well it is a very sensative spot and you have just started shaving so your skin is not used to it. try using a razor and shaving cream for sensative skin.

ew, ew, i hate this word but it might be a...
yeast infection.
simple fix.
go to the grocery store//walgreens//eckerds//whatever and they have certain creams that fix it. because you've been shaving it's been exposed to more...so get the stuff and get better.

ok so i read an answer for this the other day and i have some tricks that work magic:
*trim before you shave
*be in the shower for 10 minutes before you shave
* put lotion on after
*put hydrocortisone (sp) cream on after
and for your bikini line, put on gel deoderant to prevent bumps.
i've tried this the last few times and it works! <3

It sounds like the discharge is probably just a coincidence. Sometimes the body just produces more than normal. However, if it starts to produce an offensive odour or becomes discoloured at all, make sure you see a doctor.

The itching is perfectly normal, with or without the red marks, as it is caused by the hair growing back. Because that part of the body is sensitive and the hair is very course, the regrowth can badly irritate the area, causing a terrible itching. There is not a lot to do about this unfortunately, but you should make sure you use an unfragranced moisturising lotion twice a day when the hair is growing back, which may help to ease it a little.
