I like fairies (thus why I am wearing fairy wings in the picture). Good grammar rocks, too. It doesn't have to be perfect but I get frustrated when people completely disregard it. I like every color except pink. I hate the wind. Sometimes, I carry around a little teddy bear I found at an antique store. His name is Robert. I dress very eccentrically. It's not unusual for me to wear a prairie dress one day and a Mod dress (think Austin powers) the next. I don't dye my hair, or wear much make-up. I think it's sad that no one puts any emphasis on natural beauty anymore. I think it's a good thing to be open and educated about sex and other issues that are considered taboo. I have a hard time seeing where homophobics are coming from.

My 2 bests friends went out in 6th grade and 7th grade literally about 21 times. Thats really close to the real number. honestly. They havent gone out this year but I can still tell that my friend (the boy) still likes her and he denies it. But then at dances my other friend almost leads him on even though she has a boyfriend. For some reason it ticks me off because I know my guy friend still likess her even though he denies it but she leads him on and pins him against walls in a playful way but has a boyfriend. Are you going to college? It's cheaper to move into a dorm and there are scholarships and financial aid that you can get up the wazoo. I'm sure collegeboard.com has some info.
If you're not going to college, I'm sure there's some type of loan you can get. I suggest you contact a financial adviser or accountant for more help.

First of all, let me clear the air. Im a sexually active 20 year old, Ive never been married, and I personally see nothing wrong with premarital sex, or sex in general.
But.
I have many friends who are Christian or Catholic, and they are (in my opinion) anywhere from sexually repressed at best, to afraid of and disgusted by sex at worst.
I cant really talk to most of them about it, simply because its a very uncomfortable subject.So I pose the question to the masses. For those of you who are religious, what are your views on sex, and why?

I've been sexually active since I was young and I don't see much wrong with it. Yes, I regret some of the occasions, but who says that adults never do things they regret? I have always been mature for my age and so far have not gotten myself into any trouble with it. I have made mistakes concerning it but learning things the hard way always ingrains them even deeper and I feel I am a stronger person for it. I like to think of myself as open minded rather than a slut. I do what I want to do, and I don't let the inhibitions of society decide my life for me on this subject. I think that sex is a beautiful thing and if a person is smart about it, it makes life all the more worthwhile. It is always infinitely better if the people are in love, though- I don't care what anyone says about lust.

In the words of Bowling For Soup, this is a BAD BAD situation. I'm 13, a girl, and I hope to think in love with my boyfriend Kenny, but I went and did the most retarded thing ever and cheated on him. We aren't really kissing at all yet in our relationship, and I have a friend who I was crushing on before I started going out with Kenny. I was hanging out with him (him being TJ) and I kinda made out with him for a while. Kenny was out of town when this happened, but when I got to the football game that night (with TJ, my friend and her boyfriend) I lost it and started crying. I felt so horrible about doing what I had done and didn't know what to do. I'm now stuck in a horrible position with just about everyone but him knowing what happened. well, me and this girl were best friends since 6th grade. i went out with this guy, though, and i was so in love with him. and she knew it. when he broke up with me, i was devestated. and we still really like eachother, & everything. recently, she started going out with him..
now, she doesnt want me talking to him at all. she said i was "obsessed" with him when we were going out. but really, it was just love. so i'm really kind of mad that she's going out with him, when she's my supposed "best friend." so at the moment, we're not talking. and today, we had a half day and me and my other friend decided to pick up our friends from another highschool. she found out about it, and she wanted to go, too. so she was trying to get on the bus with me, & called me so we can go together. but shes only USING me. because, i didn't go with her. so, once we got there, she didn't talk to me at all. and it really pisses me off! and then he was there, too.. and when she's iwth him and i'm there, she's always ALL OVER HIM in front of me. grr. it pisses me off so much.
and then, one day, we were at a party. and she started making out with him. IN FRONT OF ME. and she did it on purpose, because she kept looking back at me. and i hate it. it's so hard; knowing she was my best friend and we go to the same highschool.. but i really don't think i deserve a "friend" like that. =/ help. please?? I write out suicide notes and read them over and over...i write long paragraphs explaining to my family why I killed my self..while I write it I am laughing and thinking how fun this is, I get a thrill out of it. Sometimes I think I am depressed, but I don't feel depressed. I love thinking about suicide, wondering who would be at my funeral, if anyone would cry or care. I feel like I am going crazy, it's always on my mind, am I just crazy? Because I don't have any of the symptoms of depression.. (link)

I have a couple of serious questions and I would like an answer from someone who is educated and is preferably familiar with birth control pills. I've been taking them for about a month to help with my period and I just started my second pack. During first pack, I ended up skipping a couple days because I completely forgot to take them. But other than that, I've been taking them everyday around the same hour. My question is..if I take my pill a couple-few hours earlier or later than the previous day, is it still just as effective? I heard that as long as you take it within 24 hrs, AROUND the same time, it's fine. But is it really necessary to get it within the same exact hour everytime? Also, I'm about to become sexually active. (We'll be using the pill AND a condom, don't worry.) But I'd like to know how long does it take before the pill actually kicks in and starts working effectively. Remember, I missed a couple days on my last pack about a week or two ago, so should I be okay as long as I continue to take them every single day from now till then? Sorry this was so long. They are supposed to be effective after the first pack, but just to be safe my gynecologist told me that your body isn't completely adjusted to it for a few months, so it's a good idea to be especially careful around them.

They happen all the time I believe, just most of them occur in the middle of the ocean where people aren't really cognizant of them. It also depends on where you live. If you are in Hawaii, deadly tsunamis are much more likely to occur than if you live in... New York.

okay, I am 21 and still a virgin. I have done other stuff just not had sex yet. There are actually a lot more 21 year old virgins than you'd think. Wait until you find a guy you are completely and totally comfortable with, and then consider having sex. Make sure he knows about your past and that you use protection so that you can ease your worries about getting an STD. You might also want to see a therapist, because whether you were actually raped or not, it's still a rather traumatic experience and maybe he/she can help you out a little more.

Talk to her about it in a nice, not attacking way ("I know you're going through this awful, stressful time but it really hurts me when you treat me like this.").. and if she still becomes angry at you or is not understanding enough, let her go for a while. She'll let you know when she needs you. If you decide to still be her friend at that point is your call.

Get a book of one acts. One acts are short but they still have good plotlines... so you won't put the audience at the festival to sleep. You could even do a collection of one acts. 'Words, Words, Words' is a good one, as well as 'Impromptu' or 'here we are'. They are a bit cheesy, but that just makes it funnier for the audience.
