brunches? i will rate! thanks in advance. (link)
|
Dear Friend,
It all depends on your personal preference. Brunch is such a marvelous combination.. What's your favourite food for breakfast, and what's your favourite food for lunch? There lies your answer!
I'd go for pancakes or pikelets, bacon and eggs, and big platters of fresh fruit. Tea, coffee and juice to drink.
Love, and happy birthday,
Ainsley.

Dear Friend,
"Looking for Alaska" by John Green sounds like your bag. It follows the story of a group of boarding school kids who get caught up in all sorts of mischief. Pretty philosophical, it confronts suicide, it's dark but humerous.

This is mostly for girls I guess..... I went camping a while back and meet this really nice guy and we hit it off immediately...but at the point I didn't think about it. when i got home he had left me a message basiclly telling me that he really liked me and he wanted to hook up while we were camping. After a while of getting to like and know this guy, I realize that i am too young for him and we live to far away from eachother to have a relationship. The same day I told him this he gets a girlfriend. My friends say that I shouldn't talk to him and I should give him the cold shoulder, but I don't know what I'm going to do because he is coming down (a 2 hr drive) to see me, should I see him and be friends with him or should I call the trip off for him?
Sry bout length (link)
|
Dear Friend,
Interesting situation.
Don't be so childish about it - you like the guy, he's putting himself out to come see you, and you're mates. It's unfair of you to be mad that he got together with someone else after you made it clear you two weren't going anywhere. What else would you expect? For him to sit around pining for you?
You don't need to be boyfriend/girlfriend to have a relationship. Be friends! This way, at the very least, you're keeping your options open for the future. As you get older, age gaps become far less significant, and if you like him enough, it won't matter.
Love,
Ainsley.

Dear Friend,
It's great to see someone taking initiative in their studies - you have the right attitude for an A-student.
- Study in a place with plenty of light, a comfortable chair, enough storage space, few distractions, and all the materials you'll need.
- Keep a bottle of water on hand and take regular sips. Water keeps the brain hydrated, and can improve focus when studying.
- Be attentive. Focus on what your teacher is saying. Try not to daydream and let your mind wander to other things. It helps to sit in the front and center of the class, and to maintain eye contact with your teacher.
- Have a peppermint in your mouth when studying. As strange as it may sound, it clears your nasal passage for fresh air. More fresh air means more oxygen to the brain, which helps with memory.
- Use your date planner. Record when things are due, and when you plan to achieve them. Even telling yourself that things are to be submitted before they actually are will force you to complete them on time. It also allows additional time for editing and kicking back!
- After every shower, write at least one fact with your finger on the foggy mirror. Not only will you be forced to recall it, but the fact should reappear next time the mirror gathers steam. Spooky. Do do do do.
- Colours and shapes work in your favour. Write notes on coloured post-its and leave them around your room. Circling and highlighting can also allow you to retain information longer.
Love,
Ainsley.

ok i am 14 and my ex is 15 i was out of town for like a month so i stop call him because it was longdistance when i came back i was online and i IM him and we talk i told him i love him and i said ok and then he said he met a gurl at a party and she ask he to go out wit her he said yes i was so pissed .now he tells me he wants me and i constantly remind him he has a gurl .i tryed to move on it just did not work .he wants to have sex wit me and i went over his house he was flirting wit me and i had a lot of fun but i really ,truly want him back my question is how do you get someone back you truly love???????
thanks in advance (link)
|
Dear Friend,
Are you blind? This boy is using you. Sounds like you're still friends, but he doesn't deserve anything more. You shouldn't be the one worrying about how to get him back - he should be begging you. Give it time. You're still young, and soon you'll see that there is more to a relationship than this type of behaviour.
Don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't want to. Your body, your call.
Love,
Ainsley.

Does anyone know how to put on liquid eye liner? when i try to do it, it always ends up going into my eye or it smears! =[ (link)
|
Dear Friend,
Your best tools are a steady hand and a quality brand of eye liner. Start from the inner-most corner of your eye and follow the lash line out, keeping your eye wide open. When applying to the top lid, keep your eye firmly closed, and gently pull the lid outward to make a taut base. This should help to eliminate smearing.
Apply eye makeup prior to any under-eye concealer or foundation, so that if accidents do happen, you won't ruin your work. Keep cotton buds and makeup remover on hand for situations such as these.
Practise makes perfect.
Love,
Ainsley.

a couple days ago i got bit on my chin by this HUGE bug. the bite is huge. its this juicy circle and it has a scab over it. then the scab will like fall off and a new one comes on and its so ugly. RIGHT ON MY FACE. how can i cover this up or make it go away faster? (link)
|
Dear Friend,
My recommendation is teatree or Vitamin E oil. These soothe and heal wounds while fighting bacteria - the same type of thing as pimple gel.
Any type of concealer should cover the bite, but if the wound is still open, filling it with makeup wouldn't be your best go. If you really need to cover it, look for a green-based concealer. This will combat any redness the bite has caused and give you more even coverage.
Love,
Ainsley.

Why is it that so many girls freak out about their boobs being too small? I see so many questions about girls who think that because they have small boobs, they won't get any guys. That is not true at all.
But that really isn't the issue, I guess. I myself have quite the chest. I'm a 38 D, and still growing somewhat. It is painful sometimes, especially around periods, and frustrating, because it is near impossible to find shirts that fit, or decent bras.
So when I see these girls who think their lives are over because they are 16 and they aren't Jessica Rabbit, it makes me angry. They have no idea what larger chested women have to deal with! To me, it seems they have it easy. They don't have to worry about aching backs, or not being able to wear a beautiful shirt or dress because it is too tight at the bust, or too loose everywhere else.
How can I keep from being so angry with them? I know that they don't understand, and I know it isn't worth fussing over, but I just can't help it.
Thank you all so much! (link)

Well, I guess that some wish for bigger breasts because we were born into a society where we learn that big breasts are attractive. I'm 13, 5 feet even, and I only wear a training bra. I know, sad. Everyone is upset over one feature of their body. It is hard to find someone who is truly happy about everything about themselves.
I think the only way for you to not get mad at them is just to ignore them. And why get mad at them? They're, I mean we are still teenagers. We have a lot to learn. I don't really let the size of my chest take over my life. Everyone else who complains about their small chest will learn.
Hope I helped!
P.S.- Who's Jessica Rabbit?

Does anyone know any good hair removal products for the bikini line area? I hate shaving and I use Nair right now but it doesn't get rid of all the hair. I need good products that won't irritate it and will actually work well. If you suggest waxing, how much does it hurt and what does it cost? (link)

go with waxing. even though it hurts a lot, after you wax 2-3 times, its not painful very much. i would say sally hansen waxing home products. all home wax products are about 10 dollars
