Senioritis is all in your head. Go to school, Study your classes, and get good grades. Do the same thing you did last year. It's not that complicated really.

Trim. I just bought a handy little trimmer at walmart for only $18 dollars or so. If you don't have the money for the trimmer's then get some sissors and just be careful.

my dog sheds like a mofo! i mean all i do is touch him and then my hand looks like a gorillas its so hairy...hes only a beagle what can i do?
For a short haired dog here's what you should do. Take a towel, wet it down a bit, and scrub your dog. Do this once a day every day for about ten-thirty minutes each time.
One of the many responsabilities of owning and dog is brushing and grooming them when needed. Even short haired dogs need to be brushed. Try bringing him to a groomers and tell them that he's been shedding a lot. When they give him a bath, they will get all of the hairs loose, so they just need to be brushed off for a couple days and by then his coat should be done shedding until the next shedding season comes around. I don't know how often beagles shed, but you could find it easily enough online. Try this website www.akc.org and search by breed name. (Beagle is under B) :)

ok..my friends that I sit with at lunch I'm starting not to like..I was invited to sit with my best friend Amanda and her friends..but like I'm really good friends with some of them..like theres about 16 people there and I'm close with like 8 of them so that would be ok but I dunno how to break it to my other friends and I'm scared that I'm not gonna fit in that much at the new table..there all saying yeah I want you to sit with us and stuff but I dont wanna be like an intruder..what should I do? -rate high-

Why do you only have to sit at one table every single day? I don't understand why you can't just sit where you feel like it one day, and then go somewhere else the next day. You don't need to just ignore the people you sit with now, but that doesn't mean you need to sit with them and only them every day.

well.. I'm finally with Kevin. We've been together a little over 2 weeks. The more I'm with him. The more I fall in love with him. and I'm really comfortable around him. and I really love him. I don't know what to do. because like in school we hardly see each other. Im a senior.. and hes a freshman. hes suppose to be a Sophomore but he got in a lot of trouble. hey im a 13 male and since 6th grade (im in 8th grade now) i've been getting a few annoying crushes. so let me striaghten this. i hate having crushes. why? because they're on people that play no point in my life. 6th grade was an ok crush, at least i talked to the girl often, but 7th grade, i must have heard 20 words from the girl towards me all year, she was a tom boy and i played no point in her life, and hers in mine, though i had a crush on her. now, in 8th grade, i do believe i have yet another on a girl that hasn't said ONE word to me. dont tell me to talk to her, i just want it to go away. why am i getting crushes on girls that i havent even spoken 2. this girl is in 3 of my classes, and i dont know i just like her. like i dont even have to hear her voice and i like her. its strange, just people with a certan air about them, i favor. mods dont delete. its just bugging me. is this normal?

I'm on the birth control shot and now my period is really screwed up..It will start and stop and start and stop and it's never regular..Is that a normal side effect?
It amazes me that doctors will prescribe a drug to someone without explaining all of the side effects of that drug. Yes, it's normal, after a few months your period should completely stop. I say should because some people experience small amounts of spotting once in a while, say.. every two months or so. But until then it's not uncommon at all to experience irregular periods and very heavy periods.
If I were you I would complain to your doctor for not explaining all of this to you before hand. And next time you get on a new drug ask the doctor a few hundred questions about it so that you know exactly what your getting yourself into. Do not simply trust in the doctor to tell you everything you need to know. You need to ask about everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. That way you wont get worried when you notice something like this.

I checked out your column, and your not a moderator because all of the ratings that you have are from over 30 days ago. That means that they don't count towards your average. So, basically you need to start all over. Answer lots of questions and wait for people to rate you. Once five more people rate you, if it's over 4.0 average then you'll get your status back.

Hi well here goes ive been going out with my girfreind or should i say ex for about 2 years i love her to death and she the same but her parents didnt know and she didnt want to do anythink behind there backs so she wanted to break up till we told her parents ( btw she lives in egypt im in england...long distance relationship) so after my summer in egypt i got to know her mum we got on quite well i talked to her alot she seemed to like me, she came to my gf and said i dnt want u fallin in love with him blablablabla all thes stupid reasons. my gf respects her mum and loves her very much (like we all do or most of us do)so we thought we would wait till we are old enuf for marriage (21) then start a serious argument for our rite to be together, well again her mum sees the telephone bill comes up and says its either your mum and dad or him well she chose her parents ovibously shes not allowed to contact me but we found ways and we are still like madly madly in love in seperable so we still just feel we are stuck and well we wont ever fall in love wid someone else.... so are we stuck in a dead end relationship?(what do i do?)

First off, you guys should have got some phone cards in order to call each other, so that her parents wouldn't be able to complain about the bill.
Her mother seems to be a lot like mine, and many other girls mother's. No one is going to be good enough for her daughter. She doesn't want her to fall in love and get hurt.
She's seems to be quite protective, a bit over protective maybe. I don't think you should think of it as being stuck in a dead end relationship. As much as she loves her parents, they will have to let go of her eventually. You two just need to make them realize that your not rushing into love. As you get older it's going to be easier to keep in contact, but you shouldn't hide it from her parents forever.
I think it's wrong that they made her choose. Maybe there's an underlying reason that they did that, but from what you've told me you two seem more mature about the situation than most people, regardless of age.
Maybe this is mostly in your girlfriend's hands. She needs to get to her mother and maker her realize that she really does love you and vice versa. I can't really say how she would do that, she would be able to find out easier since she knows her mother and how she thinks. Find out what exactly is bothering her mom about you two being together and find out ways to make her realize that she doesn't have to be scared about the situation. Maybe bring up something about how her daughter (your girlfriend) learned how to be strong and take care of herself from her mom, so she has nothing to worry about.
As time goes by, you two will be able to assess the situation differently. In two more years, do you think you will be just as madly in love? Is it worth this time of hiding from her parents to possibly spend the rest of your life with someone that your madly in love with? I don't think your stuck in a dead end relationship. A relationship that can make it through everything that you two have been through deserves to make it.
You should talk to your girlfriend about this. Talk about the good things, and see if she wants to go on with the relationship. You two seem like you've already thought about the future, now you have to think about it more.
Just take the relationship as far as it can go with you both still happy in it.

I want to take up photography, can anyone give me any help on getting started.. tips, tricks etc.? Any camera's you think are best for begginers and film. And where I should get them developed if digital is better.. and some not too-cheap not too- expsensive things I might need.. I just need help getting started so If you have any sites, or tips, or if you know anything that would be great thanks!

You should look into some photography classes at your school or community.
That said, I wish I could remember more about my photography class in high school, such as the camera I used.
I don't think you should go for digital. Especially when your first starting out in photography, it is a lot easier to learn what to look for (lighting, where shadows are, where the sun is, etc.) if you control everything yourself with a good camera. If you want to get a good camera, and the school or class that you take doesn't provide them for you, then your going to have to spend some money, but it will be well worth it. Search for 35 mm SLR cameras, I beleive that is what I'm talking about. They are the camera's that let you control everything like shutter speed.
Then, learn how to develope the film yourself. You will be able to get the lighting/shade/color/ etc. you want much better than anyone else. This is why you need to take a class.
Did I mention to start out with black and white film? Well, do that. Black and white film will help you focus on the shades, instead of pretty colors to begin with. Plus a picture just looks cooler in black and white.

Ever since I was a small child, I have always wanted to be a pilot. However, my vision is terrible and 20/20 vision is a strict requirement of US Air Force aviators. There is the possibility of Lasic surgery, but that is expensive and sometiems unreliable, and it has risks and side effects involved. And it can sometimes be a disqualifier from the flight program of the USAF.
Now, when I was a Senior in High School, I was originally going to sign up for the US Army Warrant Officer program. My counselor managed to persuade me not to. I applied to and got accepted to Saint Joseph's University because of their Air Force ROTC program. Then came something I was not prepared for. As always, there is a lady involved. I found, or actually, a lady found me. We have been dating for the past 4 months and I know I sound like some puppy-eyed immature teenager when say this but I love this woman, and I plan on marrying her when we get out of college. It sounds stupid, but I know what I feel and I know she feels the same way. Now here is my problem. Do I join Air Force ROTC and waste 4 years of my life as an Air Force Officer only to be rejected for my vision to the pilot program when I could be living a nice steady life with my lady? Or is there a small chance that I could possibly get accepted to the pilot program and fulfill my dream? Is that small chance worth it? It pains us both to go to separate colleges, and my lady fears having to wait for me to return from year long tours of duty. And she fears the current war going on as well. What do I do?
I had a friend that went to Afganistan while in the army. He left wearing glasses, but came back without them because the army gave him Lasic surgery. He was top priority over his supieror officers because he was in the field, if he lost his glasses he was screwed; as opposed to someone who works at a desk telling him what to do.
There is always that possibility. If the only reason your worried about the surgery is the money involved, you should find out all of your possibilities, or future possibilities first. The Air Force could pay for it for you.
As for this girl... are you going to follow her around for the next four years so that you can go to the same college? That doesn't seem very beneficial to you. I know everyone is going to tell you this... But it's only been 4 months. Your still in the puppy love stage where nothing can bother you two, but that doesn't mean that she is the one. If you plan on marrying her when you get out of college, then she should have no problem waiting until then.
I also have a friend who recently went into the Air Force. His long term girlfriend and him got married before he went away so that she could go live with him and the Air Force would provide a home and pay most of their expenses. That is always something to think about. I'm not saying you should go get married after dating someone for four months, but you should think about the future, and how well off you could be with the Air Force.
And... This is your dream... I don't think anyone should have to give up their dream for anyone else. If she loves you, and if you love her, then you will have no problem making it the four years without being at the same college.

OK...i noticed this horrible odor and after awhile i discovered it was coming from my vagina! Ughh its disgusting. I know "they say" it smells down there if you eat certain foods like meat...i had a turkey sandwhich for dinner..could that be it? or could i have some kind of infection? I really dont wanna be in school and have people notice the odor ...wat can i do to conceal it / get rid of it? Any help is good help..thanks
You wouldn't be able to notice the smell just from eating a turkey sandwich unless you actually had your head between your legs. You could have an infection, the most common would probably be a yeast infection. If you have a large amount of discharge then go see your doctor. Don't just go out and buy something because certain things can be damaging for you. See a doctor to figure out what is going on.
It could be nothing, just a normal smell.
Don't try to conceal it, because any kind of perfumes that you put on your vagina will give you an infection. But foods that make your fluids inside your vagina smell better are citrus-y foods like lemons and oranges. Eat lots of fruit. This is also true for guys that want their sperm to taste better in case you were wondering.

Sometimes, I'd say about once a month, I'll wake up unable to move or speak, all I'll be able to control is my eyes. During this time I can't control my breathing either, my body is still in automatic mode. After about 10-30 secs of focusing on moving a single part of my body, I'll be able to move my entire body again. My mom who's a psych student says that I wake up during a certain stage of REM sleep; though I'd like another opinion. Has anyone been through this, or does anyone have any insight as to what this is?
I really don't think you need to see a doctor. I wake up like this a lot, it's usually when I'm just starting to get to sleep, or slowly coming out of sleep. I always talk about it as a dream. I call it a dream because I usually think there's something about to attack me in that state, so I have to concentrate on moving a part of my body, and once I do, I'll wake up and realize that there are no spiders crawling on me, no angry squirrels crawling around my pillow, no bats flying around my room... the dream dissipates and I wake up completely.
Your mother is right. It's just another stage of sleep that you go through.

Rub a little bit of baby oil on your hands, and then rub your hands on the dry spots of your face. Then, if your face is a little too shiny, then take a towel and pat your face to get the right amount of shine.
And, if your nose is dry because of blowing your nose too much, then take a small amount of vaseline and put it around the dry spots, it should look better by tomorrow.

I heard that atkins is better for men than women, is this true?
Sweet, I just started a Nutrition class and the atkins diet has come up a lot.
The professor is, of course, a Nutritionist, and she just told us that it is not nearly as harmful to your health as all the nutritionist thought. But you still have to do it correctly, that means -stay on a LOW carb diet, instead of a no carb diet. Getting rid of carbs completely will over-load your body with protein and you will not be able to break down the protein, because the carbs give your body the energy to break the protein down. If you can't break down the protein, then you can't pee... and other adverse effects.
The way the atkins diet works is because it takes more energy for your body to break down protein, as opposed to carbs. With a high protein diet you get a higher Meal Induced Thermogenisis (MTI), or, more heat produced by your body after you eat a lot of protein enriched food.
Basically the atkins diet tricks your body into breaking down the extra fat storage in your body and flushing it out of your body. Since it doesn't have the carbs to break down, your body goes for the fat storage.
That being said, I know there are differences between males and females, and the hormones could make a difference when it comes to the atkins diet. But we haven't gotten that far in the class yet. Maybe if I find out in the coming weeks, I'll keep you updated
