pushup bra

Question Posted Saturday June 17 2006, 7:37 pm

13/f. I was bra-shopping for something strapless with my tube top, and I couldn't find anything that was 32A (damn...the bra companies expect everyone to look like Barbie!!!). The 34A was too loose, so I had to settle with the 34A pushup bra. What I need to know is, are padded bras stupid? I don't want to be tacky.

Padded bras aren't tacky. They support your breasts and they give shape. They do get sometimes pointy, lol.
I wear a padded bra and I'm a 34A. Some people want them to make them a little more fuller, right? Well, no matter how big you are, it's for shape and support.
I agree with you, bra companies expect us women to be Barbies!

:)

Dear Friend,

I remember this problem, and I hated it.

You've found the right look here: Always opt for a strapless bra to pair with a tube top; no one likes straps.

There's nothing wrong with wearing a push-up bra, especially when you're doing it for a reason, not for the attention. They aren't stupid or tacky - in this instance, wearing one is the sensible option.

Love your body,

Ainsley.

I personally don't think their tacky or anything but if someone else do they don't know unless you tell them right? Unless you go from having no chest to looking like Pamala Anderson lol But if you need help with finding a strapless bra for a 32A try stores like Victoria Secrets, Dillards, Kohls, JC Pennys or ask for a sales person to help you. Btw I hope you know this lol but (on mine at least) there are like 3 clips in the back to adjuct the tight ness have you tired that?

padded bras aren't stupid nor tacky, some girls think they are because alot have a bigger chest than most, so they don't have to deal with padding. A regular padded bra, with not too much, is fine & most can't tell. But don't overdo it with too much, otherwise people can tell easily.

Actually, sometimes padded bras do look kind of stupid. You know when you're out and you can TELL that a girl is wearing a padded bra? That looks super dumb. But if there's just enough padding JUST to add shape then yeah, that looks good.

Pushup bras, on the other hand are totally okay because they don't look fake. All they do is push your boobs up. If you have to wear a padded or pushup bra because a 34A is too small then definatly go with the push up.

Padded bras are not stupid they are sometimes even comforable. And padded bras make you have that round look and guys love the round look. They are also good for forming your boobs into a way that you like. I wear a padded bra and its comfortable and doesnt make my boobs look saggy or anything
