i have liked this kid since 7th grade ( im only in 9th now ) but thats still a pretty long time...he knows i liked him in 7th and he knows i like him now but he doesnt know i have always liked him...hes all i think about day in and day out...i cant EVER get him off my mind but im scared to talk to him about it...we talk and stuff he kinda flirts wih me and stuff and we chill sumtimes but he works a lot...i REALLY want him to like me the way i like him...it just hurts a lot to know he prolly doesnt even care...me n my friend went to this soccer game and after it was a huge pilloiw fight...well these kids kept like trying to get...up on me...and wen he saw it he took off his hat, put it on my head and like chased them so they wouldnt touch me...ik it sounds really gay but wen he put his hat on my head i felt like i had everything in the world...is there anyway i can stand out to him...but not like changing myself totally? thanks for helping...xoxo

Even though you are scared to talk to him about it. I think you should. And since you're scared to, just write him a letter about how you feel. And tell him what you just told us. You can leave the hat part out if you want to. But I think that is way cute! You seem to care a lot about him. And he does flirt with you, you never know he may have feelings for you. And guys are confusing you never know what they're thinking... I HATE THAT! lol. But just write him a letter/e-mail about how you feel and how you have always liked him since the 7th grade you have never stopped. And that you just want to know if he likes you also. If you guys are close why would he forget you!? I don't think he will! =D You guys are close and you should keep it that way since you really like him. And you guys will see each other since its your brothers friend! Won't he come over? And if he goes to the same school as you, you guys will see each other. I would if I was you and age is just a number. My parents are three years apart! And you don't want to regret something. You should always tell someone how you feel because then they'll know. You can always tell them face-to-face, in a e-mail, on AIM/AOL, or on the phone. So good luck if you need help on what to say just ask! =P

My Mom doesn't like when i watch like MTV cuz she sez there is always junk on. like and she wants me to lead such a sheltered life. Like she thinks i don't know anything about like sex and drugs and stuff. i'm 12 wut should i do?

Just tell your mom that you're 12 years old now and that you're smart, you know about that stuff. And you know what to do and what not to do. You just like some of the stuff on MTV and its not like you're going to do exactly what they do (example JACKASS lol). Start out watching like Newlyweds, Ashlee Simpson show, music videos and then maybe she'll let you start watching MTV. Just tell her its not all junk and you won't watch all the stuff on MTV (not everything on MTV is great lol). Since of late i havent been really happy anymore with my bf, so i talked to him about it today (7-12-04) and we decided to take a break. It didnt kick in yet that i was now seperated from him for awhile but as im writing this email... im starting to realize that maybe i shouldnt have done that.
I said i needed a break becuz i wasnt happy and i wasnt sure if i really wanted to be with him and even though this feeling was on and off... 75% of the time i was feeling that i needed a break so thats why i took it. I needed time to figure out if being with him was what i really wanted.
IM so scared of losing him but becuz we are taking a break we arent talking and im scared to admit that maybe i was wrong . Yet im also scared to go back with him and find that i really did need the break.
What should i do?

Still talk to him about it. You did say BREAK its not like it was a breakup its just a break. You guys should still talk and be friends atleast. Just call him up and tell him exactly what you just told us! Thats all you really can do. I know how hard it may be, but you have to try. I don't want you to be unhappy, maybe you're boyfriend (even though your on a break, IDK what to call the kid lol) can help you out and make you happy again. Just try talking to him and tellin him why you need a break. Maybe you just need a break from a lot of things until you can be happy again. If you need to talk about this, just post back or something. I'll be glad to help you =D

ok well my grandpops has cancer and he has like 1 yr to live. well hes all into church and that stuff and he always asks me to go with him. well i havnt gone to church since i was like 10 and the only reason i went is bc i liked this guy. well idk how to tell him i dont want to go. cuz im just not a church person like i believe in *A* god but the whole worshiping thing is totally off the wall for me??? wut can i do

Thats how I was too. I didn't want to go to church, but once I found out my grandma had 6 months to a year to live... I started going. Trust me, I've lost both of my grandmas. So, just please go with him to church and just be there for your Grandpa, thats all you really can do. And even though you're not into church all that much, your Grandpa would really like it. And at night pray for him maybe he'll live. I've been praying for my mom everynight because about a month ago she had a Brain Tumor. And God always listens to you! Although you don't like going to church, just go and try to have fun and just spend as much time with your Grandpa as you can!!!

Geez why does everyone worry about High School!? I for one sure did! I even wanted to be home schooled because I was so scared!! lol. But once I got to school I was fine. But if you have friends already, there is nothing to be scared of! High school is basically just like Jr. High, except well its bigger and a lot more people! All you have to do is be yourself that is always number 1 on the list! But, in each class talk to the people around you and have small talk with them. And then at lunch, you'll meet up with your friends and you'll meet the new people they met and then you'll be meeting a whole bunch of people! You just have to be yourself and be talkitive and outgoing!! Have fun in High School!!!

Hey! Age its just a number so don't worry about that. Don't say you don't have a chance with him because you never know you might have a chance!! But you just have to talk to him first and find out. But first of all you have to be yourself, don't be someone you're not. Do you have his number, e-mail address, AIM/AOL screen name? If you do try contacting him by that. And just getting to know him better and then meet up with him some where. First get to know him better and if you still like what you see, then eventually tell him you like him or maybe he'll even tell you he likes you!! Good luck! Try contacting him somehow!! =P

Try talking to her about it. Just tell her how you feel about this situation. And maybe one day you can hang out with her and another day her and her boyfriend can hang out. Just talk to her about it, she is your friend, she should understand and try to work things out with you. Just say "I know you have a boyfriend and all, but we barely hang out now and I really miss that" Just say stuff like and tell her exactly how you're feeling. Good luck and hope this helped!

i dance alot (about 12 hours a week) .. does this have anything to do with my not having my period yet because of heavy exercise?? that's what my friend said and i want to know if it's true

Geez girl dance a lot lol. Thats cool! But when you're active or athletic (Like you are) that makes you start your period later or even lets you skip some periods too. So nothing is wrong with you don't worry! It just happens to athletic girls! Keep on dancin!! =P

5.) Water and not so much soda
6.) Crunches/sit ups
7.) Biking
8.) Sometimes in magazines they have a way to lose weight, try looking in magazines.
9.) And try lookin on google.com too. they may have some ways to lose weight.

okie heres the thing: see iva had this reallie close frend since i was in 6th grade. we got along tite and stuff thah people started to believe thah we were going out and stuff alredy even tho we were just friends. at the end of 6th grade i moved and dint get to talk to "person" and i dint want to. i wanted to forget about "person" coz eben tho i liked him i knew there was like NO POSSIBLE WAY rite?

well at the beginning of 8th grade wen i finally did get to push "person" to the FARTHEST places in my mind i got to talk to "person" agin through AIM (coz i havent gone on fer like a whole year and a half) and started to like "person" agin. then after a month "person" told me "person" liked me in the 6th grade and that "person" still liked me. i was totally happy rite?

then i intro-ed "person" to like three of my closest frends and one of them like totally changed "person". "person" was soo different and by february "person" didnt even want to talk to me anymore- "person" only wanted to talk to my frend. i knew my frend didnt want to take "person" away or anything even tho she didnt knoe anything baout how i used to crush on him and stuff like that.

wen i went back to see "person" in my hometown, i ran into a couple of my other frends who kept telling me that "person" was sooooo different than how "person" used to be before i left, and they kept bugging me about how "person"
DID like me and that wen i left "person" went through an entire trauma. wen "person" talked to me "person" sed that "person" just turned all wierd and began hating everything since 7th grade. i felt soooo bad!!

is all his changing my fault or was it just something that was coming around? i mean, "person" wasn't anything like how people described "person" wen i was there and they sed that that was the first time "persons" been like that for a long time. so is it a yes "person" likes me or a no? its been bugging and everytime i tried to talk to "person" about it i just get too shy and it ends up to be a talk about one of our common interests or something.

No its not your fault he changed. Its not your fault you moved, you didn't have any say in it! But some people do go through phases where they change, I have known some people who do.

But I would try to talk to him, even though you get shy, you want to know right? You don't want to regret it. Because down the road you'll think "What would have happened if I told him I liked him?" You don't want to think that! You can always try writting him a letter or something, exactly how you feel. And just tell him that you're sorry that you moved. And that you did like him in 6th grade and that once you guys started talking again you started to like him again! And just be honest with him and tell him how you feel. You'll feel much better and it's always easy to write your feelings down than actually trying to tell them face-to-face or something. And also tell him that you don't want to stop talking to him. And ask him why he changed and stuff. Just ask him whatever you want to know and tell him everything you want him to know. If you need help writting the letter, just ask I'll be glad to help =D. Lately my dad has been wanting to spend time with me, and for some reason I just really don't want to. I don't know why, but I feel uncomfortable. Like, he asked me to go to lunch, and I just said "I'll think about it", and then without telling him I went to a friends house, and slept over PAST the next days lunchtime, just to AVOID being asked again. What's my problem? I mean...I still like the guy, but I really want to b left alone. And lately, I've been liking my mom more. Pleeease help me!!! Thanks.

Sometimes teenagers go through this phase where yolu rather spend more time with your friends rather than your dad. You may seem closer to your mom than your dad because you can tell your mom more stuff than you dad. But, you should try to give your dad a chance and just atleast hang out with him once. You don't want to upset him, would you? How bad can going to lunch can it be? It wont be too bad. Don't worry, just give him a chance. And maybe you can bring a friend along also when you go out with your dad. You'll be fine no worries!!! =P

Try showing her bands thats girls play the guitar in and tell her to watch Freaky Friday (The new one with Lindsey Lohan .. she plays the guitar). Just try talking to her one more time saying that its different these days that girls and boys play the guitar and you really want to play it. Just tell her why you want to and tell her you're in a band and you have to have an instrument in order to actually play in the band lol. Good luck!!!

When it comes to guys, some guys are very shy telling a girl they actually like her. He probably freaked out and signed off because he didn't know how to answer you. Try asking him again, but saying "Don't sign off, I'll tell you first, I do like you, and I just want to know if you like me also." You can say something like that, or change the words. That is really cute. AWW. lol. I think saying yes to him wasn't bad at all. Because you guys are in love like you said. No one can stop you from whom you love. But, if you want to, you can wait til you're like 21 until you guys can actually drink. And/or maybe you guys should also wait til you're done with college or something. My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. It really worried me and I told him that I cared. As I was walking to the bus, it really hit me what he had said. When I got on the bus I realized that i liked him as more than a friend. The problem is, the next day he acted as if nothing happened. I'm not sure if he was telling the truth about wanting to kill himself. I'm only 13 but I have liked him for over 5 months. My question is ...........
Do you think you have to be a certain age to love?

Since he is your best friend, you should really talk about why he said he wanted to kill himself. Just ask him why he would want to do that just because a girl didn't like him. And just make sure that he knows a lot of people care for him. And just say "If I didn't care for you, then I wouldn't be talking to you about this." And for the love part, no one is too young to be in love. Only you can decide if you're truly in love with him. Your heart can't control who you fall in love with. LOVE has no age limit! lol.
