MelLeDisko answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 8:07 pm: What I've read somewhere in a magazine is once a boyfriend for his girlfriend told her to come over his house at a certain time. And whenever she'd get there, there was a balloon sitting there for her and she popped it, and inside was a paper and a memory or a compliment for her. Then she walked further and there was another and another and another with all sorts of things inside them about her that he loved, or was great about her, or how he never wanted to let her go, and how much he cared, etc. Then when she walked inside the final room, he was sitting there playing a guitar with a song he wrote for her. ( But I don't think you need to take it that far if you don't play ). I think a bouqet of roses could do just as good. So you can put the good times, the funny times in the balloons, anything and everything you've wanted to tell her.
You could also make a couple of CDs and make them all songs that remind you of her funny songs, weird songs, pretty songs, the whole shibang. And just write a little message on eachother of them letting her know how much you love her and everything, and write something even on the CD case and maybe include a picture of the two of you.
Speaking of pictures, that's another thing you could do. Take all the pictures you have of eachother, and make a scrapbook and insert little pieces of things in there too. Like paper hearts and what-not. Or, if you had a memory that included a flower, tape a flower on the inside of the page next to the picture, or say, a piece of candy, tape a candy wrapper on the inside, get it? And just write her a message on the first/last page and leave maybe 10-20 pages blank and tell her you can't wait to be able to fill the whole book up.

Girls of all ages like those really soft stuffed
animals. Get a real funny card and a nice stuffed animal she can snuggle with at night and think of you! [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
XxSunshinexX answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 4:56 pm: alright. so im a girl, and this is definatly 'cute' and 'meaingful' to me.
one idea is to get a picture of you and her together, put it in black and white..and do some fancy stuff to it. write her a poem, add it to the picture... and maybe frame it. [if you need help doing that, i have an AMAZINGG photo program that i could actually do it for you other then the poem]
another is, if you hae the money, take her out to her favorite NICE/FANCY resturant. buy her maybe a deep red rose and just make it romantic as possible, but still in her comfort zone.
this is sort of hard to explain, so if you want, just write me something to my inbox, and ill help you over AIM or something.
xoxchewiexox answered Tuesday September 26 2006, 12:57 pm: well if your want a meaningful present, then jewellry would be good. necklaces are the most meaningful and mature, then bracelets and then rings. Earings are also good.you could get her a locket with maybe some sort of crystal on the front, with msaybe a lovesonnet on the back?or a pair of earings
and not hoops or sliver studs, some pretty dangly ones maybe?
as i dont know your girlfriends personality, you should go with what you think will mean the most to her, visit some jewelry stores in town, look for something that reminds you of her, (and thats in your price range) and if your a bit short, ask your parents if they can pitch in, dont ask for anything more then 20, thirty dollars/pounds if thier generous. tel them that its for your girlfriend not for you and that youll pay them pack from your allowence. this will show them that your responsible and can be trusted.
good luck
and happybirthday to your girlfriend

Or_this is cute, bare with me_you could make her a CD of all the songs that make you think of her when you hear them. But when you're in love, it's like EVERY SONG. Haha, that'd be cute though. She'd love it.
