arm hair

Question Posted Sunday August 27 2006, 6:25 pm

[14/f]

when i was 12 i noticed the hair on my arm was growing and there was more of it, so i figured i could get rid of it the same way i get rid of my leg hair, by shaving it. Well I did and I regret it now because the hair keeps growing back darker and thicker and I have to keep shaving them since its so dark. Is there anything I can do to stop the hairs from growing in as dark and thick as they are? Or am I screwed for life?

Wax your arms. I slid into the same pit as you.
Waxing lasts longer, it might hurt though if your not used to waxing.

Well, you could wax. It kind of doesn`t make it thicker and darker each time you do it, and it lasts longer. It might be painful though. =/

you could try bleaching your arms using a cream bleach you buy at stores. it lightens & slightly thins the hairs on your arms or anywhere else you use it. i use sally hansen . .

Using a razor or shaving cream will make it like that.If you wax it,by time it will stop growing thick and youll get the best results.

If you keep shavingg your arms it'll probably keep growing thicker & darker. You could try bleaching your arm hair so it doesn't appear as dark, and maybe wax it. But I don't really recommend to keep shaving it. Hope I Helpeddd :]

I've been shaving my arms for like, a year and haven't noticed any change in color or thickness. I guess it depends from person to person.

Anyway, this is what you do. Let the hairs grow out to at least 1/4 of an inch. After they grow out, get them waxed. Really, it will hurt but waxing doesnt cause your hairs to grow back thicker/darker.

This may be painful but if you wax the hair on your arms it will not grow back as quickly and after you do it several times it won't grow back at all but several will be alot of times.
