okay me and my ex broke up not to long ago...its not like we wanted to really its just that certain circumstance broke us apart we still love each other but cant be together right now. i still talk to him but he still calls me names like babe, baby and all the others we had is that strange since we broke up or do u think its okay since we technically didnt want the break up to happen

There is nothing wrong with it, it's not strange or weird. You said you can't be together right now so there may be a possibility that you two will reconcile with each other in the future.
For as long as you have feelings towards each other the pet names should continue. It shows you still care.

Her dad discovered her boyfriend was into some bad stuff and pretty much forced her to break up with him and cut off all communication. They still loved each other, however, so they always acted like they were dating even though they weren't. I think it's fine to still say those sorts of things, especially if you two still love each other. Hope I helped!
