I've been really worried because I want to wear a tampon when I get my period. So I tried putting one on before i got it and it didn't go in. Is it not suppose to go in when you don't have it.. or does it take practice? What i'm wondering is how am i gunna put it?


Hi. It is a lot easier to put them in when you are on your period. As the first person said, you should'nt because there is no lubrication. Anyways, I found a website that shows you how to put one in. It has like this video thing that shows you, and it also has step by step instructions. Its what I used when I started using tampons and it really helped me.

has anyone ever used the solia flat iron? i just ordered it and was wondering what other people thought of it. do you think it will work well on my hair type- a little past my shoulder, wavy/some loose curls, thick. will it reduce straightening time? my old straightner [wet2straight] took me like 45 min- an hour. also will it reduce frizz at all? or what products can i use for that? thank youuu:]

My boyfriend bought me that flat iron about a month ago. It works very well, better than the other ones I have. [and I have a lot] I think it will work well on your hair, I mean it makes mine look amazing and my hair is just..ugh. It should reduce your straightening time. Yes, it will reduce frizz. And as for products, just use what you normaly use, or a heat protector. Let me know how it works :]

ive been trying to lose about 10 pounds for the past couple months. i eat regularly and everything. sometimes when i have a craving for something fattening i eat it then make myself throw up. (then i win both ways. i get it, and i dont lose weight) i dont make myself throw up all my food, just the fattening food right after i eat it. is this dangerous or bad for my health?

I don't wanna lecture you or anything, but I used to do the same thing, and it got to the point were everything I ate, I would make myself throw up. Anyways, my boyfriend found out, and moved in with me to help me stop. I did. Then everytime I ate, I would throw it back up for no reason. [i wasn't trying] I ended up going to the doctor and I have no stomach acid, so my stomach can not break down food. That is why I threw up for no reason, after I had stopped doing it purposly. Anyways, now I'm on an all liquid diet for the next 2 years, and I can not eat solid foods.

So, Please stop what you are doing. I don't want anyone else to have go through what I do because of it.

ok well when i was little like 10 i shaved my arms. and i'm 16/female now. and now the hair on my arms is dark. it botherd me some and i wish i'd never did it.now it does bother me.and now other people notice too. its not the fact that i care what other people think but i just dont think i can do anything about it. is their anyway not to make my dark colored anymore? thanks alot.

Buy a bleach kit from Wal-Mart. They make them for your body. Its were the Nair and all is. It should make your arm hair blend in with your arms, so you can't tell. :]

i just got my bellybutton pierced about a week ago with the bananna barbell
i have been cleaning it twice a day with dial liguid soap
but now i woke up and its all red and hurts and white stuff is coming out
so now i am still cleaning it with dial soap but im also putting neosporin on it as well
my friend got it done with me and hers is fine
i dont know what to do because i like it so much and i dont want to take it out

Start washing it with peroxide a few times a day, and that should get it back to normal in a few days. I also had that problem..

I'm a sixteen year old female. I have dark, thick hairs down the middle of my stomach below my bellybutton. I'm really self-conscious of it - I can't wear a swimsuit or anything. I've heard that shaving it just makes it darker and thicker (plus, I've shaved it before and it just comes back all stubbly). I've also heard that waxing does the same thing.

Is there any way to get rid of this hair or make it lighter? Is it unhealthy to bleach the hair there (like some people do to upperlip hair)?

Hi. My twin sister had the same problem. She bought a bleching kit from Wal-Mart. It worked really well. I would recomend it. :] I don't remember what it was called, but it shouldn't be hard to find. Its not unhealthy as long as you buy the kind thats made for your body. Good Luck!

Hey I was thinking of getting a helix or wat people will call, cartilage(upper ear) piercing.

1)Will it hurt badly and is the level of pain equal to piercing your ear lobe?

I've heard bout a story where someone who pierced his helix went blind. After he had he's cartilage pierced he saw something white protruding out and he pulled it out and he unknowingly pulled out his nerve.

2)Is this possible or is it pure bullshit?

I have over 20 piercings, one of which is a helix.

1) It hurts, but not like really bad. I'd say just a little worse than your ear lobe.

2) I think thats its bullshit. But it could be true, I have heard of this happening. Cause everytime I get a piercing I loose sight for a few minutes, but I don't like blackout.

Hey everyone. Well, I started my period about 5 days ago and have a few questions. #1: How long does a period last?? #2: How long should you wait to start wearing tampons? and then i have a concern. i wear pads of course, but blood has gotten into EVERY pair of underwear i wear. what can i do about this? i can't go out buy a whole supply of underwear every week. I had this same problem when I first got my period. Your period should last 5-8 days, give or take a day. You should wait to start using tampons after you've had your period a few times. I'd say at least 5-7 times. Or at least until your period gets regular. With the underwear, I think a lot of people had this problem. It sucks. Just wear your old underwear that you hardly ever wear. It sounds like you are not putting your pad in the right place. Just put it a little farther back, or up a little more, whicheever is needed. If that doesn't work, then try a longer pad. Hope I helped.

Ok. So i have been dating my boyfriend for a month now and we are all good but like night we were like randomly talking about this one girl named Anna. They has been friends for a little while and i asked him if he would do her and he said no. So then i was like ya...and hes like shes all hairy because she mexican and stuff. Hey, I'm a guy and I grow my hair out long, over a foot in length. I wear it parted in the middle and pulled back in a pony-tail, and have had it like this for several years now. Just recently, I've started having a lot of breakage in my hair, lots in the shower drain and in the brush or comb. (no, I am not going bald, in case you're wondering) I can see the ends where the hair has broken and it's looking really bad.

Is there a type of shampoo or conditioner that works well for longer hair and prevents breakage? I've been doing other things that my girlfriend suggested such as using a hairdryer and certain ways of combing. But I still have a lot of breakage problem. Don't want to cut it off, either, as I like having it long. =P

Any advice or suggestions? If it helps at all, my hair is also very fine, not thick or curly.

My fiance' has a sister that does hair..I always ask her on stuff like this..

She said to trim it maybe half an inch.
Then buy some Mane & Tail shampoo and conditioner.
