what should i tell the hairstylist?
i dont want to say..i want emo/scene hair,cause i dont think she knows what that is, and plus it sounds pathetic

i think it's important to print out the picture & show her. however, remember, just because you want a certain haircut does NOT necessarily mean that it would look good on you. perhaps try explaining to her that you want that haircut, but if it wouldn't look good for your face shape (e.g., that girl has a variety of short layers. if you have a very round face, that would look awful), if there exist any variations of the haircut that WOULD look good.

hairdressers pretty much know all haircuts..remember, that's their CAREER and they've pretty much seen it and heard it all..

but you should print out that picture and bring it in! My sister is a hairdresser and people bring pictures into her all the time to show what haircut they want!
