im 16 and hes 18...weve been dating my for 8 months now and were very much in love...and a few weeks ago he gave me his email passwords so i could put up a picture...and i did but i got curious and i looked through his sent messages [i kno shame!] but i found something that realy upset me...there was a message to his ex who had just recently came back from military training [she left already yay!jan 01]and the message said he thought about her and i recall something about dinner and him wanting her to stay...i told him what i did and he wasnt mad at all he said he loved me and nothing could ever change that and that it was just a good good bye...i ddnt ask about the whole dinner part because i believed that he loved me and since he didnt throw a fit i ddnt think i had a reason flip out...but now my friend is saying that he just trying to have his cake and eat it to....i love my boyfriend but ive been played before so i have major trust issues... since that he hasnt changed his password o nothing...so should i just forget it...because like theres nothing that seems like hes doing something wrong but then i have my friend saying he is.... ugh!! i just dont kno

If I were in your position, I'd just trust him on it. Surely, he may have known you'd go through a few things, since he gave you his password.. and if he had anything to hide, that would be a pretty dumb move to let you see it.
Maybe it *was* just a "good goodbye".. what are the chances he's gonna see her again anyway?
Forget what your friend is saying, because there's no way your friend 100% knows what's going on anyway, as do any of us on Advicenators.
I'm just telling you how it sounds from my perspective and if he's not acting dodgy and you have no other reason to believe he's playing you.. just let it go. You've voiced your concerns to him and he told you straight and to the point his side of the story.

If you like each other, you should be able to work around seeing each other once a week. Heck, once a week isn't even that bad. It's not like you 2 won't communicate other days anyway.

i just downloaded an app yesterday on my ipod touch called "stanza" its an e-book which allows you to download and read books. i just downloaded pride and prejudice. it asked me 'would you like to download this book to your library?' and i clicked 'download'

so my question is..when you download books off of stanza, are they free?

We have been together 10 months. To put it simply:
If you are madly in love with him, don't throw it all away without properly trying.
Your boyfriend may be confused, stressed with things going on his life lately and now he could be beginning to question his relationship with you. We can't say for sure why he's being this way, but if he wants you to still be together, it shows there's hope and he's willing to work on it - and so should you.

Well without a lock on the door, there's no sure way - but locking the door makes it pretty obvious what you guys are getting up to anyway - as does trying to drown out any sounds with music for example.
Before you do the deed, you/he/both of you could talk to his parents and tell them what you're doing. No, I don't mean tell them you're having sex because I don't think they'd appreciate that!.. but perhaps say you're going to watch a film/play some games/etc, so they'll try not to disturb you.
Just a warning - if you decide to risk doing it with parents about, if you get caught.. it's how should I put it from past experience.. mortifying! :(

My mother passed away 26 years ago. After her funeral, I gave her diamond engagement ring to my daughter, "Emma." Since then Emma has had two husbands and two more diamond rings, plus several others with various gemstones to match outfits. As far as I know, she has never worn my mother's ring.

I would like to spend my last years honoring my mother by wearing her ring. I am now 82. It would, of course, be returned to Emma when I die. Would it be all right to ask for that privilege?

Arm around his waist sounds best. It's more practical and you'll still be able to walk freely as opposed to leaning your head on his shoulder :P

Well if the condom wasn't around.. it could be inside you. They don't just disappear!
Try not to panic and just see a doctor. They'll know if it's inside you and will get it out easily and safely.
and about being pregnant - remember, there's always a chance, even if you do use protection. but since the condom may be inside you, you're at a bigger risk.
Visit a doc ASAP. They will be able to help you with the morning after pill, too. Since you had sex last night, it's effective for up to 72 hours, although the sooner you take it, the better it is.

Okay, just as a warning, this is going to be REALLY long. Please, anyone who reads this, please read ALL of it, since there are a lot of details to the situation. Okay, here goes!

So, I have been going to the same church for like three years now, and there's this one really awesome guy I like. For this I'll just call him Tom, even though that's not his real name. I just really started liking him this spring, although we had known each other before hand. I'm kind of a tomboy and I'm rather anti-social, as in I like/dislike things most other girls don't/do. Basically, I detest shopping, make-up could go burn in the fiery abyss for all I care, the color pink makes me vomit, perfume can actually give me serious breathing problems, I enjoy being messy, dirt is awesome, I don't give much crap about my appearance, aside from looking slightly presentable, weapons are wonderful, I train obsessively in martial arts, I'm okay with violence/blood, swords make me feel all fuzzy inside, and I get along better with animals than I do with people. I've pretty much always hated all guys because I was pretty much abused by other boys in my early and pre school years, ie getting choked by a kid in 1st grade. As a result, I really hate pretty much all guys and I feel almost violent, so when I find a guy I like and can relax around, it's really nice. So anyway, Tom and I really started talking more early this year when I got seriously PO'd at this other dude who wouldn't leave me alone. For whatever reason, even though I was flipping out at all the other guys, Tom was the only one who could come near me, and he helped me calm down. And even though this sounds weird, he was only able to calm me down by showing me his weapons magazine, full of swords, daggers, archery equipment, rifles, etc. It put me in a happy place, and I was finally able to relax enough to survive the other guys.

Tom is really awesome, he loves a lot of things I do, including hunting, weapons, animals, anime/manga, action movies, etc. After service at church, we're always trying to find each other to talk. It's practically the only thing I've been doing lately at the church I go to. Tom is really nice, at least to me. It feels like he knows everything I do, and knows how I feel, and we act similarly in a situation. He just... Makes me feel amazing, which has never happened to me with a guy before. Tom's technically a year younger than me, but we're in the same age group, and I really wish I could see him more often than once a week.

So anyways, how the heck do I tell him I like him? I have no clue if he feels the same way about me, or w/e. I'm so afraid I'll get rejected or he'll feel all awkward or something. Should I wait for him to say something? I really like him, and I've never had a boyfriend before, and I'm starting to get kinda lonely since even my sister has had a wonderful bf for almost a year now. Please, please help me! I'm really confused! ;_;

Firstly, I'm really glad you've found someone who makes you feel comfortable and you have similar interests with.
If I were in your position, I'd definitely just suck it up and ask him to hang out some time. Try and make the effort to talk to him outside of church (call/txt/online/etc) if possible, too.
Giving hints you like him is a start - and you making the effort to talk and want to hang out with him is definitely the way to go.
If he doesn't pick up on it, just ask. Quite simply: a lot of the time, if you don't ask, you don't get! So just go for it. You don't have to make a massive deal about it, slip it into conversation if you can "I like you, we should hang out more" etc etc, or if you're very shy and can't do it in person, send a txt/write a note/etc.
but I must warn you of one thing.. Let's just say he did say no. Of course you're going to feel upset with his decision but when you see him afterwards, you must act like you're completely fine with it, to show you are confident (even if inside you really aren't).. but hopefully, that won't happen.
