My nephew KC is marrying Kendra and they have 1 child together who is 2 years old. This will be the 3rd date set for marriage. KC is not himself when she is around. He is extremely quiet and uninvolved with the family when she is around. But, when she leaves he smiles and laughs and has alot of fun. Kendra uses their daughter to get what she wants. She has told KC that he will not get to see their daughter when things are not going well between them. She has threatened to leave and he will never see her again. She has said the same thing to KC's mother and even went to their house and took all of their granddaughters photos from their home. She has called his cousins and told them that she hates our entire family. Their wedding is in a few weeks and we are not sure if it will happen but now she has contacted the flower girl's mother and told her that she is not needed in the wedding because of budget issues. She also sent an email to the best man's (KC's only brother) girlfriend and told her she is not invited to the wedding and that if anyone does not support their marriage then they should not be there. Please help with any advice. (link)

Sounds to me like KC is marrying a spoilt brat.
Do these two love each other? It seems KC only perks up when shes not around and all she can do is threaten him. Isn't any wonder hes happier when she is gone.
I think someone he respects needs to have a serious talk with him before this marriage takes place. I think they need to find out what his true feelings are. If he is afraid he won't be able to see his daughter unless he goes through with this...he needs told differently. Otherwise,
sounds like hes looking at a life of misery. :)

40s - f - uk.
I've recently been diagnosed with COPD which is Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease. I also have unstable asthma. Due to this I have to take steroids quite often which makes me put on weight. The extra weight is not good as it puts more strain on my lungs. I am trying to be careful with what I eat. I'm not fat as such, but definitely under height for my weight!
I find it very difficult to exercise, walk far etc, due to the lung disease, but I need some form of exercise to try to keep the COPD at bay as long as possible.
Also, due in part to the steroids I have early onset osteoporosis, so exercise would be good for that as well. Doctors have not really been much help. Any suggestions please? (link)

Consult your doctor and ask if swimming or aerobic water exercise would be helpful for you to do. :)

im 17/f and i have been with my bf (17/m) for almost 6 months. we are completely in love and very serious. this was MY idea just to clear it up.
being that we are going to be so serious and before we nkow it even living together ..i figure we are still young and many people make the mistake of marrying a high school sweetheart without exploring other people. so my idea is for our 6 months we each get sexual with another person. do you know anyone who has done this? how did it work out? whenever i think about him with somenoe else its so weird! and the same for him thinking about me with someone else. this can really bring us to be a lot more open and trusting..but im also afraid i might feel hurt..thinking about another girl pleasing him and making love to him kinda gets me upset..but then i think how i will get the same thing so i feel better..i guess right now i am 50/50. what do you think about my idea..being with someone else for a day? I've been married 31 years to my husband and we were married at your age. I have to agree with others who think its a bad idea. Why risk your relationship?
If you both feel this is something you have to do in order to strengthen your relationship...I think your relationship may be in trouble. You will be hurt by this..how could you not be? Don't do it. :)

You simply make him come home with you. You are the mom and he is the child. It makes no difference that he is autistic he still needs to
come home every night the same as any other child. Don't treat him any differently. :)

Well I think since you don't see each other its just to hard to keep the relationship going.
When you see each other a lot your relationship kind of grows. When you don't, then when you do see her it is like starting all over again every time.
No matter what you tell her there will be hurt feelings. There just isn't any way around that one. But, I think if you just tell her that you still want to talk to her you really think you are both to young for a relationship where there is no going out and doing things together.
That doesn't mean sometime in the future when you can drive and all that, that you won't get back together...who knows whats in the future. But for now you just need to be friends.

I don't think its bad. Hes a little older but not a lot. Have you told your friend you like her brother? Does she have any clue how he might feel about you? If you haven't then see what she can find out for you. If she thinks he may like you then go ahead and say something to him. :)

Ok, i'm not sure if you'd know answers, but since you're in the medical field, i'll give it a shot.
i've heard that it's bad to leave day-wear contacts in overnight. why is this bad? my one friend told me that she thinks it makes your eyes dry. I once kept contacts in for 3 days. is this bad for your eyes?
I've been thinking of getting overnight contacts. Do you know how long you're allowed to wear them? *like could you wear them for say weeks in a row or is it only for one night?*
also, if you're going to switch brands of solution, will your eyes become irritated from the difference in the solutions?

If you leave them in to much longer than recommended they can cause a nasty eye infection.
Not only does it not look good :) It can damage
your eyesight.

Extended wear or overnight contacts may not be such a great idea either. Read up on it before deciding if its right for you.

You need to see a doctor and get someting for it.
A lot of the time they won't go away themselves.
In the meantime try some powder that is unscented
or yuo can use cornstarch in a pinch if yu have no powder. :)

i woke up this morning and my wrists hurt and i dont know why. they arent cut or anything they just really hurt .. and its like near the vains. its not like i pulled it or anything. and i dont cut or do lacross or anything to make it hurt. its just realyl random and i was wondering if anyone knew what it was. ok so my mom smoked and than she stopped becuase of breast cancer but than she started again and than she stopped recently and now she begun again a few days ago ! i dont udnerstand it. i try and make her stop all the time but she just doesnt listen. she ingores the fact that it can kill her and do all other things. and i really dont know what to do and i really want to get her to stop .. please give me some adivce.. i really dont want smoking to hurt her. This probably won't help a whole lot but I'm gonna add it just in case your mom is anything like I am.
Express your concern but do not do it constantly.
There are still smokers who if nagged will continue just because "you aren't going to tell me what I can and cannot do."
So if you've ever heard that...back off for a few days. If a cancer scare didn't get her off them she probably isn't ready. And to quit you have to be or it won't happen. :)

Don't use bleach because it will ruin your carpet. Not to mention leave a big white spot if

What do I do if my friend's boyfriend is starting to get physically abusive towards her? Like he always "play" hits her but he goes out of control and keeps "playing" even though she's saying stop. The other day she told me he hit her for real. She barely did anything and he hit her on her face and arm. I personally want to kill him. But what can I tell her? Because she really loves him. That's why she has stayed with him that long. Everytime she calls me she always has something to say about something that he did and tonight when she called me it really made me sad/mad for her. I would tell her parents about it. It isn't only adults who are abusers teenage girls are abused all the time. It is not acceptable any time. Playing and not hurting someone is one thing, but if she tells him to stop and he continues...thats abuse. Oh having a yeast infection doesn't mean you are at risk for diabetes. Lots of women get yeast infections. If you have diabetes you are just pron to have them more often is all.

You really don't have a lot of choices. At 15 unless you are married, I doubt you are going to
even find a job let alone someone who will rent you a place to live. 15 year olds cannot legally sign contacts of any kind.
You could go through the courts and get emancipated but that would cost you money and you still have the same problems.
My guess is that the majority of your stress comes from hiding your pregnancy. Your hormones are probably working overtime right now and that can lead to crying and not getting along.
Go tell your mom. No easy way to do it just do. I've been there and done that and trust me...It will be such a relief, you will feel a lot better. :)
