Ideas for visual Aid????
does anyone have any ideas for a simple visual aid for my project on Harriet Tubman for Black History month?? somethign that has to do with the civil war, or preferably the underground railroad.

i think that a map would be a good idea. i did a project on her once, and i can't remember how many trips she took (but it was a BUNCH) so maybe you could draw a map on a piece of poster board and with a red marker, mark the journey that she made. and then be like, "yeah, it would be a big deal to just walk that far once, but harriet tubman did it __ times!"

I remember them using some kind of lantern to show the slaves where they could stay - you could make one of those. <3

Maybe you could show a map of the Underground Railroad or the trails she took. I'm not sure if you could find them anywhere, but it's just an idea.
