Hey, my name is Faith42 and I hope I can help!

The shampoo cleans your hair , and roots . The
conditioner moisture's your hair. I also heard that
the shampoo doesn't always gets your hair all clean,
that's why you should also use a conditioner.

I hope I helped! ,

A lot of people don't use conditioner it basically depends on your hair type. I have alot of hair, and its thick, so i deffintly do ha. But some people who have really thin hair, wouldn't want to use it because sometimes, not all the time, It makes there hair flat, frizzy etc. Okay so now onto your question (: ...
Shampoo:When your hair is dirty,it will contain
dirt,oils,skin flakes,and salt. Watercan't
get rid of this on its own. So thats what
Shampoos for. (: What it does is it,breaks
all those things down, and pulls them away
from the hair.
Conditioner:Conditioners have way more than one
purpose. Here are some of them...
-Moisturizes.
-Reconstructs. (helps dead ends)
-Acidifiers.(makes hair shiney)
-Detangles.
-Thermal Proctector.
-When you blowdry, or straighten,
curl etc. It ruins your hair
little by little. So this helps
to keep it healthy.
-Glosser.
-Oils. (Good oils. Like if your head
or hairs dry.)

So some people don't use conditioner, its common. But Those are the many good advantages of using conditioner. Well I hope I helped. !.

Shampoo is a hair care product used for the removal of oils, dirt, skin particles, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles that gradually build up in hair. The goal is to remove the unwanted build-up without stripping out so much as to make hair unmanageable.

Shampoo, when lathered with water, is a surfactant, which, while cleaning the hair and scalp, can remove the natural oils (sebum) which lubricate the hair shaft.

Conditioner is a hair care product that alters the texture and appearance of human hair. It usually makes it softer and easier to manage.

Shampoo cleans your hair. It is sort of a stripping agent, if you will. Strips out the dirt and oil. However, for your hair to be it's healthiest, it needs some of those oils.

That is where conditioner comes into play. It adds back some oils to your hair to keep it healthy and aid in drying and breaking damage caused from shampoo, but mostly from heat/chemical treatment and styling product damage.
Yes, hair spray and the like ARE damaging. They contain alcohol, which is a drying agent.

Realistically, unless your hair is dirty, it is best to wash at the minimum of every other day.

Basically, shampoo cleanses your hair & conditioner "repairs" it, leaving it soft, healthy, & detangled.
