Q: I'm starting high school this year, I'm curious to know how much pressure there is to drink, smoke, and have sex. I know some of my good friends that have changed alot, but I also know tons of kids that haven't changed a bit! I have strong goals, I don't drink or smoke however I have taken part of sexual activity. Any tips to staying strong in high school? Most of my friends have drank or smoke, but none of them have pressured me. (its usually an if-you-want-to type of thing) Should I expect that to change alot?

Well I just finsihed my freshmen year in highschool. And honesly I didn't think it was that much differnet than middle school except there were really any clicks..you had friends in age from 13 to 18 which is cool. but as for the whole smoking drinking sex thing. I wasn't really "sucked into it" so to speak. I mean I'd heard people talking about parties and how this person gave head to this person but I wasn't involoved. But that's me. But my other friend however go sucked into it. She started hanging out with this girl who was I'm sorry to say a slut who drank and smoke. But as long as your keep your morals and "safe" friends close you'll be good. BUt theres not tha tmuch to worry about just remember you don't have to do anything you don't want to and if they start to make fun of you or anything just be like well your so drunk or high that you won't remember tonight. I will. Or the people having sex and crap they'll proably have and STD before the end high school and that'll ruin their life. or have a kid. so remember the out come of you choices.

Q: I recently got pregnant from having sex with some guy I met at a bar one night. I know. It was wrong of me, and I feel terrible. I am debating whether or not I should get an abortion. I know that this guy won't ever even consider being a father, and I don't know if I can handle a baby on my own. I've heard so many stories of single mothers going crazy. I don't know what to do! I'm so torn up inside!
Does anyone have any advice they are willing to give to me to help me make the right decision.

Well i'm only 15/f so I'm not sure if my point of view will help but i'll try. I don't think you should get an abortion. Sure having a baby will be alot of work and such but are you mentally and physically ready to handle such a huge life changing decision. And I'm not sure if this is possible but you could possibly place the child up for adoption and then keep in comon with the family and watch your child grow up whie you finish college. But I don't think the answer is abortion. And who knows maybe your strong enough to hand having a child. They're hard work at first but I'm sure it'd be worth it.

I'm not totally sure what your asking advice for but i can tell you that nothing has to change between you and your sister. shes still the same person you've known all your life. but when it comes to sexuality thats a hard thing to share with others. and possibly the reason she didn't tell you sooner was because she was lost/confused. or not sure of what she was feeling for other people. but just act normal around her. i'm sure the whole process is much harder for her because she will moslty loose a friend or two because of her choice to be Bi. and the last thing she needs is to loose a sister so my suggestion is just be there for her.

Well I'm 15 and I've been on my period for about a year and at first one week would be super heavy and then the next there'd only be a little. So don't worry its totallly normal your bodys still getting use to whats going on. and still today sometimes my flow veries. so i'm not sure if this is a probablem that you need to go to a doctor for. attucaly i don't think this is a problem at all. for right now its totally normal. so no worries your body's still getting use to all of it.

I can only count on myself for happiness. I have ONE friend and that's it. I used to be one of the stuck up, bitchy, ultra-popular girls but I decided I would rather be nice to people than look down on them.
Ever since I left them and tried to make friends, people have been looking down on ME and treating me horribly. I sit at home every weekend doing nothing.
I have exhausted my "new friend" options and am too involved with a select few sports and clubs to get any new hobbies.
Does this ever end? Any last advice? I know the easiest advice to give is "just be yourself", "make new friends" or "join a club" but really, it hasn't worked or is no longer possible at the this time. I am really looking for some deeper, more complex ideas.

Hmm... since your involoved in a few clubs as a few of the girls/boys your closer with to hang out sometime or do something with you. Sometimes when you wanna make new friends you have to make the first move. Or in class talk to new people and ask them if the want to hang out and thats how i know alot of people make new friends is just going to the mall with a classmate and getting to know eachoter.

I'm not totally sure what you could use to remove the hair and I don't konw if you've tired this or just don't like it but you could bleach the hair on your lip so people don't see it unless its like in the perfect light and the p;erfect angle.

When you have a cold (with coughing and runny noses) that affects you ears, nose and mouth. At lest I'm pretty sure their all connected with the sinuses and whatnot. But I'm pretty sure its just since you have a cold your sinusu are all off wack so its making your ear feel weird but if your cold goes away and your muffled ear doesn't then I'd tell your parents or see a doctor. But I wouldn't worry too much untill your cold goes away.

Well..you could talk about his teasing you. Just be like gosh don't you even stop teasing me I mean really, its not a nice thing to do. And then just kinda make fun of him a little and hopeuflly the conversation should continue from there and so on. Yes
Go down to the tool bar right click..properties..then make sure the tab up at the top is on task bar. Then you should see a picture of your tool bar check boxes in a box that says task bar apperaence. Well then check the box that says "Show Quick Launch" On mine it the last one. Before you see anothe picutre of your tool bar and a new box.
