seeing someone?

what does it mean when you're seeing someone? does that mean you're with the person but then you're allowed to date other people?

Honestly, I think that could mean different things to different people. Usually it means that you are in a relationship with the person and you should be keeping it exclusive, but different people use the phrase in different ways, so if you have a question about it for a relationship that you are in, your best bet is to talk to your partner and ask what they mean by it.

that means you go out with the person. Your seeing that person, you can't say that your seeing someone if you don't go out with him.

seeing someone is basically the same as going out with someone. they mean the same thing. whether or not youre allowed to date other people is up to the couple =)

Seeing someone means that you're going out with someone. I guess you can see other people, deciding if your partner would let you cheat on him, but most partners won't do that.
