Question Posted Monday September 26 2005, 11:46 pm

Ever since I was young, I have been designing alternative education systems for fun. I'm now wondering if there is a particular job related to this, or whether I should just write a book.

It would probably be a good idea to talk to people from other schools that have alternative education systems. For example, there's one in California ...Thomas Aquinas I think...

Writing a book is always good too, if you have the motivation for it!

Well, I am not totally sure what you mean by this, but I think I have a fairly good idea. And yes, I do believe there is a job for this, because it pretty much sounds like what my mom does for a living. In a nutshell, she provides guidance and information for those secondary students that would like to persue other options other than traditional high school. This inclides, GED, HSEP, Job Core, Military, Gradutating early, Charter schooling, and various other options. I know TONS about it. She has a degree in education as well as a degree in social work. But anyways, your goal is totally achievable and it's a great thing to want to do. If you want any other info let me know. And I say, go after it! :)
