partychick101 answered Sunday February 18 2007, 5:45 pm: Teens can wear them, as long as they're still cute. I had one last year, because I don't like my stomach very much and I got a lot of people who complimented me when I would wear it. So yeah teens can deff wear them. They're a much better alternative than one pieces. [ partychick101's advice column | Ask partychick101 A Question ]
BlahBlahBlah answered Saturday February 17 2007, 11:09 pm: You can deffinatly wear Tankinis! I personally wear bikinis..but i have lots of friends that wear tankinis (i am actually thinking of getting one) i'm 16, and i think that as long as you get a cute one...your fine.
You should be careful of which one you buy though. There are tankis that do look like "older women suits" but if you find a cute halter or soemthing...it will look great! Look for tankinis in like "teen" stores that way they will be focused on a teens body. [ BlahBlahBlah's advice column | Ask BlahBlahBlah A Question ]
imFLLLY answered Saturday February 17 2007, 8:45 pm: personally, with me being a 14 year old skinny girl, no i wouldnt wear one unless i had to. but if you are a teen that is a little on the bigger side and is uncomfortable with people seeing your stomach, then i wuold say go to a high- fashion store like pac sun or american eagle and get yourself a cute tankini or 1 peice that looks good on you and flaunt it. chances are everyone will love it. disasterxwoah answered Saturday February 17 2007, 8:42 pm: Teens can wear them. They are good for girls who are a little unconfortable in bikinis. They will still look cool in a tankinis as they would in a bikinis They are harder to find in cute patterns as other columnists have said. I would wear one deffentally :) [ disasterxwoah's advice column | Ask disasterxwoah A Question ]
iSLAND_iNTHE_SUNx0 answered Saturday February 17 2007, 8:35 pm: Teens can wear them for sure. I wear them, because I don't like the way I would look in a bikini. But sometimes its hard finding cute patterns and such. Department stores rarely have cute patterns. Sometimes local surf shops have cute ones... but they won't have many. They'll mostly have bikinis.
To answer your question, yea you could still look cool, haha. And yes I would wear them.

Mackenzie answered Saturday February 17 2007, 7:41 pm: I think they're sexier than bikinis, that's for sure. Bikini's are what they are, and are only intriquing for so long. Tankinis leave something for them to wonder about. :) [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
hco_babe answered Saturday February 17 2007, 5:30 pm: i think tankinis look better on heavier girls. it hides a little more tummy and makes you look slimmer. if you do have a skinny figure, however, defintely go for a bikini! both are in style and can be worn at any age. it just depends on your body type. xAskkMechaBeccax answered Saturday February 17 2007, 5:25 pm: i wore them when i was around 13 because i was insecure about my looks and they were ok.
LoveNJstyle answered Saturday February 17 2007, 5:05 pm: It definatly depends. i know girls whose moms don't let them wear bikinis and they still look good in tankinis. If a girl is kinda curvy around the middle, it's a good alternative to bikinis. i think that teenagers can wear them. <3 [ LoveNJstyle's advice column | Ask LoveNJstyle A Question ]
