My dream is to become a singer. I'm a singer and songwriter and I just am dying to get discovered. I don't know what to do I've been singing in places getting noticed and such but the right people don't come to me I don't know I've heard I'm really good. I made a demo and I really want to send it to recording labels that are accepting submissions but I looked everywhere and can't find them. Can you guys help this girl out? I've tried everything. The only website that gives you recording labels is taxi.com but its 300 a year. And my dad says that's wayy to much I agree. Most of the websites are that way to join you have to pay a fee. So can someone help me find recording labels looking for new artists. My genre is pop, pop rock, punk a little bit of each. Thankyou sooo much I really appreciate it!
Ps I rate!

Do you have a myspace for your music? That's a great way to gain a fanbase. You could make banners for people to put on their pages and help promote your music, book shows at local venues, pass out promotional materials before shows, start a streetteam, etc.

They went to the local radio stations and handed them copies of there tapes and asked them to play there songs and well now they have a record label. Not a very popular band anymore they broke up. Maybe you should do this because if your really that good and write your own music you will get noticed.
I wish you the best of luck and if you become famous don't forget me i'd love the autograph ;)
