Just look around any stores, even if there is no help wanted signs on the door, ask anyways if they are hiring.
Some towns have a hire a student, where you can sign your name up and people will phone you if they need their lawn mowed or sidewalk shoveled or etc.
If you live in a small town like me, where there arent many options, any job that you can get, you should take it!
A part time/ afterschool job isnt really supposed to be fun and exciting with a great pay and flexible hours. Especially for teens.
This should motivate you to get a good education so you can grow up and take something and work somewhere you like so you arent stuck bagging groceries forever.
