I've been really worried because I want to wear a tampon when I get my period. So I tried putting one on before i got it and it didn't go in. Is it not suppose to go in when you don't have it.. or does it take practice? What i'm wondering is how am i gunna put it?
netsirk07 answered Friday December 8 2006, 2:08 pm: yeah because they'res not lubrication from the blood flowing but when u have your period it does.. when your about to get it and you dont know what day it falls on, wear a pad until you get it then put the tampon in. Usually with every box of tampons you buy comes with instructions but of course just like everybody is diff. you may need to do it a diff. way.

Anyways, I found a website that shows you how to put one in. It has like this video thing that shows you, and it also has step by step instructions. Its what I used when I started using tampons and it really helped me.
keepinitreal108 answered Friday December 8 2006, 10:00 am: well, you gotta know which one is better for your body type. everything isn't for everybody. but yeah it takes practice. but i perfer not to wear them, but if they feel uncomfortable, then use pads. but practice and find one that's good for your body type! Also, it can get stuck and that could be an embarassing moment at the gyno! Note that some people can get very sick when wearing a tampon, i.e. fever and body aches. Use caution!
