okay i like this guy. i started talking to him online cause i kept noticing him around school. he's a year older than me. well i wanna ask him to hang out but im afraid to. spring break is coming up and i dont want to be stuck with out seeing him for 2 weeks. how can i casually ask if he wants to hang out?

A person with good work ethics is one who comes in on time. Never calls in sick a lot. Doesn't sit around and do nothing.
They do the job they were hired to do to the best of their abilities and don't good off. :)

It is the person who helps customers with problems.
Like if you returned something to a store...they would be the one to assist you. The customer service desk is usually clearly marked in most places and easy to find.

I am 25 almost 7ft and i have what is known as platella femoral syndrome. This is inflamation of the muscle tissue covering the kneecap. I cant sit in one place to long or else ill be in pain. I cant drive to far or my knees will hurt so bad. I can run and jump and climb. But an hour later, i wont be able to walk. My knees would be so sore. I would like help and advice on how to deal with this. I have gone to doctors but what do they know. (link)

I am 25 and almost 7ft. However, I do have one concern. Probably very common. My hair is disappearing. Balding is not really in the family tree. Although on my moms side, they do have thin hair. But i mean i am 25 and i am on my way to being bald. Is this normal? Is their ways i can have my hair grow back without laser surgery or hair transplant. Any help, tips, advice is very much appreciated. (link)

I don't know exactly how you might slow it down...I'd check with a salon in your area with a good reputation. They may have some tips for you.
As far as it being normal at your age, yes it is.
If thin hair runs in your family it is certainly possible. :)

So I have a guy friend that I've been close with for pretty much all of high school and had an on/off crush for him. Well, I recently broke up with my boyfriend, partially because of this guy, but he doesn't know it. I just feel really close with him and can tell him everything. We just have this chemistry where we feel comfortable whenever we're together.
Just a few weeks ago, another girl told him that she likes him, but he doesn't really want a long term thing with her. I talked to him about it and he said he might hook up with her though because he figured there was no one else interested. I wanted to tell him that I like him but I just feel like it's too soon for him to have another girl friend say she likes him. We're graduating soon and I'd figured I'd tell him then but he's already taking this other girl to prom and I feel like I'll lose my chance if I don't let him know.
The other thing is that a lot of people in our grade have been asking if we're going out lately and it just makes it harder for me because by reinforcing to other people we're not going out, I keep saying to his face "No, I don't like you...we're just friends" when that's not really what I feel.
Could someone just help me figure out if he likes me or not and if I should let it go or tell him? (link)

It sounds to me as if you two have a good relationship.
Don't be afraid to let him know how you are feeling. He may feel the same but is unsure how you would take it.

ok so im a virgin and im 17 never had sex! but ive become ill and for 3 years now ive kept getting urinry tract infectins and this time the doctor said its cythlis or something and im thinking ive not had sex ever why do i keep getting them and what is the doctor thinking? I have to questions one is they have sent some medicine so i need to start that but im really worried because my pubic area feels all tingly. Sex is only one of many reasons a woman could get cystitis. So don't fear that your doctor is thinking thats how you got yours.
If you get any new symptoms that you didn't have when you saw the doctor, call his office and let the nurse know about it. They will probably have to call you back but they will let you know if it is normal for your condition.
Men can get cystis if they have a bad prostate gland. I don't know that a woman can give it to a guy. That might be a question for your doctor.
There are STDs that have similar symptoms, but you don't have that so don't confuse them.
Write any questions you may have down and when you next visit the doctor don't be afraid to ask him or her. Just give them the list and say...I have some questions, could you give me the answers please? He/ she will be glad to answer them for you.

16/F, I was talking to the guy that I liked and he started laughing at me when he found out that I don't drink and I've never had a boyfriend. He invited me to his party but I turned his invitation down cause I just didn't feel comfortable with the drinking, snobby ppl from my school and everything else . I'm happy to hear that you didn't buckle under the peer pressure. More young people should have your attitude.
There may be some who will tease you about it. I don't think standing up for what you believe in would leave a bad impression though.
I think you did the right thing. You should never
do anything you don't feel comfortable doing. Even if it is with a guy you like. :)

ok im 17 female....I have a really good friend Bianca and we met through this guy Rey who played us at the same time...anyways i broke up with him and she stayed with him...the thing is me and him have been doing things behind her back because he is really in love with me and i amm still sooo very in love with him...He told me he would brake up with her just to be with me...Question WHAT THE HELL DO I DO?? He is still playing you. I doubt he is going to break up with your friend. He's getting two for the price of one.
Ideally you would tell your friend and you would both dump him in the nearest ditch, but he has you over a barrel. You tell her and most likely your friendship is over.
You should really find yourself a guy who wants only you. You don't deserve to be strung along by this guy. The happy moments if you really think about it are probably very few.
You will, of course do what you want to. I just think you need to rethink this relationship. I doubt it is going to go very far.

My grandma had a stroke a few months now...4 to be exact! There are some problems in the family rite now so can you please help me. My grand-dad , who died, his niece came and she started bad talking me infront of me for the babysitter , my mom and even right next to me. This happened 2 days now and she's makin me ill. My mom told her to go home and don't come bak quickly. And now the doctor made me buy my grandma this expensive tablet...whre I live it's $3690 a month! And I am gettin money to buy groceries and stuff for the house but I'm not gettin that much money to buy it...and I know I should take it on because I'm only 14! I think I'm goin in a depression because this evenin I jus bought 12 tablets for $367 and that's only for 3 days!!!! I realised I am only crying and crying and it's relly buggin my mom!! What do I do? And I don't want to visit a doctor...so please help! (link)

First of all I want you to talk to grandmas doctor. Tell him the meds are not affordable for your family.
A lot of pharmaceutical companies will offer the meds you need free of charge if you qualify. Your grandma probably does. You could also look for the name of the company on the pill bottle and look online yourself.
I have done this for doctors offices in the past. If you need help finding the info I would be glad to help. Just send me an email with advicenators in the subject line.
As for you being depressed, I'm sure you are. You have a lot on your mind. There is help to be had though.
Your mom got rid of the niece so she has your back. Just let the comments made by the niece go...she isn't worth being upset about. :)

Alright so I'm in an FCS class and our cooking groups are like, our rows, and i'm in a row with all the special ed students. And I don't know how to cook, so I kinda depend on other people to help me, but I can't depend on them. And I really don't want to go to school tomorrow because I'm way too freaked out because I won't know what to do. But I really want to see this boy, so I DO want to go, and the part of me that wants to go to see the boy that I like is over ruling the part that's worried about FCS.. plus I'm planning on staying home on Wednsday because of gym testing, so, what should I do? Cooking really is not that hard. You simply follow a recipe. You just do things in the order given and you will do great.
Maybe if you concentrate on helping the other understand it will help you even more. Don't panic, it will be fun once you see its not that hard. :)

My mum and I just had a big argument.. we NEVER fight, but when we do it's pretty bad. Anyway, I told her I hadn't been sleeping lately, like it takes me hours to get to sleep because I'm doing year 12 and I'm very stressed. I have trouble concentrating at school and I'm having difficulty doing my work because of lack of sleep (I get 5 or 6 hours at most, but usually less). I asked her if maybe I could see a doctor or get something at the drugstore to help me sleep, and she got REALLY angry at me, saying it was my fault for not concentrating and that I was selfish and that there's nothing a doctor could give me ever so I just had to deal with it. She also made fun of me and acted like it was no big deal. Well, I know it's nothing serious, but I thought I could just ask her if there's anything I could get. I felt very hurt that she treated me like that when I thought I could rely on her to help me out. Now I'm starting to think that maybe it IS my fault, and she was right.
What do you guys think of this? We haven't spoken since then. Was I really making a big deal over nothing? Is my mum right? She's usually very wise, but I still feel kinda bad she said that to me. Is it really true that there's nothing you can for insomnia?

Its never a good idea to start relying on pills to help you sleep. That is probably her fear. Once you get dependent on sleeping pills it is difficult to sleep without them. So, in that sense her thinking is correct.
However, not being able to sleep is not your fault. She really shouldn't have made fun of you. I would let her know that your feelings were hurt. Then let it go, I'm sure she didn't mean to.
Now, something that has worked for me in the past...sounds so simple and silly is this. Turn around and try sleeping with your head at the foot of the bed. Sometimes its just something a little different about things will let you fall right to sleep! :)

If you are pregnant they will put a special apron on you before you get xrays, just to be extra safe. It is the fear of birth defects caused by the radiation you are exposed to during the xray. That is why they ask.
If you happen to get an xray while pregnant even without the apron there is very little chance it will harm your baby. Or so they claim. You would actually have to get a lot of xrays before it would cause a problem.
No matter how small the risk that it would cause some sort of deformity or birth defect, its always better to be on the safe side. :)

I really don't know if I did the right thing breaking up with my boyfriend. Every one I talked to has said I've done the right thing. Well anyway, my ex had "friends" who called me names all the time right in front of him and he never did anything about. Another occurance was when one of his friends threw dry glue at right in front of him. Well he just watched it happen. I have no problem with standing up for myself. They will send you an addressed envelope when they send you the bill.
You will probably put the bill inside with the address showing in the address window. Put the money order in behind that and it will probably even have postage paid on it already. :)

They will send you a bill after you receive your first magazine.
You will have to send them a money order or a check. Never send cash in the mail. Someone will steal it and you will still owe money for the magazine. :)

im 13 years old, and my dad died last saterday, i am having a rough time with all of this. my friends dont seem to understand. my bf broke up with me on the day of my dads funeral, and the guy that i really liked strated to go out with my best friend. my mom seems to hate me and everything is going wrong. i was seriously going to commit sucide, but the reason i didnt was because of my bofriend, but then he broke up with me. i feel terrible. i cant go to a conceler, i just dont want that. i just need adivce on how to oevrcome all of this saddness.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Thats an awful lot to have to deal with at once.
Your mom doesn't hate you. She is sad and upset. She suddenly has to deal with a loss and a whole ton of responsibility. Give her some time, she will be okay.
That boyfriend is a real low life. I know you probably don't think that now...but you will realize it eventually. You desreve better than him.
You are probably depressed right now. That is natural. Suicide is not an answer. Talk to an adult you trust and one who will listen to you.
Friends are great to talk to but they just probably don't know what to say to you right now.
They may fear saying the wrong thing and upsetting you more. Death is a hard thing for young people to undrstand sometimes. Especuially if it isn't something they have delt with before.
