Ok so my mom liked this guy 'Ryan' but then something went wrong, nothing big though. Now she likes this guy 'Bill'. She sees this new guy, talks to him, and sometimes goes on dates; I guess you could call it that. But all of a sudden 'Ryan' calls and asks if he can come over. Mom says he will just be here for a minute.. IT'S ALMOST 10:00!! What is he planning on doing.. spend the night?!?! Thats not ok! (Oh and just to let you know if you haven't already figured it out my mom is divorced has been for about 12yrs-practicly my whole life) So what is going on here?!?! Is my mom 'Unfaithful' like Rihanna's song? Or... what? PLEASE ANSWER ASAP!!

Well she and Bill probably aren't exclusive. She is allowed to go on dates with more than one guy and not be considered *unfaithful*. If you're so worried about her love like then ask her to talk to you about it.

On Monday Im going to go to this guys house with my friend and his friend. He's really into my friend and when we all hang out, he has his arm around her and stuff..so my question is what are FUN things to do with 2 boys and 2 girls at someones house? I dont want it to be awkward/boring..Play Games? Anything is appreciated.

Ohhhhh man, TWISTER!! You guys will have loads of fun especially since it's kind of physical ;). A movie is alright too but that gets boring after a while and if your two friends like each other then I guarantee you they will not pay attention to the movie.

ok so my little brother is 9 years old and he always wants me to play with him. he doesnt understand that im older and have things to do. whenever i try to explain this to him, he gets upset and thinks i dont want to play with him so i feel really guilty. how can i explain to him that im busy a lot and dont really have that much time to play with him?

Just because you're older than him doesn't mean that you can't play with him. I hang out with my little brother sometimes and it's fun because you get to act like a kid and have an excuse. It's very understandable that you're busy though. So set aside time to play with him when you aren't busy and promise him that you'll do it. Maybe turn it into a weekly thing. Like, every Thursday you guys do something together. Good luck!

I'm kind of "addicted" to Gatorade. Everytime we go to the store, I buy it. And, instead of buying cokes to keep around the house like I use to, I now buy Gatorade.. and drink atleast 1 a day. Ok, my question is.. Is Gatorade bad for you? And is drinking this much harmful? Should I cut down on any/all/how much?

Well Gatorade is better for you than cokes but you shouldn't drink it too much. Gatorade is basically sugar water that has added sodium, electrolytes and other chemicals that are supposed to replace what you loose when you sweat. So if you aren't sweating, you're just adding on to what you have. Many coaches even tell you to water Gatorade down (at my school anyway).


One thing of Gatorade a day shouldn't be a problem but you really shouldn't drink more than that if it isn't watered down. Now that's if you're not active.

Haha this is a very strange question but I tend to get hard nipples (when it's cold.. etc) and they show through my shirts. I have tried padded bras (they don't help much) and duct tape (doesn't work at all). It is also quite embarassing if I am wearing a swimsuit and they show through.

How can I stop them from showing.. I don't mind if it is uncomfortable but I do not like having to put on more shirts since it can usually even show through hoodies and what not.

Hmmm...padded bras don't work? Try using band aids, instead of duct tape. It works better.

I have been wanting a perm for sooooooo long. I want a body wave perm. I picked out this supppperrrr cute hairstyle. But, i am doing the locks of love thing. Is it ok if i get a perm and still do the locks of love thing? I know they don't allow color treated hair,,, but what about perms...i want one sooooo bad. thanks in advance and i will rate your advice.

Actually, you can send in color treated hair as long as it isn't bleached or damaged. And that also goes for perms. You can still send in hair to locks of love if you have a perm.

Well then it depends on how often. If it's only one or two times a year, that wouldn't be enough for me. But if you're okay with it then stay with him. But like I said before, you obviously aren't happy with the situation. Long distance relationships can be hard and why deal with it when you're so young? Sorry if that last sentence sounded insensitive, it really wasn't supposed to.

I am from miami and i am 15. I had met a boy and he is 17 we have been friends for a month and he asked me to be his girlfriend so i said yes and a week later he had to move back to new jersey and we have been going out for 6 months now but he works as a chef and barely have time for anything. should i drop him or stay with him?

Honestly? You're only 15, why worry about a long distance relationship? They're so hard to keep and be happy in and you're obviously not happy if you're here asking this question. If you were older and able to maybe go up to see him on your own, it'd be differ rent. But seriously, you almost never see him, right? And you said he barely has anytime so I'd just break it off. That's how I see it.

i was unpacking from a trip and sliced my finger on something. i didnt really notice it until i looked and saw it was bleeding. it doesnt even hurt, but part of my fingernail was sliced too. should i be worried? i washed it off and put a bandaid on it, but do you think its gonna be ok? i dont want to have to have like my fingernail removed or anything. im just concerned. thanks so much!

Depends on how bad the cut is. If it's a good, deep cut them you might want to take it to the doctor to see if you need stitches. But if it just looks like a normal slice then clean it up really well and just put a band aid on it.


And if it cut of part of your fingernail, once it starts to grow out, make sure you cut off anything that is like hanging out. Fingernails grow back, don't worry.

why do people make their beds? no one goes into your room anyway unless you have people over
and you mess your bed up when you sit on it to do stuff and when you sleep you don't want it to be all neat, really, you dont need it since itll be all messed up anyway

Bahaha! That's what I say! And so what if your friends come into your room, like they care if your bed is made, right? I have this conversation with my mom all the time but she still makes me make my bed :(.


It just makes your room look nicer. My mom always says that even if you have the cleanest room in the world, if the bed isn't made, it'll look trashy.

I purchased a ipod video a little while ago, and i recently added a video to it. [ Season 1 episode 1 laguna beach ] and it will play the video but i cant hear anything at all. has anyone ever expeirenced this problem before. can you plz help me? thanx in advance.

Try seeing if your headphones are plugged in all the way. If that doesn't help, and the volume is turned up, either call where ever you got the video from (iTunes?) and ask them if you can get another one for free since yours isn't working or take the iPod to where you bought it from and ask them to check it out to see if there's something wrong with it.

Well I jus watched the movie, the butterfly effect, with my friends. and the ending is how he like never becomes friends with kaylee and stuff. Well my friend said that when she say it and it was a different ending, like he was in the womb, and like choked himself with the ambilical cord.

Is that like one of the endings?

I saw the one that you did, with him never talking to her. I've heard about the one with the womb though. But yeah, some DVDs come with alternate endings. They're usually on the DVDs that say *special edition* or something of the like.

This is going to get complicated. Read carefully. Lydia was married to Kyle for 5 years. Billy and I were engaged, but never got married because I found out we're actually cousins. (He doesn't know that & I'm afraid to tell him.) Well, Lydia was already thinking about divorcing Kyle so when she met Billy she jumped all over him. Kyle was mad and divorced her. Billy dated Lydia to make me jealous. I dated Kyle to make Lydia mad and jealous. At first I only wanted to get Kyle and Lydia back together, but now I've fallen in love with Kyle. Billy is still in love with me, but got engaged to Lydia anyway. I think Kyle and Lydia still have feelings for each other but I need help bringing those feelings out again. Kyle says he's in love with me but I know he & I can never get serious because, even though I love him, he's got to much baggage. Example: I'm still a virgin and he's got 3 kids. Actually, that's the problem. I WAS a virgin, until Billy and I got caught up in a moment. I think Billy's going to break up with Lydia because he thinks now that we made love, I'm going to change my mind and be with him. I still can't! What on earth do I do to get Kyle & Lydia back together and convince Billy that he & I are over for good all without hurting anyone too badly? HELP! I'm in way over my head!

Wow. Interesting situation.


I see this in two different ways. One:
Tell Billy that you and him are in fact, cousins. That way, he can get over you and on with his life. Now, if you really do love Kyle and you think he loves you as well, see if it can work out. Yeah, that does seem like a lot of baggage, but who says it can't work? So you get the guy you love and if Lydia and Billy love each other (which won't be a problem for Billy now since he'll know your situation with him) then they get each other.


But if you're absolutely sure you cannot be with Kyle here's number two:
Tell Billy that you and him are in fact, cousins. That way, he can get over you and on with his life. Sit down and talk to him about it, as uncomfortable as it may be. Ask him if he's only with Lydia to get back at you. If he is, tell him that it's just so unfair to her.


After Billy is taken care of, tell Kyle how you really feel. You can't be with a man that already has 3 children because you're just nto ready for it.


At this point, all else you can do is tell Kyle and Lydia to think about what they want and who they want. They have 3 children together (I'm guessing?) and they've been married for 5 years. If they still have feelings for each other, it might be worth giving that another shot. Telling them that, might get them thinking.


Other than that, you can't MAKE then get back together. They have to figure that out for themselves. All you can do is fix things with Billy and Kyle. Good luck.

I love this guy that i have known for over a year. A few months ago i told him that i liked him but not love. We dont really talk that much besides online. Sometimes during the day i zone out and hes all i think about. I get depressed when i think about him because his type of girl is this blonde haired skinny blue eyed girl. Im the opposite. Im not ugly or fat but im just not a blonde haired skinny blue eyed girl. When i see him in person he will have small talk with me but its nothing big.

I reaally want him to know how i feel but i really dont know how to tell him. I dont want to be like i love you.

Don't just out of no where tell him you like him if you don't talk on a regular basis. Ask him if he wants to do something with you. Like go see a movie sometime. Or, ask him for his number/AIM so you can talk to him more beforehand and let him get to know you.


And so what if you're not a blue eyed blonde? Did he tell you that's all he's interested in? most guys don't just stick with one certain look. Even if they prefer a look over another, they won't pass on every girl that doesn't look that certain way, believe me. So don't let that stop you at all!

What are some common/uncommon themes, lessons, morals, etc of books you read in school or any book?

I think the reason you didn't get any answers for this question is because in high school, you read SO many books/short stories every year and each of them have SO many themes. If you tell me what type of things you're looking for, I'd love to help you out.

To Kill a Mockingbird: 1. The Coexistence of Good and Evil: Rather than being simply good or evil, most people have both good and bad qualities. The important thing is to appreciate the good qualities and understand the bad qualities by treating others with sympathy and trying to see life from their perspective.
2. The importance of moral education over the math and such you learn in the classroom.


Fahrenheit 451: The presence of fast cars, loud music, and advertisements creates a lifestyle with too much stimulation in which no one has the time to concentrate.


The Once and Future King: The Relationship between Force and Justice (might and right): Back then, whatever could be done by might, was concidered right. But what should be is, might should only be used for right.


Night: 1. The struggle to maintain faith in God through out the worse.
2. The importance of father-son bonds.

hey, ive been trying to babysit my neighbor forever. my mom has been asking them for me to babysit. i mean im going into the 8th grade.. im deffinetly old enough by now. shouldnt there be a reason why there avoiding it?

We obviously don't know you so we can't give you that many reasons. But, depending on how long they've known you and how old their children are, they probably just aren't comfortable with the idea yet. Probably nothing against you, they just might be looking for someone that is 15 or 16. That or they might not feel that they know you as well as they want before letting you watch over their children. If they have a 16-year-old girl come along that they've known longer, they'd most likely go with her.


Also, they might not even need a babysitter or already have one. Again, if you gave more info, it would be easier.


What I would suggest is try spending more time with the kids and the parents so they can see how y'all react to each other.

Last year I took Algebra 1, and I sucked at it, but it wasn't me, it was the teacher. At the end of the year she ended up passing everyone in my class by one or two points, probably to make herself look good, because we were all failing miserable. Point is, I'm still moving onto Geometry next year..but I know absolutely nothing about Algebra 1, I didn't get anything out of that class. My mom will be getting me a tutor outside of school & I have notes on Algebra 1 now. But my question is, is Geometry harder than Algebra 1? Or is it similar? Does it deal with Algebra 1 alot/at all? Thank you.

Well I liked Algebra better but Geometry is easier if you keep up with what's going on. The things you learn at the start of the year, you'll need at the end. But if you keep your notes and such, it won't be a problem at all.


Geometry has some Algebra in it but not much. You'll just need it to figure out equations like, if this half of the segment is 2x+7 and the other half is 5x-3, how long is the segment?


They should go over the Algebra with you a little and since you have the extra help, you'll be fine. Just make sure you ask questions the second you don't understand something.
