Question Posted Thursday September 16 2004, 10:21 am

okay. my computer hasn't been working for about a week so i'm not a level 1 moderator anymore. i know why i am not, but now i don't have a rating either! why don't i? i answer like around 140 questions. and before, when my computer worked, i had a rating of like 4.56 or something. So the question is: Why don't i have my rating anymore? Thanks so much!

I checked out your column, and your not a moderator because all of the ratings that you have are from over 30 days ago. That means that they don't count towards your average. So, basically you need to start all over. Answer lots of questions and wait for people to rate you. Once five more people rate you, if it's over 4.0 average then you'll get your status back.

Also ratings older than thirty days are no longer counted, and you need at least 5 current rating to be a moderator.

the site was down for about a week... thus, everyone lost mod status because of how the site runs itself. All you have to do is update your column as usual, and you'll get L1 mod status back.
