collecting is always a good hobby, something that sparks you're interest. If collecting isnt your thing then try some of these hobbies:

gardening
knitting
music
painting
cooking
drawing

something like that

When I'm not busy, a while ago, I set myself a goal of learning how to play my favourite songs. I also enjoy art and making things.
I find they're good and challenging to pass the time. :)
