help!!!!!!!!
My best guy friend wanted to kill himself. At least thats what he told me. He said it was because a girl didnt like him. He said that no one cared and that he had already tried before. It really worried me and I told him that I cared. As I was walking to the bus, it really hit me what he had said. When I got on the bus I realized that i liked him as more than a friend. The problem is, the next day he acted as if nothing happened. I'm not sure if he was telling the truth about wanting to kill himself. I'm only 13 but I have liked him for over 5 months. My question is ...........

Age is nothin but a number. You don't have to be 20 to know what love is, you don't have to be in a certain grade... you just have to know how you feel. love can come at any time. i first fell in love when i was 12 or 13! i kept telling myself it wasn't, but even to this day i know that it was, and i still feel it when i see that person. there's not a day that goes by without me thinking of him; i just don't talk to him anymore. so no, there's no age specification for love.

-as for the killing himself thing--i hope hes okay and you did the right thing by being there for him and telling him you care maybe he acted like nothing happend because he was shy to bring it out in person.. some guys get like that or maybe he was trying to hide his anger or something?? hopefully, it was just because he thought about how wrong he was and realized that it was the wrong way to go

No there is no limit to age and you can love at any age... thats what i believe... if somebody gives you crap about it just watch to see if they say they love someone and only rub it in there face like nicole said to me... she told me i didnt love nathan but i do and the next thing i knew she said she loved someone in her profile and she always said she loved josh-trix

Since he is your best friend, you should really talk about why he said he wanted to kill himself. Just ask him why he would want to do that just because a girl didn't like him. And just make sure that he knows a lot of people care for him. And just say "If I didn't care for you, then I wouldn't be talking to you about this." And for the love part, no one is too young to be in love. Only you can decide if you're truly in love with him. Your heart can't control who you fall in love with. LOVE has no age limit! lol.

Love know no age race or gender. I think that any age is okay to love. So if you think you like this person and he thinking to kill himself because someother pesron didn't like him, just be truthful and be there for him.

First of all you need to talk to him about the "im going to kill myself" thing. Thats really important!! Second of all you need to tell him that you like him. Its better to let it out then keep it in. Who knows that girl might be you ;)!
Love can come at any age. But the thing is when your 13 its usally puppy love. But who knows!

No, there isn't a certain age, but when someone threatens like that the first thing you do is think about what life would be like without them. You might love him in one way that is not the same way you think, maybe you just got scared for his life and realized how much you care for him. Just make sure he knows.

Of course not! Love is determined by the heart, which has no knowledge of your age <3 I am 14 and I have been in love since I was 11! And I have been dating the guy I love for 11 months now and I know he loves me too! Adults think that just because we are younger we don't know what love is, but believe me, we do! Because I know for a fact I love my boy friend with all my heart and soul and that he loves me too!
Chances are, this guy likes you too!

It a common thing to say things like that. We all go threw it. ( well most of us ) I know I have. If you really feel like he is that serious about it, tell his parents his parents will do something about it such as take him to see a consolour or something. If you dont want to be involved in that, make him realize a lot of people care. And, I dont think you have to be a certain age to love. There are all kinds of love though. You should really tell him how you feel.

I think that at 13, there is a lot you have yet to experience... and I also think that this guy might be attempting to use his suicide threats as a way to garner sympathy from you, and perhaps control you. It would not be the first time I've seen such a thing happen.
That said, people who feign suicide generally need help, and relationships with them end up being very manipulative and unhealthy. Is that something you really want to get mixed up in?

There isnt an age restriction to love! You cant help who you fall in love with.. keep talking to him positiv .. if he says anything negative try and turn it into a positiv comment :)
