I have, after 10 months decided to get a tattoo for my best friend that passed away in october. I have decided to get a portrait of her on my back. I would like a quote or short lyrics to go underneath it instead of the dates she lived...anyone have any advice? I would like more positive and happy rather than sad. Thank you!

hope this helped

for some quotes..here are a few i found:
"Friends are the siblings God forgot to give us."
'Cause we are each other's angels And we meet when it is time. We keep each other going And we show each other signs~ Chuck Brodsky
No present could bring more joy to open, Then the one filled with your smile.
"Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they are meant to be there; they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or help you figure out who you are."
"Friends are the Angels that help you fly"
People who love you
people who you love back
people that will always be there for you
through the good times and the bad
they make you happy when you are sad
they are angels that have yet to earn their wings
they are your dearest friends"
"Our paths may change as life goes along, but the bond between friends remains ever strong"
Piglet sidled up behind Pooh. "Pooh," he whispered. "Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."
- Winnie-the-Pooh
We can't call people without wings angels, so we call them friends instead."
"I shed a tear in the ocean. The day I find it is the day I stop loving you."

I'm always there.
When your heart is filled with sorrow
& despair.
I'll carry you,
When you need a friend,
You'll find my footprints in the sand.

"Never had I imagined. Living without your smile.
Feeling and knowing you hear me. It keeps me alive." - One Sweet Day ; Mariah Carey & Boys II Men.
"I feel you everywhere I go. I See your smile, I see your face. I hear you laughing in the rain. I still can't believe your gone." -Kenny Chesney ; Who You'd Be Today.
"And it's true that you've eached a better place.
Still I'd give the world to see your face. And be right here next to you." - Mariah Carey ; Bye Bye.
I hope this helps you out somewhat. My mom died three years ago and the song "One More Day With You - Diamond Rio" was played at her funeral.

Then come the wild weather, come sleet or come snow, we will stand by each other, however it blow.
Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend -- or a meaningful day.
Fate chooses our relatives, we choose our friends.
Seasons change, friends pass away, and life goes on from day to day.
This girl happens to be my best friend.
I love her and nothing will ever change that.
God took her away, but she's still in my heart.
As for lyrics, seriously do this, go through every lyric that the band "And Then I Turned Seven" wrote. They all have a lot to deal with loved ones passing away, and they are amazing lyrics. [ Annerszz_101's advice column | Ask Annerszz_101 A Question ]
