I personally NEVER liked them. They look stupid. And I hated when girls would tuck their pants into them. That looked ugly as shit. But, to answer your question, no not really. You don't really see them around anymore. Now it's more of those flat ballerina like shoes. I think those are ugly too. But, whatever.
