SuperDuperJess answered Saturday January 27 2007, 12:48 pm: food is a good idea, but sometimes in shops (food shops) you can get this bigish cake in a heart shape and you can write a message on it to say possible how much you love him. This also comes with some small heart shaped sweets. Another idea is some smellys, like Hugo Boss or something like that. You should consider asking your parents what they think, but you will have to already told them that you are going out with....... who ever you are going out with. I am sure you will come up with something! If you need any more advice-DON'T HESITATE TO ASK ME!!! Good Luck!

Now it depends how much money and how long you guys have been together on how far you go all out for his b-day. Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 2 years and his 19th b-day was today. So I cooked him a dessert b-day cake because he never gets one and it was cookies-n-cream, his favorite. Then I made a spicy shrimp dinner because he loves spicy food and seafood. I also got tickets to see monster trucks the next day because they only costed 20 bucks a person and I snagged some free pit passes before the actual show. You could also try and find a band or something he likes if they are playing in concert in your area and take him. Or you could take him to a movie coming out that he wants to see. Maybe a new restaurant he has always wanted to try. Or maybe he likes to paintball, skateboard, swim, rockclimb? Find a recreational place near your area that has these kind of activities. Remember, it isn't how much you spend, but how much effort you put into making his b-day special. Best of luck hun and if you need anymore advice note my inbox. Let me know how it goes!
