my horse is 4 years old. i broke him by myself and he's always been awesome since then until the other day.. i was out in the field (where i ride him all the time) and out of no where he bucked me off like a bronc and i only had him in a light trot and its not like there were any flies out so i was like wtf? if he was ever gonna throw me why didn't he do it like 2 years ago? is there something wrong with him? could it be a neurological defect? any help would be awesome cause i wanna keep him and get him barrel trainer but i'm not gonna spend 500 some on bucks for a horse that's gonna randomly throw me. any help would be awesome:) (link)
Adding on to what the other person suggested, I'd look at the way his tack fits as well. Get someone who knows about proper saddle fitting to come out and make sure his saddle isn't making him sore. Poor fitting tack can cause a lot of behaviour problems that generally go away once the horse isn't sore anymore.

Also, I really hope you weren't riding him 2 years ago, when he was 2. A horse is definitely not done growing by that age, and the bones in their legs haven't closed up yet.

what s a good hairspray that has that "sssssshhhh" sound when you spray it? (link)
Aveda Aircontrol is amazing.

okay so i really wanna go to a concert, im not really picky i like alot of music. i live in connecticut so i was wondering if anyone knew what concerts were going on around here and where can i get tickets? oh and around how much would they be? thank youu (link)
Phantom Planet will be coming to the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford on August 30th. They put on an AMAZING live show. Paramore, Jack's Mannequin, & Paper Route will also be playing at that show, and they're all really good bands. I think that Paramore is actually the headliner, since the show is billed under their name on Ticketmaster. As of right now, tickets are still available for $24.

i love horses but its impossible for me to get one, do you have any advice for how i might be able to get one? (link)
Well you didn't give much information, so I'm not sure how much experience you have with horses, or why it's "impossible" for you to get one. I wouldn't recommend that anyone get a horse unless they have ATLEAST a year's worth of riding lessons under their belt. Also know that you should be prepared to spend around $8000 per year for boarding, feed, tack, farrier, vet, & other misc expenses. If you gave more information, it'd be easier for me to help you.

Is there any websites where you can upload a picture of yourself and a picture of your boyfriend/friend or something, and it'll give you an idea of what your cchild would loook like? Even if it's just for fun. Thanks (link)
http://makemebabies.com/

The babies that it makes are kinda ugly, but it's still fun.

well...my friends sometimes dont use conditoner and i do. and i was just wondering what does the shampo do for your hair and what does the conditioner do to your hair? (link)
Basically, shampoo cleanses your hair & conditioner "repairs" it, leaving it soft, healthy, & detangled.

My dream is to become a singer. I'm a singer and songwriter and I just am dying to get discovered. I don't know what to do I've been singing in places getting noticed and such but the right people don't come to me I don't know I've heard I'm really good. I made a demo and I really want to send it to recording labels that are accepting submissions but I looked everywhere and can't find them. Can you guys help this girl out? I've tried everything. The only website that gives you recording labels is taxi.com but its 300 a year. And my dad says that's wayy to much I agree. Most of the websites are that way to join you have to pay a fee. So can someone help me find recording labels looking for new artists. My genre is pop, pop rock, punk a little bit of each. Thankyou sooo much I really appreciate it!
Ps I rate! (link)
I haven't heard your music, so I don't know if you'd fit this label's style or not, but you could try sending a demo to Fueled By Ramen.

Fueled By Ramen
PO Box 1803
Tampa, FL 33601

Do you have a myspace for your music? That's a great way to gain a fanbase. You could make banners for people to put on their pages and help promote your music, book shows at local venues, pass out promotional materials before shows, start a streetteam, etc.

Good luck!

what can i wear to a rodeo? its going to be my first date with this guy who works with me. i want to look casual and not over dressed like a cowboy hat (link)
I'd suggest dark jeans and closed toed shoes, with any cute top that you like. Don't worry about having to look all "western". You didn't say if this was an outdoor rodeo or if it was indoors at an arena. If it is outdoors, be aware that it may be very dusty there, since the footing will most likely be dirt and/or grass. I'm not sure how close you'll be getting to the horses, but it is ALWAYS a good idea to wear closed toed shoes when there are horses around, just incase you get close enough where you could get your toes stepped on.
Have fun :)

does anyone know how to slow a horse at the canter? I have an appendix quarter horse, and i ride hunt seat. He goes really fast at the canter, and i try to sit back and not dig my heels into him, but its harder to stay on. Any tips? thanks :] (link)
It's hard to give exact advice, since I can't actually see you and your horse to figure out the cause of the "problem", but I'll do my best. You might know most of this already, but I just want to make sure I don't leave things out incase you don't. I am an event rider and trainer, not a hunt seat rider, but I would assume that a lot of this applies universally to most disciplines.

First of all, how are you holding your reins? Some horses will toss their head and/or speed up if they are unhappy with the way you are positioning your hands against their mouth. Make sure that you have a nice bend in your elbow, and that you can draw a straight line from your elbow out to your hands - this will ensure that they are not being held too far up or down too close to the horse's neck. Widen your outside hand slightly and keep a light, constant pressure on your outside rein. This will help to support your horse, especially through corners, and will make it much easier for you to achieve the balanced, collected canter that you are aiming for. Your inside rein should only be used as a "backup" - do not put pressure on it unless you have to. Many riders instinctively put steady pressure on both reins to try to get their fast moving horses to slow down, but in actuality this just makes them go faster.

Your next step is to half-halt. You didn't mention if you have tried this or not, so I'm going to just assume that you haven't and explain it anyway. There are two variations of a half-halt, and can be performed one after the other if the first form does not get a result. First, make sure you sit back in the saddle. Then, remembering that the light pressure on your outside rein is to remain constant, take-and-give once with your inside rein, then release pressure on that rein. You may need to try again with increased pressure before your horse responds. Definitely make sure to release the pressure immediately when your horse responds. Repeat this every few strides, or as neccesary, until you can get your horse to remain at your ideal speed.
If your horse does not respond to this, your next step is two use a two-handed half-halt. Again, sit deep in the saddle, and do a sharp take-and-give motion with both hands. It is most effective if you can bring both hands up and back towards your chest, like you're lifting weights. When schooling at home, a good "WOAH" thrown in is always helpful if your horse is being unresponsive.

A good exercise is to set up ground poles or small cavaletti and practice collecting him up between them. Your horse will not want to hit his feet on the poles, and will have to adjust his stride and not rush in order to make it over cleanly. Make sure you are sitting back deep in the saddle, with wide hands and good contact, making sure to half-halt in between poles as needed. Counting out a steady "one-two-one-two-one-two" in your head, or even out loud, in time with each canter stride will help you to maintain a steady rythm.

When you are initially asking him to canter, if you are trotting, make sure it is a nice, controlled trot. If he start giving you a fast, strung out trot, immediately check him and put him into a controlled trot again. Do NOT let him fast-trot his way into the canter. You will NOT get a nice, controlled canter if you don't first have a nice, controlled trot.

You can also practice starting and stopping at certain points in the arena. If you have dressage letters around your arena it would be especially helpful, since you could pick certain letters to make your transitions. For example, walk to A, create impulsion and canter by F, half-halt and come to a complete stop at C, create impulsion and immediately pick up the canter, then half-halt and stop again at E, etc. You can also do this same exercise in various other patterns, such as serpentines and figure eights.

Last of all, make sure you're not gripping at all with your calves when your horse goes faster. It seems obvious, but a lot of riders do this without even realizing.

Good luck, and feel free to ask me any other questions that you have!

Hey, Im 15 years old and ive been riding horses for about 8 years now. I have owned my horse for three years, and I was being ridden western. He is a 16hh appendix quarter horse. But i retrained him to do english hunter, and he forgets all of his neck reigning. He wasn't really good at it in the first place, but I want to show english and western, but I need to retrain him well to neck reign. Any suggestions on doing so? Thanks. (link)
It should be pretty easy for you to re-train him to neck rein. I taught my TB to neck rein when he was 16, and he grasped the concept right away. This arcticle explains it really well:

Haha this is such a random question..but Sex on the beach..how do you not get caught? My boyfriend and I would like to try it when we go to the beach next week but we're both scared of getting caught!
Suggestions or stories?
Thanks a ton =) (link)
I'm not sure how to tell you not to get caught, since I don't know your specific circumstances, but I do want to give you a bit of a warning-
you will get sand EVERYWHERE. Yes, I really do mean everywhere. It can be downright uncomfortable, and not nearly as "romantic" as everyone seems to think it is. You can't just run back inside & go to bed like nothing has happened once you're done. You will be literally COVERED in sand, and also run the risk of cutting yourself on shells, getting your skin (both inside & out) rubbed raw from the sand, and getting soaked from the water. This will happen even if you bring a towel or something to lie down on. I'm not trying to discourage you, I just thought you should know what you're getting yourself into.

hi! i'm going on a cruise and need some book reccomendations. i'm looking for something thats not totally trashy or superficial.. but something entertaining. i'm a bit picky. im 18/f just graduated. thanks! (link)
You could try:
"The Raw Shark Texts" by Steven Hall
"Magical Thinking" (or any books) by Augusten Burroughs
"Invisible Monsters" (or any books) by Chuck Palahniuk

in the victoria secret fashion shows is it only the 8 original models that will walk ALL the lingerie?

or other s will too? thenot so special ones like alessandra and adriana heidi.. etc (link)
Since when are Adri, Ale, & Heidi "not so special"? I don't really get that.
But anyway. Right now, the Angels are Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Selita Ebanks, Heidi Klum, Izabel Goulart, Miranda Kerr, & Marissa Miller. They will all walk down the runway 3 times each, but other models will be walking as well. I can't remember them all off the top of my head from last year, but they included Doutzen Kroes, Morgane Dubled, Flavia de Oliveira, Inguna Butane, Isabeli Fontana, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Oluchi Onweagba, Caroline Winberg, Hana Soukupova, Julia Stegner, & Jessica Stam. There were a few others too, but like I said, I can't remember off the top of my head. They also had a contest where they chose a college girl to walk down the runway for Pink.

Hello everyone:

I was recently told by a girl who I really do not like that most every girl before the age of like 18-20 has had sex. Now I know that it really isn't true and that there's girls out there who are still virgins. I'm a virgin myself and am 22. Do you think that this statement is true that almost any girl good or bad has had sex before marriage? Why or why not?

(link)
um sex before marriage isn't illegal, so I don't know why the other person said that.
But I do think that in that age range, there are probably more non-virgins than virgins. Probably it is just a reflection on the current "norm" for societal values that we have today. Sixty years ago, that sort of behaviour was very much frowned upon. But these days, for the most part, it's considered "normal" for unmarried people to have sex.

alright so im going to europe in 2 weeks and i need some advice. I would like to know some ideas of a cute/chic outfit to wear on the plane so that im comfy and at the same time ready for europe the minute i get off the plane. if anyone has any ideas, plz tell me...oh and it doesnt have to be anything fancy, just as long as it looks chic, because europe is known for great fashion... (link)
How about something like a cute sundress with some black leggings and flats? You didn't specify where in Europe you're going, but I think that outfit is pretty universal over there, since I saw it everywhere from London to Copenhagen.

I Just bought a new pair of boots. I love them,
but the bottoms of them are slick on tile floors.
It doesn't help at all when they are wet!

Does anyone know a way to keep me from breaking
my neck and still be able to wear my new boots? (link)
I know that you can buy little non-slip pads that stick right onto the bottom of your shoes. I've bought them from Famous Footwear, but I'm sure they sell them other places as well.

im 15, female. i have a concave chest. (if u dont kno what that is its like when the middle of your chest kind of caves in) it just runs in my family, im not anorexic or nething i just happen to have that. i am SO self concious about it. Bras dont fit right ever becuase the middle doesent touch down. i cant wear a regular "triangle" bikini. i dont know how i could ever take my shirt off for a guy (which i would but i dont kno what he would think!) so i was wondering how other ppl perceive it, like guys cause whenever i start to date a guy i wonder if i should tell him or not...help! (link)
When I was younger, I had a really good friend who had a concave chest. He was a guy, not a girl, but I know he wasn't shy about it at all, so people weren't freaked out by it or anything. I actually had a bit of a crush on him. I think so long as you're with a guy who likes you for YOU, and not just for your body or for sex or whatever, then he won't care. If you tell him about it and he's weird about it, then he's obviously just superficial and not the right guy for you.

Monthly/Yearly? (link)
Here are rough estimates of horse ownership costs, not including any training/lesson/showing fees. Prices vary depending on your individual horse's needs and your location.

Boarding (should include feed, bedding, & various other services depending on the barn) - $150 - $2000 monthly.
Farrier - new shoes/feet trimmed around every 6 weeks, $25 - $200
Wormer - around $15 every 2 or 3 months
Vaccinations - rabies, tetanus, equine influenza, and rhinomune, $95 yearly
Teeth Floating (filing them down) - $75 yearly
Misc. Vet Bills - you'll want several hundred dollars set aside for this.

I need a slow song that truly is beautiful.
I am helping my brother propose to my best friend
And basically I need a really beautiful song (a slow song)
Its going to be playing in the background
And its going to be the song that they’ll have for the rest of their lives, you know?
These are the two people I love the most in the world
It really needs to be beautiful

He’s 26 and she’s 24 and I’m 22 so we’re not ancient but we’re not teenagers either.
So as long as the song is slow and beautiful, it will be fine.
Help!
(link)
I'm not sure how into indie music you guys are, but you could try "This Is For Keeps" by The Spill Canvas. It's unconventional, but I think it's beautiful, and it's one of my most favourite love songs of all time.

I have an interview at Abercrombie tomorrow. I've never been on an interview before, so im really nervous. I also don't know if its ok to wear jeans or not. Ive been getting mixed reviews from people. So, yes or no on the jeans and does anyone have any advice?? Has anyone applied there themselves? Thanks. (link)
I worked at A&F for 2 years, so I can tell you that you should definitely wear something from their store. They're looking to hire people who have "the look", and you might get put in the back doing shipments if they don't feel you can represent the brand.
Also, make sure you really bring your personality to the table, smile a lot and be friendly during the interview. Abercrombie does group interviews, so it's meant to be a relaxed, fun environment. They'll ask you a bunch of silly questions, like "What day of the week would you be and why?" or "What kind of tree would you be?", just to see how much your personality comes through in your answers, since they want outgoing, friendly people out on their sales floor.
Good luck!
