I was reading another question and I got to thinking, is there really a point to shaving your vagina? Like, is it actually recommended and stuff?

It's not recommended, but I guess it's better than not shaving. There's no point in it, but who doesn't want a clean looking vagina?

Baptist & Catholicism are almost the same thing. They're not their own religions. They both are a branch off of Christianity. So, yeah, it's perfectly fine to go to a baptist church when you're catholic.

Three different people called me emo because I was scratching myself with a tac. No I am NOT trying to be emo because I am way to terified that I will die if I even come close to any razor, or knife, or whatever. But I was just bored I wasn't like trying to be emo or anything. So now those three people are spreading rumors that I am emo. At my school if you are called emo then you suddenly are part of a group of people who die their hair jet black and cut their wrists. I saw that group and I don't want to be apart of that even though I am gonna die my hair black. (i've been trying to get my dad to let me die my hair since I was 7!) also i listen to all the same stuff the emos listen to just because i like it i cant help it if we like the same stuff. what can i do to stop the rumors?

If I was you, I'd ignore the rumors. As long as you know the truth, then what's the big deal? See it like this - kids are judgemental these days, so if they don't like you for the things you do, or what you wear, or what type of music you listen to, then they came fuck themselves. If they love you for it, then hey, that's fantastic too. But getting upset over this is stupid. Let people think what they want, you're not gonna be able to change their mind, and when you try to, then they're gonna think that you really are emo. And being emo isn't about dying your hair black & cutting your wrists [although that's how everyone has made it out to be], it's a lifestyle, and a different outlook on life.

Who cares if you were scratching yourself with a tack? When I get bored, but I put a safety pin through the skin on my arm. Does that make me emo? Not really. Just ignore the rumors, think positive, and have a LOVEME OR HATEME attitude. Fuck what people think.

I've been dating this guy for about five months now. I think we're perfect together & everytime I'm with him, he makes me the happiest girlfriend alive. He's like a part of my life & I really don't know what would happen if he weren't to be in my life anymore.

With that, we have this BIG disagreement.

He smokes weed, and I think it's REALLY gross. Ever since he met me, he has cut down, because he hangs out with me a lot, and he won't do it around me. He smoked weed for like three years before he met me, so it's not like he just recently started. I know weed isn't addicting, the only reason he likes it is because it's just nice to have every once in awhile.

I don't like weed because I just don't like how weird he acts when he's on it, it just scares me. He also says mean things about me, [I found his tape recorder & he ended up recording an entire conversation with his roommate talking about how unhappy he is with me!]

He said he's not willing to change & weed has been around a lot longer then me.

I'm lost, what should I do??

Anything can be addicting, so therefore, he is. I realize you think it's gross, and you don't want him to do it, but he's gonna do it anyways. He's not gonna stop just because you say so. I know you don't like how he acts, because when people are high, they can be a little weird, or say dumb stuff, but they don't even know what's going on. So don't mind him when he's like that. He's not in a right state of mind. For the recorder thing, I'd seriously talk to him about that, because that's wrong. If he continues to be rude about it, I'd just fuck it. Because a guy who won't treat you good over a damn plant, is retarded.

I think any lipring is hot, really. It doesn't matter which side it's on. It's sexy. And so is snakebites. There's no meaning. That's just a silly rumor/superstition. You can pierce whatever side you want, and it doesn't mean anything. I don't think guys should have a lot of piercings, cause it's not really too attractive, but for some reason, lip piercings just seem to get my eye. =]

My friends dont know me anymore. I've changed so much and I don't know what to do. I'm always the "good girl" that would never do anything bad or wrong. I've been labeled that for the past 2 years and I hate it. Everyone know's me as the "always happy, preppy, good girl". But I'm not like that anymore. I love doing crazy things that are shocking. I want a tattoo and my belly button pierced. I want to drink & try new things (haha not drugs though!) I wanna have fun.

See this all started happening when I became close to this one girl. Her name is Erica. She is a senoir and i'm a freshmen. She's really cool and laid back. She's one of my best friends. We hang out all weekend and talk almost everyday on the week days. She is the complete opposite of me though. I'm way preppy and always smile and laugh. She's dresses down and doesn't care about what she looks like. I guess she's a good influence in some way, because she made me learn not to care so much about what other people think (but i still do!!).

My whole life I always knew I was being someone I wasn't. I wasn't this always happy good girl barbie that I was labeled and been labeled. Towards the end of last school year and this school year, I got more into the "f*ck life and have fun" attitude. I wanted to do pot and drink. I wanted to always do something that was crazy and unexpected of me. I fell in love with the old rock classics (60s-70s)and if people hear me listening to that music... they're like "eww chelsey.. you're becoming a druggy?!". (since when did the music you listen to label you as a druggy or non-user?).

But ANYWAY... I've finally opened my eyes and notcied that erica is a bad influence in my life. She's the one who introduced me to all of this. Smoking, drinking, pot, music, & my attitude. I don't know if this is who I've always been and it was just covered up with hollister clothes and california hair or what, but i'm so confused now. I don't know how to say this, but I like this new person way better then the old. I'm so much more opened and dareing (?).

Now the hard part is, my friends refuse to believe this. If I even curse, there like "OMG! chels you cutie, thats mega bad... when did you start using those words!?!!". AHHH im like stfu. And then I think to myself, what if they knew i wanted to drink or try pot... they would like sign me up for therapy. I don't know what to do?!?! I want people to realize that I've changed, and accept that fact that people change, and wanna do different things. Whats your adivce? What should I do about my life? I don't even know where to begin with all my feelings. Thank-you for answering HONESTLY... I really respect your opinion.

One more thing... I kinda started seeing this kid this year and me and him really hit it off. He's mr. popular and stuff so when he first started talking to me I was soo excited! But now that were haning out more often we almost created like a relationship. A couple nights ago, I found out that he drinks and gets high often. When me and him went over to our one friends house (they were having a party). He took me back in their yard to the bon-fire. A couple of my best friends were down there so I started talking to them, but then they went up and i followed them half way and then went back to the bon-fire. When I came down they were smoking and getting high. Now it just wasn't the kid i liked... it was some of my other guy friends too. They offered it to me.. and I reacted quickly by taking the blunt and throwing it in the fire. (hahaha i know right). So now is it that my friends can smoke but i cant? and i get yelled at if i even curse? WTF?!

Honey, so many teenagers go through this. I used to be good, and my first time even getting high was 3 weeks ago. But I love it.

Anyways, I used to be the good girl too. I was doing right things, helping people out [not that I still don't. I help people out from time to time], and my grades were high as hell. But I got sick of being good, and being called names. So I changed.

I stopped hanging out with the kids who cared about everything. I found people who were careless, they had more fun. I live my life day by day. My motto: Whatever happens, happens.

Don't worry so much about what your friends think. Drinking, smoking & doing drugs are your decisions. Not their's. They might not accept it, or like it, but that's life. You're always gonna do something that someone doesn't like it. And that's their problem, not your's. Every teenager has a time when they try new things.

Just tell them that if they don't like it, then they can just go to hell.

My best guy friend has recently unloaded all his problems; I found out his dad's cheating on his mom, his grandpa died (his grandpa was like his excape from his parents) his parents continuesly fight, his grades are slipping, and he's been coming to school with alot of bruises latley.

I don't know how to handle this. I really like him and I want to help, but what should I say to him? What should I do?

You really need to sit him down and talk to him about everything. Be there for him, and really show him you care. Let him know you'll always be there for him if he ever needs you. And be his shoulder to cry on. I would tell an adult you trust what's going on so he can get some counseling. Nobody deserves to go through that. He might be mad if you tell, but he'll thank you in the end because he'll have help, and he'll be happy again.

Try to make it so you can see each other on weekends, that way, your relationship isn't so dependent on the phone. No relationship should be. But if it gets to the point where neither of you are making an effort to change the relationship, and how much you see each other, then that relationship should end. And you should probably find someone you see more often, and someone you talk to. Because listening to each other breathe is lame. Could you imagine just sitting there and all of a sudden he's like "OMG, YOU'RE BREATHING PATTERN JUST CHANGED, YOU OKAY?!"
