what happened to nancy
kim: empty inside
annies baby
those are sort of like diaries of actual people,
go ask alice is about a girl who deals with drugs, what happened to nancy is about a girl who is raped and gets AIDS, kim: empty inside is about a girl with an eating disorder, and annies baby is about a girl who gets pregnant and is 14. and they are all really good books. "Looking for Alaska" by John Green sounds like your bag. It follows the story of a group of boarding school kids who get caught up in all sorts of mischief. Pretty philosophical, it confronts suicide, it's dark but humerous.

"shattering glass" was also good but it's not super girly or anything like that. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
