my best friend is scared of the dark. i can't get to sleep when i spend the night at her house because she keeps all the lights on in her room and i just cant fall asleep. so when she hits the hay... i quietly go to the light switch and turn the lights off. as soon as i do that she wakes up and starts crying! what to do???

compromise with her. maybe you coule put on a night light but if thats not enough then maybe if your sleeping next a bathroom you could put that light on. if she doesnt agree theres always those things you put on your eyes. :)

its kind of hard to do, becaues not everone puts their emails out. but if they have a aim screen name, then lets say their name was abc12345, then there email would be abc12345@aim.com . orr, if you know if they have a yahoo messenger thing, its the same thing, but abcd12345@yahoo.com

Does anyone know of any good bands/song I can put on my iPOD? I'm getting tired of all the bands I have. I'm mostly into indie/rock/acoustic/some ska/oldies.
I like Death Cab, The Postal Service, The Audition, The Higher, Panic!, Further Seems Forever, Dashboard Confessional, Hidden in Plain View, Taking Back Sunday etc. Preferably bands that you know and that aren't on the radio. (link)

Seeing someone means that you're going out with someone. I guess you can see other people, deciding if your partner would let you cheat on him, but most partners won't do that.

DangerNerd is the owner of the site. It never used to be him, it used to be someone else, but then the original owner, who I think was Spacefem or something like that couldn't deal with it. So now DangerNerd owns this. He's also a Level 4 moderator, which never even existed until he came along. He's DangerWrench's husband, and he's a nice guy, who wants to make this site a better place.

I got my period on thursday, it was heavy on thursday and friday. and medim on saturday. then, yesterday (sunday) i didn't have it at all except for a little late last night. Then today I had absolutly NONE of it and then at 9:45 pm I got some... and it was like medium. Is that normal? Does it mean I'm still on my period? (link)

I know that this sounds like a lot but i bleed normal and i use about 15 each period cause i bleed for 5 days to and i have normal bleeding so but it really depends on how much you bleed in each period well GOODLUCK !!!

ok. i have 2 best friends who i've been inseperable from since like 4th grade (one of them though since like kindergarten). and now i'm going into highschool. we're always together, (most of the time lol) i can tell them anything, we have so many laughs and fun times together, and i can totally be myself around them, which is great because i'm really shy. but last year, well technically still this year..lol 8th grade.. the one who i haven't been friends with since kindergarten..lets call her Jen. well Jen has been occasionally telling me some stuff about the other friend "Rachel" about how she annoys her sometimes, and stuff like that. ok so i was just talking to my friend Jen online. and this is sort of what she tells me:
she was like: no offense because i know you are really good friends with Rachel but i really dont like hanging out with her. then she gives me all these reasons why. she also telling me that she thinks Rachel has become conceited, and gave me a reason. "she just like acts immature sometimes and tries to be funny when she's not" thats also something she said. "like I'll be her friend and everything.but i definitely don't want to hang out with her a lot in highschool"
so my question is. do you think it is right of her to say this? we're supposed to be BEST FRIENDS, yet she's saying all this shit behind Rachel's back. i don't want our friendship to just die, i mean i have the greatest times with these two girls. high school will be a huge change and we'll make new friends and everything but i don't want it to completely tear apart our friendship. idk i just can't believe she's saying this because i feel like i have the best times when all 3 of us are together and now if Jen doesn't want to hang out with Rachel it will never be the same. what should i do/say to her? do you think it was right of her to say this? if you want the reasons of why Jen said what she said then give me your email and i'll tell you. thank you. this happens to me a lot with my friends. I just get sick of them and complain about them but then i get over it. just let your two friends have their space and soon "jen" will probably become friends with rachael again.

Well, I think you should do what your first answerer said, you know, text messaging, talking on the phone. Also, explain to them your situation, why you can't skip a day, how much you care about them. Tell them that when you finish your working month, you'll be back with them. If they are true friends, they will still hang out with you when you're done working, and treat you the same, and you'll be happy with them. But for now, just keep in touch with them at night, through the internet.
