Me and this girl have been best friends since the first grade. And we haven't talked to each other in two years. Now we have reunited and started talking on the phone. I sent her an e-mail and asked her if we were still best friends, she said no, maybe, maybe not. Then she said she had 3 best friends. And she is acting so careless about it. Like she doesn't care about how I feel about the situation. What should I do?

ASKxKATiEx3 answered Monday June 26 2006, 10:00 pm: well, if you talked to her in two years, she probably has made at least a few new best friends. she probably doesn't realize how important she is to you. talk to her about how you're glad you guys are in touch again, & how you think since you've been friends since first grade, you probably deserve to be one of her bffs. remember to tell her how much you CARE about her ! good luck ! ::♥:: katie [ ASKxKATiEx3's advice column | Ask ASKxKATiEx3 A Question ]
summerGIRL_xo answered Monday June 26 2006, 8:16 pm: give it time. it will take time before you become best friends again. also, there's no limit to how many best friends you can have, and she should know that. having another one doesn't hurt the relationship with her other's. anyway, what i would do is instead of asking her about it, just continue to talk to each other and hang out and eventually, if you clique, you will become closer again. remember - best friends don't HAVE to tell each other they're best friends, they just know. and you will know if this girl becoems one of your best friends again. goodluck!
