Hey! My name is Ashlea. I've been a member on here for a few years. I'm 24 years old and have a little baby boy. I'm pretty outgoing and I love to joke around. I have a very strong sense of humor and I love making people laugh. I don't care too much about what other people think about me because in the end, you're all you got. Nothing else matters but your true opinion of yourself. I think everyone is beautiful in their own ways. I never look down on anyone nor do I judge people for their decisions or lifestyles. I love to listen to music. That's probably the only reason I like driving, otherwise, It'd be boring as hell. I love spending time with my son. He is by far the best thing that's ever happened to me. He is my best friend and when I'm with him, nothing else matters. The whole world could pass me by, and as long as I have him, it doesn't matter one bit. He's the only one who can truly make me smile. I am truly happy because of him. I love spending money when I have it, and sometimes, that can be a bad habit. I love to write poems, and am told I am very good at it, but only when I'm upset or bothered by something. Lately, though, I have not written any. I also enjoy writing. I seem to have a way with words and I love how a paper sounds after I write it. It makes me sound more intelligent.(lol) I also like to watch movies, mostly comedy and drama...I hate action movies and boy-ish movies. Horror movies give me nightmares(yes, even at this age.) ...I like to go on the computer alot and I love meeting new people, so feel free to get in touch with me!
I hate people who think they are better than you, and people who are snobby or stuck-up. Having that attitude will never get you anywhere in life, and I look at it as a sign of immaturity. I like to be around people that within the first 5 minutes of talking to them you know that you will already feel comfortable with them because they are that down to earth. I can't stand people who criticize other people and their lives. Understand that you, as well, have things about your life that you do not like...so you wouldn't like it very much if people talked about you in a bad way, would you? We're all human, we all make mistakes and run into bad situations. Things happen that we can't control. These are all parts of life though and can be handled with the help of others, which is why negative criticism is not needed.
I believe that what you can't control, you have to let go. Too often we hang onto things when we have no control or power over its outcome, so in the end, life will take its course and we have to just go with it.
I guess some people would say I can be selfish at times, although I choose not to believe that(lol), and if things don't go my way, i WILL be upset. But, I also learn to get over it and move on. I love giving advice. Everyone I know say that's the one thing they love about me the most...I never judge anyone on any of their problems and I truly do enjoy helping people with their problems in any way I can. I will go to any extent I have to in order to help someone else. I have a habit of putting other people's needs ahead of my own. I have been giving people advice and helping people so much with their problems that I don't even get that GREAT feeling anymore from helping people. It's just in my nature and I am happy to just be able to be of some sort of help to anyone: stanger or friend.

I had sex about 3 weeks ago for the first time Im 18. I still haven't gotten my period and Im due around now I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, we used a condom and he went slow and everything is there still a posiblity I could be? or I also heard when its your first time it could delay your period abit and Ive been paranoid for a week or so and streesing so is it also the strees causeing a delay in my period? Pregnancy tests these days are very sensitive to picking up HcG, so if it is negative, and you are expecting your period(most tests show accurate results upto 5 days sooner than expecting your period), I would relax a little bit.
The second and BIGGEST factor in this is that he used a condom the entire time. That right there is 99.9% reassurance that you are not pregnant. A condoms job is to protect against pregnancy and STD's. I personally think you are okay based on just the fact alone of using protection.
Stress can definately delay your period. When a woman misses her period, there are most likely two possibilities: pregnancy or stress. Almost every woman I know has missed a period at one point or another due to stress.
Stress and thinking you are pregnant may also actually make you FEEL pregnant. You may feel nausous or crampy due to the stress and mistake it as pregnancy symptoms.
I would wait it out another week and if there is still no period, re-test. After 2 or 3 negative tests AFTER you missed a period, you can pretty much relax. If you need reassurance, see a doctor and get a blood pregnancy test.
By the way, very smart to use a condom. Many people these days have risky sex and it's great that you value your health. Good luck, take care, and I'm almost 100% sure you are not pregnant and you are fine.
okay so I have this friend who's a junior and I'm a freshman. my friend gets mad at me because I never said hi to her parents when they drove us home and to school but I did. I said hi and bye and thank you but she said I got no manners and I'm disrespectful but I'm not. and today I talked to her and asked her if she was mad at me and she said yeah because it's weird how she said all that shit to me but I didn't take it seriously. but I did. she said that I should at least ask her for a ride but I didn't know that she wanted one and if she did she could at least ask. and I told her that. but she said that she shouldn't have to ask me for ride and that I shouldve offered but I didn't know that I was suppose to like I'm kinda slow but she just said I'm fake. and it kinda hurts me that she took it out on my parents. she ask me didn't my parents teach me any manners but they did. and like I'm not fake but then she is and she's been treating me like dirt because I'm a freshman. but isn't that the stupidiest reason to get mad? like I'm slow so I didn't know I was suppose to ask her if she want a ride. idk what to do now.help! It seems to me that this is just a huge misunderstanding.
Go up to her or call her and tell her you're sorry for offending her and for her feeling like you don't have the same respect for her that she has for you. Explain to her that you do not mind at all giving her a ride and wasn't even thinking about it and the fact that you should have offered to give her one. Tell her you did not mean to come off the wrong way and you understand why she is upset.
I know you're upset for her calling you fake, but maybe she just looks at it like you are not a true friend because she looked out for you and you didn't look out for her. And you're right, this is a stupid argument that shouldn't even be an issue between friends.
If you feel she treats you like dirt even outside of this argument, then yes, it is time to let this "friendship" go. You definately do not want someone that is supposed to be a support and positive person in your life tearing you down in any way.

As everyone else has said, anytime you have sex without protection, you are at risk of pregnancy. The fact that you didn't get pregnant those other times are pure luck. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and it took 1 year of having unprotected sex for me to get pregnant. Each time is a new time. Each time is a brand new opportunity for that egg to fertilize.
Your chances of getting pregnant on your period are considered to be lower than if you weren't menstuating, however, it is definately possible. I know quite a few women this happened to.
I've done some research and came up with this:
Sperm can live inside you for 5 days. You could have sex near the end of your period and the sperm could then live long enough to fertilize an egg several days later if you had a very early ovulation. If you have unprotected sex, you are at risk of becoming pregnant at any time during the month, period or not. Women ovulate at different times, depending on the length of your period cycle. The most fertile time to get pregnant is usually 3 days before and 3 days after ovulation. Generally, it is not likely to get pregnant on your period, but it is definately possible.
I would wait unti the time youre expecting your next period and see if it comes. If not, take a home pregnancy test and see what happens. I wish I could say you are not pregnant, but noone knows but your body right now. There are pregnancy tests in which you can test upto 5 days before youre expecting your period, so maybe take one now and see what it says since you say its been 3 weeks. You should be expecting your period soon anyways. Pregnancy tests are highly sensitive now a days, so take a test now. It will most likely give an accurate result.
Make sure to be careful from here on out. Don't let the "heat of the moment" cause another worry next time. Take care.

I had pretty much the same problem...depending on how serious the problem is, you may be able to use Spybot to fix it. It's free and you download it on line.
If that fails, you may have to just restore your entire computer. If you still have the restore disk from when you first got your computer you can use that. If not, you'll have to do it manually from your computer now. I saw that someone told you the directions on how to do it already, so follow those and you should be okay.
If that does not work either, you may have to bring your computer somewhere to have it looked at. Best Buy has great technicians if you can go there.

Ok, first off, you dont ever want to purposely make your friend look stupid as another person on here suggested. First and foremost, that is your friend and you dont want to ever embarass or belittle that person. Second off, I would reevaluate that friendship also because your boyfriend left you for her, meaning she is not such a good friend after all for going with him and pretty much betraying you. How long should you wait after hooking up with a guy and not recieving a phone call before deciding if he's used you or not? Sorry if that was a little confusing to understand, but it's been a week now and im not sure if i should just forget about him and move on, i really just can't stop thinking about him and i know after having sex the guy should at least call if he cares about the girl at all right? i mean if he dosent.. does that mean he has no feelings for her whatsoever?
if you had sex with him and he hasn't contacted you since then, then yes, i would say he's not interested anymore. i don't know him personally and we're not in his head, so we can't exactly say he used you but that's typically how the scenario goes if a guy doesn't call you afterwards. it's time to just take it with a grain of salt and keep walking. us girls get emotionally attached in some way after that, but for some guys, its just another notch on the bedpost. i know you cant stop thinking about him, but you really dont want a guy like that anyways and be glad you saw his true colors now and not when you were really deep in. after 3 or 4 days of no contact with him, i'd say its safe to say hes a loser. if he calls within 3-4 days at most, then give him a shot because some people dont feel the need to talk every single day. everyone is different. but, if he likes you and is interested, he would WANT to talk to you whenever he possibly can. so, as i said, give it no more than 4 days at most, and then take that as a hint.

Well first off, if you and your ex were planning on getting back together, he really shouldn't be going around kissing other girls...especially your ex friend. He is in no way off the hook here for that. I'm sure he knows you and your ex friend are not on good terms, and that wasn't very fair of him to do that, and wasn't very concerned about sparing your feelings. It may be time to reevaluate that relationship before stepping back into it.
And unfortunately, what's done is done. Your ex friend and your soon-to-be boyfriend have already hooked up. There is no taking that back. However, the hurt lives on. She either hooked up with him just to spite you, or she may really like him. If she really likes him, then unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about that because technically, you and this guy are not together and she is not your friend anymore. Sure, she should have spared your feelings at least a little bit since she WAS once your friend and your friends guys (ex or not) are usually off limits. If she did in fact do it just to spite you, then thats her own immaturity shes dealing with there and her own battle shes fighting...don't add fuel to the fire because revenge makes you just as wrong and bad as the person who hurt you.
My advice is to one, talk to this guy and try to find out what happened. If he has any respect for you, he'll be honest. And two, don't bother approaching the girl. You two are not on the best of terms as it is right now and techically, she did nothing wrong in a way. He is single and can do as he pleases in the end. I know I would be hurt if I were you and feeling the same way though, and sometimes, it's best to just let it go. Let her go. And let HIM go.

My little sister is going through the same thing right now. I have been to 4 different high schools before I graduated and I never had problems at any of the 4 at all. High school is not like what you see in movies. I have never experienced bullies or anything like that. I mean, sure, people get picked on, but it's nowhere near like middle school. In high school, there is a group for everyone and I haven't came across a loner in either of my schools. Don't worry, you'll be absolutely fine! The best years for me were in high school. You'll have a lot of fun times, and if you already know friends of yours that are going to your same high school, you're pretty much set! Take care!

this is really odd running across a question like this since I just went to a website about this exact thing last night. I've been having anxiety/panic attacks for over 2 months now and I had a really bad one last night at work. Trust me, I know exactly how you feel. You should go to the doctors and tell them about it. They may prescribe medication to take everyday or when you begin to feel nervous and feel one coming on. This is something that could be a passing thing, or, depending on the stress in your life, could be something long-term. Let me just say one thing: If your boyfriend cared at ALL about you, he would NEVER even mention abortion! He should love you and even though you both are young, this baby is a product of the BOTH of you, and there should be no reason to even think of abortion.
Second: I respect you so much for not wanting an abortion. I am very against abortions and you are absolutely RIGHT...to kill an innocent child, let alone your OWN, is in every way wrong in my opinion. the subject of abortion is very controversal, however, it comes down to morals and self opinion. Bottom line, everyone deserves a shot at life, even if you put the baby up for adoption, you are giving YOUR child a fair shot at a wonderful life, versus not even trying.
Third and last: I have a wonderful 6 month old baby boy. I am 21 years old and my boyfriend is 20. We have been together almost 3 years and have been through our ups and downs, but when I found out I was pregnant when I was 19, never ONCE did he ever mention abortion. That is not something you say to someone you love in my opinion. You and your boyfriend made this baby, so you have to deal with it no matter how hard it is. If you truly feel you cannot care for the baby and give it a good, safe, stable life, then consider adoption. But, please understand that in my experience, yes it is hard, but having a child changed my life in so many ways for the BETTER. He is so wonderful and truly my heart and happiness. You never experience true love until you have a child. It is a whole new kind of love. And PLEASE, never ever let your boyfriend steer you in a direction you do no want to go in. This is YOUR CHILD, and first step in being a mother is being there for your child and never letting anyone harm your child. I'm so disappointed that he would try and force that on you. There is so much help out there for you and your child if you decide to keep it, with or without your boyfriend involved.

there is probably something caught in your eye that is too small to realize. have someone blow in your eye while it is open or flush your eye out with water for a good 5-10 minutes.
