Recent international research indicates that male condom breakage ranges from zero to 12 percent, with many of the US-based studies falling in the two to five percent range. The percent of condoms that slip off the penis during or after intercourse is in a similar range.

yes, you are right. my sister is married too. she's in fact been married longer than I have. Yeah, I know my relationship with my husband seems a lot more open than hers with her husband.Yeah, I know I'm too honest with her. I would keep it to myself if she didn't ask me those type of questions from her like, "How much does your husband know about me?". She knows that I just can't lie to her (or most people for that matter), so I guess that's in a way her taking that for granted. It does seem like she can't handle the truth.
thanks again for your advice. i very much appreciate it. (link)
|
No problem at all. She just needs to realize you don't keep secrets from your husband. Reassure her that he isn't going to tell anyone anything you tell him in confidence. Its possible she could be embarrassed around him if she feels he knows things. She will get over it.
If she decides not to tell you things as a result, guess there isn't much you can do about it. I'll bet it won't last if she decides to do that. Sisters just have a way of talking to each other about things. :)

if a guy you are making out with puts his hands on your boobs like ONTOP of your shirt, not under it, is that sexual harrasment or assault? what if while youi were making out he put his hands in the back pocket of your jeans and squeezed your butt? is that harrassment? thanks so much! (link)
|
If your making out with a guy they try those things. You need to tell him to stop if you don't want him doing that. Maybe even before you start the kissing.
If you tell him to stop and he continues despite your saying no...its assault.
Sexual harassment...which seems to be used a lot in the wrong way these days, is when you are
harassed in the workplace by someone who is your superior. One who has the power to promote you or fire you. Someone who makes you feel your job is in jeopardy if you don't put put.

have any of you guys ever had frozen grapes or bananas? and what did they taste like?
---***i rate***--- (link)
|
Frozen grapes are good. I don't know if bananas freeze very well or not.
They taste like grapes. Just takes a little longer to eat them and they are cold. Great if you are on a diet.
You can also throw them in some juice and use them like ice cubes. :)

I have a formerly long lost sister, who I've met recently, and we've trusted each other rather quickly. She is a very private person, while I'm very open with my life. We've had dilemmas about a similar topic in the past, and this is our second time at this topic. Now she doesn't trust me with her personal business anymore, because I tell my husband about things that effect me about my life, which happens to also include her (like our arguments and such). She wants me to be a loyal and respectful sister, but how can I do that while being a loyal wife at the same time? Now my sister is acting differently with me and doesn't tell me about things about her personal life anymore. I feel like in order for me to help her as a sister, I feel to believe that she confides in me. I don't know. My sister is letting her past experiences (with not being able to trust others) change her into a more private person, and I think that's getting in the way of our relationship. I respect her current mentality, but I can't accept the way that her current mentality came to be (since I do know alot about her past experiences). I don't know. Am I wrong for not consenting her first to ask her if it's okay to tell my husband about things that effect me, which happens to include the both of us as sisters? (even though, she did tell me prior to, that if it involves me, then it's okay to tell, but she says that whatever she said is "in the past", and she recently changed her mind about what she told me back then). So yeah, I understand why she is the way that she is, but she doesn't seem to understand me. I know that every situation is not just simply black or white, but can have many gray areas (and this situation does have some grays). But with that aside, Who's right in this situation? Me or her? (link)
|
I tell my husband everything. I wouldn't tell my sister that I had told him though. He wouldn't say anything to her about it either.
That may work for you. If you are like me your hubby is your best friend. No need to have secrets.
Your sister should understand that but maybe she doesn't have a relationship like the one between you and your husband. You don't mention is she is married as well. If she isn't the it is just something she can't understand at the moment.
Lets say you are right, but she just doesn't know it yet. You aren't being disloyal to her. If something was really better left unsaid, I am sure you would respect her privacy and keep it to yourself. :)

why do cows have spots? (link)
|
You had to ask this question didn't you? :)
Actually not All cows have spots. The ones who do...well it is just a genetic thing. I would guess if you breed a white cow with a black one you will get a cow who is black and white.
Very good question! :)

my mom has MS (multiple sclerosis) and she can still walk but not for a long period of time, and she can't really be active that much but she is still normal besides not being able to walk for a long time and definitely not run. is she going to die? i just thought for a while that its just a little disease that if you take your shots for it (wich she does) it will be alright. but then i looked up "multiple sclerosis" on advicenators and it said this girl's mom died from it. will she die? is this going to get worse? dont sugarcoat it please (link)
|
She will live almost as long as someone without it. It isn't a worry, honestly.
She will always have flare ups where she doesn't feel so good but she isn't going to die from it anytime soon.
Here is a web site of frequently asked questions
if you would like to have it. It is the official MS site.

i do not understand why everyone is always saying "don't have sex" all i hear from teachers now is "sex will ruin your life, it hurts you, its horrible, don't do it, you'll regret it, yada yada yada" um, you wouldn't be here if it weren't for your parents having sex. teachers shouldn't say this. it is actually a great thing if you do it at the right time. i think they should tell us the disadvantages of having sex when you are young, not just in general NOT HAVING SEX. is there a reason why people tell us this? (link)
|
I agree it should be taught a little more realistically. The public has something to do with it I'm sure.
A kid goes home and tells mom that a teacher says sex is beautiful if two people love each other, and next thing you know, they are accused of promoting sex. People are strange.
I am sure they are just doing what they are allowed to do. :)

You don't have sex at age 10. You will regret it.
Save that for someone who you really love...and who will be with you a long time.

Today in health we watched "the cycle of life" or something, about babies being born. Well ..I know how they are and stuff, but in this video they showed EVERYTHING, like and, I think I'm scarred, I always wanted to have kids before this, but now I'm thinking I dont want to, since it grossed me out so much, and my health teacher said it hurts a lot. And from what I saw, ew.. and blah.
Do you think I will change my mind later in life? Because I want kids, but blah it seems gross..I'm young, so I will most likely change my mind about kids later right? (link)
|
Yes, you will probably change your mind one of these days.
It is mighty gross and I can't tell you it doesn't hurt. It seems to be forgotten though as time passes. Don't worry about it to much right now. :)

ok, im going to have sex for the first time, my bf and i've already planned it. 14/f, and DONT say im too young, im ready. anyways, i watched a few porn movies so i could get it down a bit, but i was wondering, do guys like it when girls like moan and have orgasms? thanks a lot. (link)
|
At 14 you more than likely won't be moaning with an orgasm during sex. If that's what you are expecting....better rethink things a bit.
By yourself, yes. With a 14 year old boy...very unlikely. They have no control. If they did then moaning would be good.
You may be ready at 14, but don't expect fireworks. I tell you this so you won't be disappointed. :)

alright so heres the deal. me and this guy used to go out. we went out like 6 times, and one time was almost for a year. He's always the one dumping ME, but somehow we end up back together again. Six months ago,he broke up with me so were not currently going out, but i still really like him, and i think he likes me again, too.Maybe he changed, but Im not sure if i should just keep giving him chances? but i really like him. Do you think its a good idea if we go out? Or should i just get over him? THANKS ALOT.
(link)
|
If you still like each other then you need to get back together and concentrate on keeping it that way!
Breaking up and getting back together is just to easy. Work on communicating with each other and stop any problems before they get out of hand, and you may be able to make it work.
If he is going to continue dumping you though every time, best to find someone else. :)

This is a long one...bear with me!
I have been with my fiance for 5 years. Last year I was feeling a little restless, and needless to say I left him for another guy. About a month later my fiance and I got back together and things were great. Now they are back to the same old thing again. (being treated like crap) And I have been thinking about "mr. fling" a whole lot lately. I think that I may be in love with him. Even though it was a short time we were together, we really connected. I miss him a lot, I dream about him, I really want to talk to him but I know that I can't. We live seperate lives now (him and his girlfriend-and myself and my fiance)
I just need some advice...on anything!!!

If you want to contact the ex and see how he feels....now is the time.
Don't get married unless you are really sure he is the man you want. If you are thinking of another it will be doomed from the start.
So, contact him if you must and see where things stand with him ( unless you know already). If he doesn't want to give it a try, then you need to concentrate on making the relationship with your fiance a solid one before walking down the aisle together. :)

Ive noticed that in the past few days ive been crying all the time, and i dont know why, cos im happy, yesterday was great and its the half term so things are fun. But yesterday i was reading this book about two people in love and then they had this big emotional row and just because of that i started crying.
Then this morning i checked my email and there was this chain mail about how you dont realise how much you love your parents until theyre gone, which made a few tears come from my eyes. Then, i was just watching the streets new music video (where he sings about how he misses his father) and i almost cried.
I dont know why, as i hardly ever cry, why do i keep crying at all these little things? (link)

Simple answer is raging teenage hormones!
Really, they make you have bouts of happiness and then sadness. You will bounce all over the place! It is nothing at all to worry about, it is perfectly normal. :)

so story is me and my boyfriend were having unprotected sex saturday (27). yes i know, very bad, but we were just trying it for a second. he kept going and finally pulled out and was like oh shit. i looked down and the cum was coming out. i asked him if he pulled out in time but he didnt know. now im freaking out because i havent gotten my period. i was due the 27-30. we looked ovulation up and it said the days before your period your infertile. could it just be stress that is keeping me from getting it or should i go to the doctor? please help. i rate 5's (link)
|
Ovulation varies from woman to woman and from one month to the other. Not a good indicator of
safe days.
Since pre-ejaculation fluid contains some sperm,
anytime an unprotected penis enters a vagina, the chance of getting pregnant is there. Small chance perhaps, but a risk you really shouldn't take if you don't want to get pregnant.
You have a small chance. Its to early yet though to tell anything. Stress can cause you not to get your period too.
Give it a couple of weeks. If you don't get your period, get a home pregnancy test from Walmart, or any drug store. If you get a positive result, see your doctor. :)

THIS MAY S0UND LIKE A STUPID QUESTION; BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW IF A GUY LIKES YOU? ♥ (link)
|
Here is a web site that tells you everything!
It is in a big list and easy and quick to read.
http://www.dreambachelor.com/relationship_advice/aa_howknow_bachelor.cfm
I also must tell you that writing in all caps is not supposed to be done. It is considered shouting and it hurts our ears...or eyes. :)
|
So, I gave my boyfriend a handjob and after I did it he had to "adjust himself." He didn't cum, but I am worried about precum. He fingered me after that and ahh I am all paranoid that I could be pregnant. What are the chances that I am?
Thanks. (link)
|
I very small chance. It would be extremely rare if you were. I wouldn't go bonkers worrying about it but from now on make sure he washes his hands before touching you.
For everyone else who answered your question as well as for you the myth that sperm dies when it hits the air is wrong. Make him wash his hands.
This is from a medical website to make it understood....
Sperm can usually live up to seven days when they're in the cervical mucus of a woman's vagina. However, when they're not being nourished and protected by cervical mucus, vaginal secretions, the warmth and moisture of a man's urethra and reproductive tract, or other warm and moist conditions, they die anywhere between a half an hour to four hours.
Plenty of time to cause trouble. :)
|
I know this isn't a medical website, but I called the doctor's office and they're booked until tommorow. 15/f
Since Friday I've been pretty sick. Friday I had the chills and a fever (at one point I was delirious) but I had a really important performance for drama so I went. Saturday I was delirious all day, chills, fever, sore throat, runny nose. Sunday my ears started to hurt, throat hurt, painful cough, lots of sneezing. Last night my eyes started to produce mucus (i know, gross). I was literally picking it out of my eyes. This morning when I woke up my eyes were crusted shut and I couldn't open them without washing them off. My eyes sting and the veins are bright red...from a small distance my eyes appear pink, and I still have a fever.
Any idea of what this is? Pinkeye maybe? Or if you know something that will help my eyes, I can't keep them open but when i sleep they get crusted shut. Sorry this is so long! (link)
|
It sounds like pink eye...also known as conjunctivitis should you care to look it up!
Sometimes it will go away on its own, but the doctor will probably give you some eye drops to put in your eyes. It is contagious and very easy for it to go from one eye to the other...over and over again. So get the drops.
In the meantime, you can wear sunglasses if your eyes are sensitive to the light.
You can put cool compresses on your eyes to help with the swelling and itchiness that you are probably having. Be sure you use a clean wash cloth every time, like I said it is very contagious. Hold it on your eyes for maybe 15 minutes at a time.
That should get you by until you can see the doctor. :)

ON THE SITE, someone answered another question with a girl who got bad stomach aches and they said it might be leaukimia. well i get stomach aches (and usually cramps like on my ribs though) but not horrible ones. also, along with that i get head aches. but doctors say its all in my head and i have to go see a physcologist cause its not improving. is it leaukimia?? :( i don't care if it is just tell me (link)
|
Well I certainly don't know who told someone that
but they need to be banned. If you have a link or can find it again send it in an abuse report, if you would.
Any number of things can cause headaches and stomach aches. They are symptoms of tons of things
that only your doctor would be able to diagnose properly.
If your doc recommends a visit to a psychologist, then that is probably the course to take.
