okay, I go to a private school and i absolutely DESPISE it. I've asked my mom to change my schools and she says not until i bring my grades up and stop missing so much school. but the problem is...i fake sick as much as i can so i dont have to go. ( like i said before, i DESPISE the place) and i know it seems a bit childish, but if my little act doesnt work at first I start crying, like REALLY crying. i realy dont want to go. its a super small school and whenever i'm there I have absolutely no privacy. as a matter of fact, i feel like everyone there knows more about me than i do. And I've known the principal ever since kindergarten so she expects so much of me and i just cant live up to her standards anymore. My mom sent me to a counselor the other day bcuz she was worried about me and I told the counselor about school and how i wanted to switch and she actually agreed with me and said that she thought that would probably be the best thing for me. i told my mom and she just got mad and wouldnt talk to me for a little while. can anyone think of some way i could convince my mom to let me switch??? please, anything would help. thank you.

I was at a private school when i was 13 too. I also hated the place, as did my younger bro and almost every other kid i knew. I'm assuming you are in 7th/8th grade? get through gradeschool and then switch out if you still hate it. honestly, gradeschool is the worst and private high school is a lot better, i promise. I hate to agree with your mom, but just stick with it for a little bit longer and then make sure she promises to let you go to public high school.
you really have to see why your mom wants you there... if you live in a terrible public school district, she might want you to get a better education. really, make the most of it. if you need anything else, lemme know.

I'm always singing. I love it, and now that I started voice lessons, I'm singing even more. But, I sit next to my crush in science. Whenever I sing or hum he's like, "Stop singing!" but it sounds like he's joking and he smiles afterwards. Does he really just like it and should I keep singing?

Oh yeah, it's not like I'm a horrible singer. I may not be the best, but I don't think he tells me to stop because I'm bad.

I hate to be the oddball in this but he might just be annoyed. I know people with great voices (and i love to sing as well) and when they are constantly singing, i try to be nice about it but i just want a moment of quiet because i can't take it anymore. unless it's obvious that he loves it when you sing, save it for after class. i know it's hard but it grows on you.

You know in brand clothing stores like Garage, etc? When a top is marked 5$ is it EXACTLY 5 bucks or is there tax? if so then how much would it cost?

Most prices do not include tax, regarless of whether it's a "brand name" or not. some places might be different (hasn't happened to me yet) so have some change around and assume that you are paying sales tax. if you don't have to, well hey, you got lucky and saved a buck. (:

i'd like people's opinions- do you believe that it's possible for two teenagers to fall in love? i'm 16/f and he's 17/m. this is our relationship in (very small) nutshell:

we talk about everything. we care about each other to the deepest, most loving extent possible. i don't see other guys [friends, random guys] in the same way i used to. neither of us would ever do anything to hurt the other [emotionally & physically, for that matter.] and anytime either of us even suspects something is wrong [which has only happened twice], we bring it up and talk through it. he makes me genuinely happy- the happiest i've ever been in my life. i'm constantly in a state of bliss when i'm with him, no matter what we're doing or what's going on. we've been dating a year and almost seven months. i can honestly see marrying him and spending the rest of my life with him. no words can describe how much i love him.

I think it's love. The way I see it, a lot of adults wish they could find someone and be happy like you and your boyfriend are. don't do anything drastic... if it's love, it can wait a couple years til you can be completely together.

well i know that theres this stuff called "tuf skin" and its for gymnasts to make their leotards not rid up... is there anything like that for spandex?
if not... what can i do to prevent my spandex from riding up?

do you wear underwear under your spandex???
one of my friends (who plays volleyball) told me that she doens't wear underwear under her spandex and she just wears a panyliner.. unless she has her period.

About them riding up... just pull them down in between plays. i really don't think theres a way to keep them down. (thats why a lot of people just start with them up.
Yes, wear underwear with your spandex. When i played, i wore a thong because i don't like pantylines showing but underwear is fine too.

I'm 14/m and my best friend (also 14) and I have been j/o together since we were like 11... we just think its fun but my MOM caught us 2 days ago and now she's convinced that I'm gay. So she doesn't want us to like EVER talk to each other again and she's maybe going to call his mom about it. I think your mom is overreacting a little bit... let her cool down and see what happens. I read a book on paul mcartney 2 years ago and it talks about him and his friends having like group jackings in the dark and he's not gay.

It can be done. You just have to strengthen the upper register and voice lessons can do that.

Don't do it... you're just not thinking realistically. your boyfriend being 18 has a more realistic perspective and knows that having a baby this early is not a good idea. wait a while and have a baby when you are old enough to take care of it.

It definatly depends. i know girls whose moms don't let them wear bikinis and they still look good in tankinis. If a girl is kinda curvy around the middle, it's a good alternative to bikinis. i think that teenagers can wear them.

What happens if you drink alcohol when you are taking isotrenin?

I am invited to a party in a few nights time, and I was going to take a drink to relax, but I am wondering if anything would happen to me.

I would not advise drinking when taking any kind of drug. I know a girl that was on prescription meds and had 2 smirnoffs (with food) and she eventually started puking blood. I suppose one drink wouldn't kill you but really be careful with it because t could harm you.
