You give them a hairbrush to chew on. Whenever they try to bite on it, they will recieve an unharmful but shocking poke from the bristles on the hairbrush. [ IC's advice column | Ask IC A Question ]

Seriously, make her look away first. Cats see it as whoever looks away first is weaker. I do it all the time with my cat and he looks away after like 6 seconds, he knows I'm boss. :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
StarryNightSkies answered Tuesday June 26 2007, 3:20 pm: there is a product called bitter apple, its a spray (for training) if she tries to bite you spray some on your finger and put it in her mouth
she will hate the taste but it works. make sure you be consistant with it [ StarryNightSkies's advice column | Ask StarryNightSkies A Question ]
fatallygorgeous answered Tuesday June 26 2007, 2:49 pm: Just because your kitten bites you, it doesn't mean that she doesn't like you. I have a new kitten as well, and he bites. He is a very sweet cat though, so he's not being mean. Kittens bite because they are teething, and also because it is their way of playing.
