hi, i recently bought an atv with a 2 stroke engine. there was enough fuel in the tank to keep it running for a while. but soon i ran out. so i went to a petrol station to buy some petrol. it says on the tank lid fuel+oil mixture. Im new to engines etc but i basically know fuel is to run the engine and oil is to lubricate it and last longer. when i had the working fuel i could see it was a light golden brown colour. the fuel i bought was dark green and thick. it says on the can 2 stroke engine oil. what is fuel, how do I mix them and what do i ask for at the station. do i just add petrol??? if so how much (link)

well most places have tanks of premixed fuel and oil for 2strokes. but if you need some help it's about 4 ounces of oil for one gallon of gasoline. and make sure you buy two stroke motor oil.

Say "No!" and leave her alone. But other times, be nice to her. For the boss thing- have a staring contest with her. Seriously, make her look away first. Cats see it as whoever looks away first is weaker. I do it all the time with my cat and he looks away after like 6 seconds, he knows I'm boss. :)

well as the others say:
water or padded bras.
you don't want big boobs,
trust me, the bigger your boobs the more creeps you will attract. girls with smaller boobs also have a bigger variety in bras. i've always wanted smaller boobs because there are very few cute bras i can find that actually fit.
so don't feel bad at all. you can get away with many more clothes than your friends can. you said you're curvy without boobs, so that's good =)

there are a lot of things you have to take into consideration. there's no straight up answer to this, but only how you answer the questions.
1. how good of friends are you with brooke?
- would she hate you forever if you did tell logan?
- could she backstab you?
- would YOU be very depressed if you & her stopped being friends?
2. does logan really like brooke that much?
- if you told him, would he be mad at you?
- could he easily move on with life?
3. what would YOU gain by telling logan about brooke?

if you want to tell logan, these are the gains:
- he would trust you a lot
- you would hope that he does the same back to you
if you tell logan, these are the loses:
- most likely, your friendship with brooke along with her trust for you
if you don't tell logan, these are the gains:
- no conflicts with friendships & boys
if you don't tell logan, these are the loses:
- logan will most likely not find out & when he does, he will be extremely heartbroken.
my suggestion would be to talk to brooke. like honestly. if she & you are bff, just be like, "hey, look, i know logan really likes you. if you don't like him, why don't you just dump him so he doesn't get hurt later?" if she gets defensive & gets mad at you, drop it. there's no use talking to her. if she's like, well, i don't want to lose him cause he's such a wonderful guy blah blah blah... i'd just give it some time.
since you said you & logan are closer, i'd tell him that brooke might be up to some stuff, but you don't know anything more. just to give him a nudge without starting anything up.
your goal here is to help your friend, logan, while avoiding any drama with brooke.
if you aren't particulary best friends with brooke [cause you said you're closer with logan] i'd tell logan. cause maybe he'll go out with you. just watch your back for brooke - she can do stuff back to you.
there are consequences & gains to each solution. you just gotta pick the better one.
overall, i'd say tell logan IF HE REALLY LIKES BROOKE. don't bother if it's just like, a brother sister relationship. he & you are very close, & if you tell him he will trust you more and probably like you back for all that you've done. he could also be mad at you for telling him cause he is mad at himself for ever falling for brooke. you know that feeling you get, when someone tells you bad news? you get mad at them instead of being thankful they told you in the first place? he might feel that for you.

Use teeth whiteners at like the grocery stores in the toothpaste section. they have like crest ones and probably colgate too. they are liquid or a plastic cover for your teeth ask a clerk if you need help locating them :-)GoOd LuCk!!!

Ok i have went through alot of stuff lately in my family..divorce..affairs and a drug addict sister. I am going to be a senior this year and i have survived my vball team for the past 3 years. I hate volleyball..dont like practices..games..nothign..but i do it because its a sport and my parents want me too. I think that you should do whatever you want to, mabe its not volleyball you like, so what? there's lots of ways to be active, pick something new :-) being active is a great way to keep your mind off of the bad things that are happening in your life, even try to influence your sis to try out with you. Whenever I use tampons I still leak ALLOT and it's like i'm not even wearing one so I have to wear a pad also. This happens ususally on the first two days of my period I guess when my flow is heavy but the rest of the time it doesn't leak. Am I putting them in wrong or what? Should I try a bigger tampon and put a new one in more often? Has anyone experienced this problem and what did you do? Also my mom just got me these pantyliner things instead of pads (to wear with tampons) so I need to do something about this or it will leak through the pantyliner. (link)

yes, i experience that problem as well. when i'm on the first few days of my period, i use super / heavy tampons [i use playtex] & keep them in normal time along with a pad. but i hate pads. so i just change my tampon more often & keep spares. i know it's annoying, but if you're just at home & in sweats, just keep a tampon in & a pad on. no, you're probably not putting them in wrong, cause other people have the same problem. the blood probably won't leak through the panyliner if you use a heavy / super tampon. so dont worry about it.
overall, my suggestion would be to use a bigger tampon & change it more often if it keeps leaking. it's like, if you are on the first day of your period & you're using light tampons & it's leaking... yeh try larger tampons.

well, are you sure you have 2 males and 2 females? also you need a nesting box, and fill it with some sort of material. also, enough green veggies or it wont mate, because in the wild, they mate when theres an abundance of green leffage. helps to read up so google "parakeet mating" and get out a book or two, they can go in further detail-detail i cant be bothered to go into :) hope i helped

I believe you can apply towards the end of your first or second year as a transfer student and if you get accepted, yes you can transfer. Many students that did not get into a really good school right out of high school usually do this. I don't know much about JHU but you can find out if it has any sister schools, those are usually easier to get in to and you can transfer to JHU after a year or so.

it's not that they don't everyone does. it's that they don't feel the need to talk about it. jackasses are the kind of people who run around talking about it all the time. they're also the kind of people who end up getting someone pregnant at age 16, and ruining theirs and the girl's life. sure the shy dudes might not talk about it constantly, but i guarantee they're just as sexual if not moreso, but they're at least of a higher moral fiber.

I don't have my essay on me, it wasn't returned to me after i took my SATs. There's absolutely nothing wrong with personal examples as long as you explain everything clearly. If you have a personal example that you can use, don't stress about historical stuff. Although I don't have my essay, I do have one that came in my SAT study book that was graded two 6's as well and the author used personal examples as well:
"One of the defining qualities of a good friendship is that both friends can be completely honest with each other. This does not mean that the two friends don't consider each other's feelings of blurt out comments without thinking, but it does mean that each person can rely on the other to tell the truth, even it the truth can sometimes be awkward or hurtful.
My sister and i have always been close friends, even when we were younger. Im 16 and my dad died when i was 8 and my mom recently got married to a guy who used to be in the army. I have two sister and now i have 3 step brothers. He is like way strict and his kids are like perfect angels but me and my sisters have never really been raised that strict and for lack of better words are pretty wild. my mom never really punished us for things and now this guy is trying to control us and take over our lives. try talking to him... it's the only way to get through to him. if he really makes you feel that way, he may not even be aware of it! just sit him down and say, "can we talk about something that has been bothering me?" don't scream / yell / shout at ALL. he is an adult, and you want to be treated as an adult back, or seem like an adult anyway. just tell him exactly how you feel. how you think he might be just TOO strict. say like, "i know that you must be strict while having so many younger people in the house, but I feel like we could work together and make the household less strict, yet not wild and crazy. what do you think?" if you come off like a mature, intelligent, responsible 16-year-old, then he will definitely take your perspective into consideration.

My best friend and I are going on a secret road trip this week. I am calling in sick to summer school and telling my parents I'm just hanging out at my friends house after school. I'm going to pick up my best friend and we're going to drive from San Diego to LA and we are going to do random stuff. I know it's not much of a road trip since it's 3 hours away but we have a lot of fun ideas. The point of this trip is just to get away from it all...and for one day, no one will know where we truly are. It's like an escape.

Sounds like fun. Make sure you leave time for traffic. The trip is 3 hours away but leave an hour and half earlier just in case you run into some trouble (unexpected traffic, accidents that block the highways, etc.). And if you get back before the time you told your parents, just go chill out at a park or get something to eat and just relax.
Try to obey road laws on the way. You don't want to get a speeding ticket on your way there so your parents find out.
Also, if you don't want to tell an adult you're going at least tell a mutual friend. That way, if God forbid, something happens, someone will know where you are. Also, this friend can help cover for you if your parents do end up calling for whatever reason. Or maybe a sibling that you can trust?
Keep extra money and CDs with you :)

The idle constantly runs up and down on my Prelude. It'll start at 1000 RPM, rev to 2000 RPM, stop gas flow, run back down to 1000 RPM, and then repeat the process.
How can I fix this?
Also, My speedometor doesnt work. What could be causing the problem there? (link)

what's happening here is prolly two things. one of the two rather. what you're gonna wanna do is remove your intake manifold. yes the whole thing. once that's off you'll look down into your engine and below the engine is the transmission. now follow the wires down to the tranny. there will be three wires (these are the speedometer wires) they make the speedo work, and they also manage your idle intake valve. and make it so the car can idle proper. what prolly has happened is over time the valve has gotten warped, dirty, and no longer connected or no longer staying open to the right amount. that might be your main culprit.
another culprit might just be your intake manifold itself. yup the thing you have to take off to get to the idler valve. well this little bad boy could be dirty, filthy, grungy, and sending in too much fuel making you run too rich and idle too high and be all jumpy. what you do is get a metal baking pan, fill it with carubretor cleaner, and place the whole manifold in the pan and scrub it down good. then let it dry and slap it back on. i'd also get in there and change the fuel lines, fuel pump, and fuel filter. once you've taken care of all that, get back to me, i guarantee things'll be better.

My boyfriend just got a car. It's a manual. He knows how to drive it fine, but he can't shift into first gear fast enough and that causes him to roll backwards if he happens to be stopped on a hill. He's worried that since people always stop basically right on his ass, he's going to roll backwards into them. Any tips on how to not roll backwards in a situation like that? I mean I know if he did roll back and hit someone it would be the other person's fault for stopping so close, but it would be nice to avoid the problem altogether. Please and thanks! (link)
