14/f.whenever i try to fall asleep, it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep. even if i'm tired i still can't seem to fall asleep. i always remember all of the things that i forgot to do at night. i just can't seem to turn my mind off. i also can never seem to get comfortable. help! this is driving me crazy! listening to calming music is a good way, but sometimes it can make the problem worse. perhaps the bed that you are sleeping on is too 'hard' or too 'soft' this can also disturb your sleeping pattern. i have always believed that if you have a relaxing bath (try to stay away from showers as they will wake you up rather than make you sleepy) light some candles generally create a relaxing environment. you can also buy a number of lavender room sprays, these sprays will almost always make you feels sleepy, it is a well known fact that anything that has a lavender scent is relaxing and peaceful

14/f. i have this problem where i can't do anything by myself. like i can't go into a store by myself, because i feel so uncomfortalbe and like everyone is staring at me and watching me. i always have to have my mom come in the store with me. but then i feel embarrassed to be with my mom! help! i'm going crazy because what ever i do i feel uncomfortable.
its not that i don't love my mom, because i do! i love being with her, but then i get embarrassed shopping with my mom. so what can i do? (link)

I understand exactly what you're talking about. I feel the same way sometimes.
If you feel uncomfortable, you can invite a friend to go with you. This way, you're not shopping by yourself, and you learn to block out the other people, by just concentrating on your friend, and what you guys are talking about.
Eventually, you might start feeling comfortable enough to go shopping by yoursekf, by just blocking everything else out. Don't worry about the other people, even if it feels like their staring, they're probably not. For all you know, they're thinking everyone is staring at them too.
Besides, unless they're people who go to your school, when are you ever really going to see them again?

im a female thats 14.I know a guy named robert that I knew since 4th grade.He's my bestfriend and I really care about him.Near the beginning of 5th grade I found out from one of his friends that he really likes me.Robert didnt know his friend told me and he didnt want me to know...yet.I just acted like I never knew he liked me and nothing changed.
A year later robert and i got to go to the same m-school,and we started to hang around more.robert was really shy for some reason and people started to tease for that.I stuck up for him and people stopped cause i was one of those people that every one called `popular`.he started to like me even more and he finally got the courage to ask me out.I said yes cause i started to like him too.
Now 2 more years later wich is right now weve been going out since then.I find out he's cheating on me with some bitch.and then i find out its true.I break up with him and tell him i dont even want to be his friend.he is pretty emotional so i find out from one of his guy friends that he was crying in the bathroom.im one of those people that hate when people cheat but im also a nice person that hates to see people cry.he ends up going to my house after school and begging for me to forgive him.i tell him ill think about it.now should i forgive him or not? Tell him how you feel. Obviously, he's telling you how he feels, and concentrating on his own point of view.
Tell him how he hurt you, and that he'll have to try and get your trust back, but that you forgive him [if you do forgive him]. If not, explain why you can't. If you can, then just say what comes to your mind.
If you end up being friends with him again, and you didn't really forgive him, you're still going to hold this against him. But, if you do forgive him, you'll be able to get past it, and maybe you guys can slowly re-build your friendship.

I have no motorcycle experience and just now I started taking lessons to get my license and after that I am going to buy a bad ass bike. A buell Ulysses 1.2. It is not a street bike,yet it is fast.I am so excited and I cant stop talking about it to pretty much every person I meet. Problem is, that every person tells me that since I dont have no experience I am going to die. I am afraid they are jinxing me, if there is such a word. I am willing to be extra carefull in every way.
Everybody is suggesting that I should take a small scooter or something but I think that they are dangerous since they dont have the power (acceration is safety) nor the the braking performance. I will not buy I small engine displacement bike. (link)

i rode dirtbikes as a kid, and i rode ATV's off and on for a while. then when i was old enough to get a motorcycle license i went for it. only to have my grandpa who's been a dealer at meyer's harley davidson in montgomery alabama for years tell me that someone with as little experience as me should start small. and i've always been a good size guy, but he put me right on the seat of a 1985 honda nighthawk 650CC. she was enough for me, and i learned how to ride on that bike. now the fact is you need to start small and work your way up. there is no way someone with no experience should be buying a buell, hayabusa, ducati, or any other super bike. i'm sorry but if you don't know anything about bikes, or about riding you will kill yourself on one of those little zippy crotch rockets.
i suggest starting small. an old triumph, honda (non CBR), or older suzuki would be a good safe bet. motorcycles are about like cars. i wouldn't give someone who just got their license a ferrari. they would wreck it and i'd be out $200,000 dollars. just like i wouldn't give someone who just passed the course to get a biking license a ducati 999. to go from just learning the basics to riding something that only professionals should be handling is not a smart choice. something that weighs 425 pounds and has 105 horsepower is going to be a bit too fast for a beginner. i reccommend a kawasaki vulcan 800 for a good starter... or a nice and trusty honda nighthawk heh

Dude, alright i live in missouri and I went to a walgreens to purchase some condoms and i am 15. so i was at the check out and the lady said "i'm not going to sell these to you" and i said "uhm lady why not?" and she said "you are too young to be having sex and im not gunna sell these to you" then she put it in the bag to be put back on the shelf...so yah is that legal? (she lectured me for about a 1/2 hr on the subject so please dont lecture me as well

technically it's all based on your state's jurisdiction on such. but in most states things like that are legally available to anyone with the money to purchase them as: A it keeps disease down. B it keeps teen pregnancy down. and C it helps to get more people to practise safe sex. now i don't know what the laws in missouri are but i know here in texas it's legal to buy them at just about any age as the state condones safe sex in the hopes of not having another underage family on welfare taking tax dollars. i think she was just being a bitch to you. but i also think you need to figure out the law in that state, and fuck take her to court and sue walgreens you could be a millionaire if you do that one. cause i think granted you're underage, you do have a case here.

when i was 12 i noticed the hair on my arm was growing and there was more of it, so i figured i could get rid of it the same way i get rid of my leg hair, by shaving it. Well I did and I regret it now because the hair keeps growing back darker and thicker and I have to keep shaving them since its so dark. Is there anything I can do to stop the hairs from growing in as dark and thick as they are? Or am I screwed for life? (link)

I've been shaving my arms for like, a year and haven't noticed any change in color or thickness. I guess it depends from person to person.
Anyway, this is what you do. Let the hairs grow out to at least 1/4 of an inch. After they grow out, get them waxed. Really, it will hurt but waxing doesnt cause your hairs to grow back thicker/darker.

i don't get what pushup bras are. like i know they make your boobs look bigger, but when i saw a picture of them, they just looked like normal bras. i know there're like sports bras and normal bras, and they just looked like normal bras. are there two diff types of bras that look like normal bras, or are they the normal bras?? Bras and push up bras are a little different.
A regular one just supports and shapes it.
A push-up bra pushes it up more, to make you look bigger.

I'm 14, just like you and I wear about a 34A. My friend is 3 years younger than me and going though puberty and I'm scared she'll outgrow me! For 1 and a 1/2 years, I've been a 32AA and 32A.
I'm probably going to be done growing...and I feel so flat...hate to look at them :(
there's no way you can tell you are done growing or not. You could grow another size up within the 4 years when you reach 18.
Padded bras make you a little more bustier but don't worry...ur not alone
Now...when I go to the prom...dresses! Like those girls who are bustier than I that can wear those strapless dresses...i won't be one of them

Your saying parents and family are "bust" and your not...not yet though; maybe.
Your boobs will fill out, one day. Guys won't be grossed out and if they only care about your beasts, tell them l8r. Don't waste your time on him. Many guys think small breasts are hot and some guys, don't care! Just don't worry about being small because you see small breast woman with guys, married, and children!

Padded bras aren't tacky. They support your breasts and they give shape. They do get sometimes pointy, lol.
I wear a padded bra and I'm a 34A. Some people want them to make them a little more fuller, right? Well, no matter how big you are, it's for shape and support.
I agree with you, bra companies expect us women to be Barbies!

It's fine to grew a whole cup size in only a few months.
You just grow and grow. Some people are late bloomers and then their boobs begin to grow so much.
You don't have to worry.
They will get a little bigger, but you might do not need a 40C or something...maybe

sorry if this is long but i really need advice ok i live with my dad, and i need to get bras, i need/want a cupped bra, but

Dad's are always there for you!!! The thing is, when it comes to woman-hood, you just can't ask them because you know...different gender and I'm not sure they've ever went shopping for themselves for bras, lol.

If you are younger, it's best to have maybe 3 or 4. Sometimes, girls like to wear one (clean) every day. There's no limit how much you need...just your budget and what your dad agrees to pay on.
Here's some ideas to get you going to buy some bras.
1. Ask your dad for some money for "Girl Stuff." He should totally understand!
2. When you are shopping, ask your dad if you can go to the lingerie...he should know what it means.
3. Ask your dad if he can drop you off and you can go buy your own bras and go try them on yourself without any dad there.
4. If you have an older sibling that's a girl, ask her to go take you; don't be embarrassed because they need it too.
5. Someone you trust, like an aunt (female though) would maybe take you!

Hair on your back and stomach is normal.
Are you a Female or male?
If you are a male: It makes sense for you too because many men have hairs going every which way. Don't feel embarrassed and be who you are!
If yuo are a female: My sister has the same and she is accepting who she is. You can't do anything really about it, because it'll grow back. Maybe you can shave it off, but just accept who you are, and someone will accept who you are...like your friends and your lover.

My opinion, is yes.
Too much make-up for a young 15 year old.
It's totally fine if you want to look mature and more adult like.
I'm only a year younger than you, and I only wear lipgloss and eyeshadow!
Maybe stop putting on lip liner and eye liner. The rest to me, is totally fine.
When you reach a little older, a few more years older, you can put all that stuff on.
You can also just stick to lipgloss, eye shadow, and mascara.

For the first day of school, wear the skirt; the skirt will look great on you! For the top, where something more fancier...if you know what I mean. Try to find something that doesn't have that kind of print.
The shoes you chose will look great with jeans, but not a skirt! Sandels, High heals, flip flops will look cute!

I'm 14/f and a freshman in Highschool. I was my first highschool dance the other night and tons of seniors wanted to grind with me. I didn't really mind cause I wasn't overdoing it. When a guy asks you, "Do you want to go somewhere else" or something related to that, there's a possibility that you'll be ending up doing sex.
You feel bad because maybe he didn't want to have sex, but just talk around with you. He also maybe wanted to do sex, but you didn't want to...many possibilites.
If you have another opportunity to be asked, "Do you want to go somehwhere else?" You can say yes, but be aware where you going. When you somewhere, try to see you are near people, just in case. Don't go into a room where there's a lock too.
You maybe would've done if you went and he wanted sex, you probably began slow and ended up maybe major...then you will loose your virinity...
All I can say it be careful when someone asks you that and don't feel guilty because you didn't do anything bad and you probably did something smart. :)
