at a bar/club can you tip bartenders individually or is it more "proper/expected" to use the tip jar? i use the same bartender and usually just throw him a 5 or 10 on my first drink to cover my tips for the night, is that okay to do?
I prefer to tip the individual as tips from the tip jar either get shared out between all the staff or in some cases, used to go towards their wages. If I think someone is worth tipping, I tip them personally. The same goes with compulsory service charges at restaurants.

I just want to know how does sex feel? Is it comfortable? Painful? Or irritating? Please tell me what happens..when a guy puts his thing in a girl's private place....does the girl start to bleed? What happens to the guy's thing? Is it full of blood? What happens?? Just wondering.
The first few times you have sex may be uncomfortable and painful. You may bleed a little because the thin flap of skin inside your vagina called a hymen will break. However, if you use tampons etc then it's likely that this skin has already been broken so you might not bleed. If you do, it will only be a small amount and nothing alarming.
When a male becomes aroused, the blood vessels in his penis fill will blood, which is why it hardens.
Unles the female is fully relaxed and aroused, sex will be very uncomfortable. This is because when you are tense and nervous, your muscles will contract, making it difficult for the penis to enter smoothly. When a female is aroused, her vagina produces a natural lubricant which is designed to make it easier for the penis to enter.
After the first few times, if you are fully aroused and at ease, sex should not be painful or uncomfortable.

okay so i dyed my hair, and i wanted it my natural color, it didnt turn out that way it was more reddish. My hair was like an medium brown a level 5 for those who know hair levels. Im wondering if its possible to get my natural haircolor back and how would i go about doing that? what should i do? thanks!
I would highly reccomend you go to a professional hair salon. I've dyed my hair countless times and I've found I only achieve the colour I want if I go to a proper hairdresser. Home kits just don't cut it. It can be expensive but the results are well worth it and the colour tends to last longer.
If you really can't afford, try to look for salons with trainee hairdressers. They often need models to do free or very cheap hairstyles on. They are supervised by a fully trained professional so there is nothing to worry about.

im a 16 year old female and im bisexal. it about the same girl from my last question i gave a few weeks ago. i decided to try to move forward in our friendship into a relationship but she basically pushed me away. So we have a small arguement and i end up being pissed so i told her im done, but i dont know if i really am. How should i move on from her or should i try to fix it and be patient and wait for her to change her mind about us?
You can't make someone like you. If she's told you she doesn't want a relationship with you then you have to accept that. If you still value her friendship, then let her know you hope you can still be friends. It may take a while for your friendship to get back on track so you will have to be patient.

Does anyone know a good recipe for Turkish Delight? I can't seem to find one anywhere!
Also, what are some different flavorings i could add into the recipe to change it up a bit?
thanks, alexa
http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/516651
That's a basic recipe for lemon and rose Turkish Delight, which are the traditional flavours.
You could also add cinnamon or mint or add small pieces of nuts such as hazelnuts, walnuts or pistachio. Almonds also work.

i've always been wondering about these questions.
1. so what if there were two lesbians or two gay men, one acts girly and the other one acts manly. wouldn't that make them straight?
2. what if there were two straight people and the male acted girly and the female acted manly. wouldn't that make them gay or lesbian?
3. alot of people say you can only lose your virginity once, but my friend is bisexual and she thinks you can lose it twice. once to a male and once to a female. so does it depend on the sexual orientation on how you think about it?
1. Sex and gender are different things. Sex is whether or not you ARE a male or female. It is not debateable. Gender is how you personally act or define yourself. No matter how you act, you are still the same sex. So two lesbians in a relationship would still be lesbians.
2. See above.
3. Technically, virginity is a penis penetrating a vagina or anus. It is a personal choice whether or not you feel that you can lose your virginity to another girl.

I've been trying to get pregnant for the past two weeks. I'm really bloated, really moody, and I also eat and drink a lot. Although I took a pregnancy test a couple days ago and it came up negative.....Could I have taken the test to early?
Most tests don't work until after you've missed a period. Either get a 'first response' test, which are specifically designed for use very early on in pregnancy, or wait until you have missed a period.

I'm 16, getting my driver's license at the end of December, and I've been wrestling for a while over whether or not to be an organ donor. When I got my learner's permit I opted not to be one, but a license is more permanent and I don't want to make too hasty of a decision just because the idea seems morbid. So, any thoughts? Should I be an organ donor or not? Thank youu.
Being an organ donor is a brilliant thing and there is nothing to be afraid of.
They're not going to take organs from you while you're still alive without your consent. Obviously if you chose to donate an organ such as your kidney while you're still alive then that's up to you, but no one is going to call you up and ask for your bodyparts.
All being an organ donor means is that when you die, you can help other people who may die otherwise. Your organs are taken from you in the most sensitive way and you would be stitched back up afterwards so that it wouldn't even be noticeable. I listened to a speaker on organ donation, who told us a story about a woman who's daughter was involved in an accident. She was on the organ donor register and after her organs had been taken, the mother asked to view the body. The mother said that she just looked like she was sleeping and that she couldn't even tell that anything had been removed.
Remember that it's not just organs that can be used. Parts of your eye, skin and other tissues can also be used. In the UK alone, nearly 93,000 men, women and children are currently waiting for life-saving transplants. Every year, hundreds of those people will die. In 2005 there were only 28,110 organ transplants performed.
A big question you have to ask yourself is if you needed a live-saving organ transplant, would you be willing to accept an organ from a donor? If the answer is yes, then shouldn't you be willing to give?
If you do decide to add yourself to the organ donor register, you should make sure that your friends and family are aware of it. If you do die prematurely and it is not immediately obvious that you are on the register, your family will be able to make it known to the medical staff.

Okay, I wear regular tampons.. And my period is getting heavier and heavier. Well I was going to try Super. But my friend was like that's going to hurt to pull it out(im a virgin & ive been fingered with only one finger so its not like i ever stick anything big up there) ahaha, well when i pull it out since it being filled and pufffed upp. Will it hurt if I wear Super?
The only reason it would hurt is if your flow isn't heavy enough for them. When a tampon is ready to be changed, it's saturated and therefore very wet, meaning it slips out easily.
It may hurt the first few times you put them in, as it's always harder getting a tampon in than out. To help this, only use Super ones when your flow is at it's heaviest.
Remember, your vagina is designed to fit a baby through. A Super sized tampon is a mere blip on the radar.

I was on Facebook and I saw different people posting to a site dedicated to seeking revenge on a teenage girl because she broke up with her boyfriend.
Her ex-boyfriend feels that it is his duty to get revenge on her and post all of her private pictures. The more referrals a person offers, the more pictures that the people can see (even naked pictures).
Can I report this online somewhere anonymously... ? I don't want to call the police. I just feel really bad for this girl...
If the page is part of Facebook (e.g. a group), then report it to Facebook. There should be a link on the group to do this.
If it is not on Facebook, then report it to the whoever is hosting the page. There may be a link at the bottom of the site but you might need to hunt around a bit.

Hi, I wasn't sure which subject to put this under.. but anyhow, I was wondering: is it neccesary to wash cotton fabric before you hand applique it? What are the different types of stitches? I know of the blanket, chain, rickrack, and fence rail stitch. Also, any tips on the easiest ways to hand applique would be helpful. Thanks
From personal experience, I would say the easiest way to applique by hand is to ensure the fabric is stretched out tightly and pin it down. If you can get hold of some, I really reccomend using Bondaweb. It's double sided and sticky and will hold the two pieces of fabric together so you can stitch it without it bunching.
I prefer the blanket stitch when I'm doing it by hand because I find it the easiest and most effective but you might disagree.
I have never washed fabric before stitching it but it could be a good idea as if the fibres were to stretch once it had been finished, it could go out of shape.

in the second season first episode tony is all depressed and towards the end he breaks down and cries tomaxxie "they know"
what do they?
whats wrong with him?
At the end of the first season, Tony gets hit by a bus. As a result he is suffering from subdural hematoma, which is a serious blood clot on the brain, leading to his learning difficulties, amnesia and personality changes. In season one, Tony was a very popular and well known guy but is now a virtual recluse and is severely depressed.
I can't remember that exact part of the episode but I think what 'they know' is about his accident and subsequent brain damage.

If i tried getting my vagina to be cleaner by putting listerine on it?
Here's a question, would you put any of the following on your vagina?
Alcohol
Potassium Nitrate (which is used in explosives)
Benzoic Acid
Sodium Benzoate
Sodium Flouride
Sorbitol
Poloxamer 407
Sodium Saccharin..
I could go on.
If not, I wouldn't clean your vagina with Listerine.
Even if it wasn't dangerous, it wouldn't make your vagina any cleaner and it would probably be rather uncomfortable.

SO just recently I attempted logging into my facebook account, with the correct email and correct password that i have not changed. It wouldn't let me login because it says i have to many "failed login attempts". Even though I have typed the correct password in each time and then it was saying how "reset password isnt avaible right now etc." So i don't know what would be the issue here. yet last night I was at my best friends house and she typed in my password so i was thinking maybe she tried to go on and lurk my stuff but she couldn't remember my password or something like that? I dont think she would do that but it's very possible.Has this happend to anyone?
It sounds like someone, whether or not it was your best friend was trying to get on your account.
Leave it for a few hours, then try logging in. If you still can't, contact the support team.
It's a good idea to change your password regularly just in case someone does get hold of it.

Yesterday I was going through Facebook groups the contains my high school, and I found of a group of a graduated class from the 90s or so.
Curious, I clicked it and went to pictures.
There was a picture there of someone in the hallway of my school back in the 90s, way before we had a ton of renovations and stuff like that done.
It looked so empty compared to today.
And now I've become a bit obsessed with finding pictures of the inside of my school from the 90s or older to view.
How can I find more? Because I looked at all the groups on Facebook and no other group has anything.
Asking my principal would be pointless, he's a mean old grumpy man who keeps EVERTHING hidden and a secret.
If you don't feel comfortable approaching your principal, how about a teacher, or even a receptionist or nurse who has worked there for a long time?
They might be able to put you in touch with an alumni association. You could also try posting a discussion thread on the groups explaining what you're doing and asking if anyone knows of anyone who can help you.

i have a couple of spots on my sholder's does anyone no any good ways of gettin rid of them using things around the house? thanks (:
If you have long hair or hair that sits on the shoulders, that's probably the cause. Exfoliating with a body scrub quickly in the shower a couple of times a week should help as well as over-the-counter acne creams.
If they persist, if might be a good idea to visit a doctor or a dermatologist as they will be able to prescribe something stronger.

Guess I really am a baby but I have to ask. So do they? Have you had one and what was your experience?
You will feel a tiny prick and possibly a dull ache for a while afterwards, but it's not unbearable. Everyone deals with pain differently and it also depends on how skilled the person doing the blood test is. I've had a few, the worst was with someone who was a bit heavy handed and I ended up with a huge bruise. That was a one-off though and all the others I've had have been fine.
Make sure you voice any concerns with whoever is performing the test. They will be able to talk you through it and put you at ease. If you are really worried, it may be worth asking in advance if you would be able to use Emla cream, which numbs the area. This might not be available though.

You heard it right! I can't believe it but I am very allergic to earrings. My ears are pierced so what do I do now? Do I just let them heal over or is there something else I can do?
I suspect that rather than being allergic to all earrings, you are allergic to nickel, which is an element sometimes used in jewellery. Many people have this problem, I actually can't wear any jewellery containing nickel at all without getting a rash, itching or redness. I suggest you look for earrings marked 'nickel-free' or made of gold or silver.
It's likely that the reaction has also caused an infection, so make sure you're cleaning your piercings daily with saltwater or a saline solution.

Is it possible if I just leave it alone and stop having sex that a yeast infection will go away completely untreated or do you have to go to the doctor and get something to take care of it?
It will eventually go away, but it will be a slow and uncomfortable process. If you don't want to see your doctor, you can get over-the-counter treatments, in the form of pills, creams or a pessary (which is inserted into the vagina like a tampon). I suggest you go and speak to your pharmacist.

Can you tell me how to get rid of your period faster? There has to be a way right?
Thank you!
Once your period has started, you can't cut it short. Certain forms of contraception such as the Pill and the injection can shorten it or stop it altogether, but once it has actually arrived for the month, there is nothing you can do.
